I can understand the resistance to the Benzema rumours. I don't know whether they're true or not but it would be getting back to the type of Wenger signing that kick started our sustained success in the early Wenger boy days. Bergkamp (I know he was a brucey bonus signing), Henry and Vieira were all failing overseas before becoming legends at the Arsenal. Could Benzema become an Arsenal legend?

People actually want to see Benzema at Arsenal? I've always thought he was massively overrated and money could be spent better elsewhere.
Click believable if you want the signing of Benzema to happen and unbelievable if not.

Here are the facts about players and transfers
Goalkeeper- Fabianski will be no.1 with Snezchey and Mannone(once hes back from loan) as back ups
Defence- wenger won't bring in another CB due to kosiclney, Squallaci and Djourou playing well and vermelean returning
Midfield- we have so many and all are amazing except 1 or 2
Striker- we hav Chamakh, Bendtner, Vela and V.P returning so look good but could see one addition due to Vela not consistant andV.P injury prone
so outs in january you will see Almunia go athletico madrid becuase man.u want to buy De gea in the summer
ins- 1 signing in benzema on loan to provied abit more of a bullyish approach upfront and could score some goals for us
also there is no way Arshavin, Clichy, Eboue will leave
Arshavin becuase he is an amazing talent and wenger wouldn't let him go
Clichy becase gibbs is becoming injury prone and we don't have another back up for gibbs due to traore on loan at Juve
Eboue- always can make an impact and is so dangerous and if sagna is out can always rely on ebout to play at right back

Glad Man U beat spurs, I see laner and Guv have been keeping their heads down since. Fabregas has aggravated hamstring and is out of Shaktar Donesk game. Typical that it is always our best players that get injured. Also when is Vermaelen going to be back, he has been out for over 2 months now

So your saying that Wenger hasnt used tactics for the last 6 odd seasons? Do you not think a tactician and basically genius like Wenger doesn't opt to use tactics in EVERY game Rigsby.
I agree with Ben in that its to do with the calibre of players and those other factors eg mistakes.
I doubt tactics is the real isssue, although we do approach those big games with a "we can pass any team off the pitch" mentality which doesn't always pay off.
