Rosicky to leave for around 4 mil by the end of the transfer window.

the replacement will be Omar EL KADDOURI for 5 mil, and cause he is 21, will not take spaces in the 25 squad. (Sources from Italy have confirmed, and we are battling with Napoli for him)

Expect also another MID in the place left by Thomas, not mandatory this winter. And a LB will sign, even if it's a loan deal, as soon as a player from the squad is offloaded.

Free spots in the 25man squad in the summer: 1 GK(Almunia replacement),1CB(Squid),2MF(Rosicky&Benayoun),1ST(Henry)

Got to be some frickin stupid club to stump up 5m for a 31 year old injury ridden midfielder who will cost nothing in 4 months time

Agree0 Disagree0

Rosicky has played well this season off the bench. He's really one of the few creative players on the team. A 25 year old version of him is what we've really been missing this season.

he is only 21.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is 31, we need a regular starter, not a squad player, with his creativity.

New poster, Matty Gooner. Love the site.

Ahwell

Agree0 Disagree0

Since my last post was not published i will try again.
Omar El Kaddouri (born August 21, 1990 in Bruxelles) is an Belgian football midfielder, currently on the books of Italian club Brescia Calcio. HE IS NOT 31. Altho i know nothing about him a quick google search and you will find he is 21. Christ some people act so sure about somethings they have no clue about.

Agree0 Disagree0

People are talking about Rosicky. He is 31 and who would pay 5 mil for him mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's the fact that the first poster said 5m for a 31 yr old - when they should have said 4m

Agree0 Disagree0

My valuation are in Euros, sorry...

Rosicky was quoted for around 4mil euros that is about 3 mil pounds...Fulham want him and so does a German club.

ok so we arn't getting taiwo ac and qpr have agreed a fee for him

batch

Believable27 Unbelievable3

Can't believe he's chosen to go to QPR!

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats a new low, losing out to QPR. Arsenal probably offered a very low fee as usual. Bet January 31st will come round and we get no one...AW will come out and say at least we tried...i think they just say their going for players to keep the fans happy and make it look like they r trying to buy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Unbef***ingleavable. a new low this certainly is
AG

Agree0 Disagree0

He sucks anyway! Getting steadily slower and worse for the last few years, we don't need no more crocker heel rockers

Agree0 Disagree0

Im an arsenal fan and I can believe this I also love Norwich you can say I support both but qpr are going stupid I heard that the taiwo has been offered 90k a week would arsenal really offer him that money lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol a new low for taiwo u mean. unlucky for him a ac dont want him, wenger doesnt want him at arsenal by the looks of it because hes going pretty cheap so wenger wud of bought him if he wanted but to cap everything of i dont think any other top 6 teams want him

Agree0 Disagree0

QPR offered 90k? Don't believe you... Hope AFC wasn't in for him. In the opposite it's tragedy and ironic that QPR beat AFC in transfer market.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tawio to qpr. Are you sure? How we missed that one

Believable22 Unbelievable3

Taiwo is not a good player at all, at least not our standard. Don't settle for mediocrity even in times of desperation. Remember we are the Arsenal.

Just watched Remy score 2 for Marseille in their win. Wish Arsenal would make a bid, but sounds like Spurs have the best shot. He would do great imo with RVP.

Believable22 Unbelievable5

If Arsenal Want Him They Will Get Him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Trouble is , he doesnt want to play Europa league next year so counts you lot out , doesnt it !!
Davo

Agree0 Disagree0

We missed out on remy wen he was at ogc nice but liverpool missed out on him aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

Hahah spurs fans thinkin there all it again, they have no ammunition to take any dig at arsenal atall becoz we have dominated them for so long, its ashame they feel they have to come on here and actually make such statements loll!! we are always in the champions league and at least have won the prem when it wasnt money dominated, spurs will NEVER win the league , or even challenge in my opinion they have not been close to arsenal apart from this season for years and i still firmly believe we'll come above them, what have tottenham ever done compared to us????? h no answer! there not even our 'rivals' they dont rival us for anything, they just occupy the same area with less fans and a smaller stadium!

rant over

Rumours of both Taiwo and Gourcuff seem to be gaining speed, mainly from radio/TV abroad as opposed to anything in English media.

=M.A.

Believable7 Unbelievable21

Sanga....Kos..Verm....Taiwo
.....Wilshere....Arteta......
.........Gourcuff.......
Walcott/Ox....RVP....Gervinho

Looks decent :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh I hope so, bit of good news on the site for a change! It's a bit depressing on here at the mo.

Mong Out!

Agree0 Disagree0

On a loan deal for both ? I can't see AW buying both only to drop Gibbs/Santos and Wilshere/Ramsey respectively,
Would be great additions for the depth of all depths aha !

PdotY

Agree0 Disagree0

Interested to know if people think we need another attacking mid though, i guess if he was employed in an attacking mid/striker role he could bridge the gap to van persie better than others. probably should've signed him earlier as a better replacement for nasri/fabregas!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not religious and I'm praying! I'll be overjoyed if these deals happen! Always rated Taiwo and Gourcuff has untapped potential that I feel Wenger could unleash. Keep us updated M.A. won't you?

StEvE

Agree0 Disagree0

Statements now saying QPR look to be signing Taiwo.

Agree0 Disagree0

That was me ^ RE: QPR btw.

=M.A.

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like taiwo's off to QPR though, f***ing joke.

Agree0 Disagree0

Taiwo would be a great buy but gourcuff :/ not really needed i would prefer remy

Agree0 Disagree0

If he goes to QPR I'll be heartbroken for LOTS of reasons.

StEvE

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a conspiracy theory but.... Gourcuff and Chamakh had a great relationship (ahem) on the pitch at Bordeaux. Now Chamakh has said he's staying at Arsenal... just as the Gourcuff to Arsenal rumours gather pace.

Slick Mick

Agree0 Disagree0

Gourcuff may bring the best out of Chamakh.... AHEM... as stated above...

From Taiwo's agent:

"It is not definite that he will leave Milan in January.

"We are evaluating the situation together with the club. I can confirm that offers have arrived from France and England."

Problem is Taiwo wants a permanent deal and not a loan which AW is offering

arsenal on verge of signing aly cissokho

Believable15 Unbelievable32

No chance in that happening he is staying put

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a bigger target for Newcastle than us anyway! He isn't a loanee he will want a permanent deal since he is moving countries and he won't get that from Arsenal!

Get real...He isn't coming to London at all

Fulham are weighing up a £3 million offer for midfielder Tomas Rosicky

Lazio claim they have no plans to make a move for Andrey Arshavin during the January transfer window

Newcastle also keen on Arsenal target Cissokho.

Marouane Chamakh says AW has confidence in him and has no plans of leaving anytime soon....:(

from the bbc website, link is from caughtoffside :s

we are apparently making an £18m bid for demba ba

Ed, any truth in this?

bs18 {Ed002's Note - I really don't know. Sorry.}

Believable7 Unbelievable16

They bought cisse to play along ba not sale ba?

Agree0 Disagree0

Well what would you think? Does it sound likely? Is COS a good honest info source?

Would Newcastle wanna sell their best player / top scorer after barely a season?

Would Demba Ba want to play second fiddle at a team with well known defensive problems and move house?

Arsenal have something to offer him, maybe better pay and conditions but why would he want to move? And why would the club wish to sell him?

I doubt all this 'Because Arsenal are a better club' will go down too well with his agent and he isn't even English sure he couldn't care less for Arsenal and is fond of Newcastle who have made him a big player in a short time

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we do that when his get out clause is half that amount....

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we make an offer of £18m when 1) His release clause is at least half that figure and 2) He has failed medicals in the past - It's why Stoke didn't sign him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally Cissokho loan, with a view to a premanent summer transfer is nearly completed, the legal papers are in the process of being drawn up & the medical undertaken. I believe the reason Wenger is reticent to make any permanent signings are twofold. Firstly, the players he wants are not available in this window or are far too expensive & secondly Arsenal have a very large playing squad if you include players that are on loan. Arsenal need to release or sell players. In the summer Almunia's contract is up, Benayoun can be released & hopefully others sold.
This month the following should be back from injury: Vermaelen, Sagna, Gibbs, Arteta & Coquelin. In Feb Gervinho & Chamakh return from international duty, Wilshere, Jenkinson & Fabianski are back from injury.
Our team in Feb could be:
Szczesny
Sagna Koscielny Vermaelen Cissokho
Wilshere Song Arteta
Walcott RVP Gervinho (6 outfield changes from the Swansea matches!)
2nd team
Fabianski
Jenkinson Mertesacker Djourou Gibbs
Ramsey Coquelin Rosicky
Oxlade Chamakh Arshavin
Plus others...
Hopefully this squad will prove strong enough to challenge for a top 4 place & progress in the CL.
Get behind Wenger & the team.

Believable24 Unbelievable17

Cissokho papers and medical, you have to be kidding....

Agree0 Disagree0

Kidding??
Santos is realistically out for most of this season, whilst Gibbs is just coming back from injury & being injury prone we cannot rely on him. This solution, gives us the opportunity to access whether it is worth permanently signing Cissokho in the summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

What about putting santos left wing and moving gerv over to the right?

Agree0 Disagree0

Cissokho is injured at the moment... So he wouldn't have taken a medical and definitely has not been at Colney at any point in the past week or two.

=Miss Arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Miss Arsenal,
A medical is being arranged, it has not been carried out, as far as I know. Arsenal's legal team are working on the case.

Agree0 Disagree0

Still no striker
what a joke

Agree0 Disagree0

Cissoko won't come. They want a permanent signing for him, not a loan. He will most likely end up with Newcastle.

Another arsenal failing to use there head and sign a player!

Agree0 Disagree0

I am going to go ahead and believe M.A on this one...

Pretty sure he is going to Newcastle...
