After watching the match, when Jack came off you could sense we lost that bit of momentum, still playing well but lost that urgency with Ramsey, hopefully Rosicky can come and kick Ramesy off the subs bench, that way if Jack has to come off then we have a player with a bit of urgency coming on to replace him.

I know its early on but with the addition of Ben Arfa (wing/acm), Capoue (dm) we should be be pretty threatening going forward. I heard on one the web blogs Eduardo could become available after failing to settle at Shaktar, maybe a return to the emirates could be on the cards.

Baines, i honestly cant see him coming to the emirates, would be good but cant see it, maybe a swap at Zenit with Arshavin going and us getting Criscito may be a viable option.

It makes me laugh when people post rumours or suggestions of a player swap. When was the last time (if any) that one top player was swapped for another?

champagne charlie {Ed002's Note - A bit off the top of my head but Arsenal have an interest in a striker still and have certainly looked at Adrian Lopez, Lewandowski, Negredo, Shakhtar Donetsk's Adriano (as a cheaper option to Damiao). There has also been interest shown in Udinese's right back Dusan Basta. In midfield I think the club made a mistake not pushing ahead with the purchase of Wanyama in the summer but Benat has been looked at recently. There has also been a little interest in the likes of Markovic, Lars Bender, Konoplyanka and Hatem Ben Arfa but I cannot see anything coming to fruition there and it is likely more wishful thinking than anything serious. It is hard to see what interest remains in the likes of M'Vila, Llorente, Dragovic and Wanyama who were all previously of interest. I understand that interest in Holtby is still there and clearly there is interest in Zaha.}

I certainly hope we will not buy Adriano after what he did yesterday. Disgusting player, really. Never want to see one the most un-fair-player in the history of football wearing Arsenal shirt

I'm reading more and more that people want Walcott to sighn a new contract. I completely agree but what a difference from last year, both in terms in performance and fans attitude. we need to keep hold of key players, and possibly just as importantly, English players who have a true understanding of the fans, particularly in there Derby games. Theos best position may still be up for debate but I can't think of many players who could realistically replace him. RENEW THAT CONTRACT.

Why is our Club so slow in extending Theo's contract ? At last he is looking like the player we thought he would be ! His crossing is so much better now and he scores ! It's a no-brainer. He is an essential team player. He loves Arsenal. He is maturing nicely. He looks confident. Why is this saga dragging on ? If the club is trying to move him on I will consider it an insult to the majority of loyal fans. Banner protests if necessary?
