Its really, really simple arsenal are not prepared to go into debt over wages unlike the others, thats the long and short of it.

Götze to Chelski as a Lampard replacement aswell as Hazard and Subotic in 95 million January swoop. We will pick someone cheaper, like Barry Bannan, Samba and Victor Moses.

According to various poor sources we are considering moves for M'Vila and Martin, and Chamakh is wanted by Bordeaux, PSG and Lille.

Who thinks Chamakh will stay and who thinks he will go? I am not asking what you want to happen, but what you think will happen. Eds what do you think?

If he goes for 12m then we should get a proven scorer not a wc forward because we should get one anyway but a proven goal scorer that we can take a risk on

I think he will stay, wenger likes to give poor performing players atleast 5 seasons to improve. See nick, diaby, denilson, djouro, almunia et al for confirmation.

I would personally drive or pay for chams fair to any where he wanted to go, he is a ver poor player and not even as good as nicky, i think wede get about 8 mill for cham bearing in minde we got him for free

Press article today saying Wenger told some radio station that in the summer half the squad wanted to leave.

Suddenly I feel very bad for him. He cited it as being mostly a money thing too. He said something like 'Historically if you look at Man City you do not go there to win trophies. It is because they can offer higher wages than us, they have more financial clout.'

What a way to call out Clichy and Nasri haha.
Again I would love to know why Vieira has done what he has done - he was an Arsenal legend and I for one always thought he'd come back to our club. Instead he stayed there and dragged most of our french contingent over there too. Something doesn't sit right with me over Vieira, it really doesn't. Kind of feels like betrayal!

Agree with your comments on Vieira. Nasri made comments on the official Manchester City website that Vieira was instrumental in him deciding to go to City. Vieira promised him that he had the best chance to win at City more so than any other club.

So an Arsenal legend is luring an Arsenal player away from the club? It really is sad that money can buy almost anyone and that Vieira is over working for City. We all know one thing, Thierry Henry would never do something like that.

Not that difficult to think the Viera thing through. He has the chance to build his coaching career with world class stars, with a team that will challenge for every trophy or for us who will finish mid table and aside from the crocked Wilshere and Vermailen only have RVP (who should leave by this time next year to have the deserved chance of a trophy before his career is finished). Shame as I hate City and love Arsenal but it's the real world.
