IF Arshavin is sold back to Zenit or to Juve, I expect Wenger to sign Honda. Wenger is a classical manager who pays homage to where he's been. Listen to the way he speaks about PSG and Straousborg. He has already mentioned his admiration for Honda, and Honda is looking for clubs and isn't cup tied. Wenger is always very coy before making a major move, and the selling of Arshavin would be. He has backed Arshavin and thus maintained his price. Also, Wenger knows Honda, with a few yrs at Arsenal, would be worth 30-40million entering his prime. Right about when Hazard is ready to dominate at 23, like Samir right now. This is how Wenger works.

I know for a fact that Wenger enquired over a week ago about Robert Huth but was told he was not for sale in Jan, apparently his only other interest is Upson but West Ham are reluctant to let him go until they get someone in(He is playing at left back at the moment cos they are so short).Unless the Huth situation changes, which i don't think it will, Upson will sign just before the deadline. .

20 mill for Cahill in my opinion is a bad deal. Also Wenger would't pay that much for him. Incosistent and at times lacks awareness. If anything i would rather pa 24 million and get Ramos from Madrid as hes unhappy much better deal younger can play right back and centre back. keep fabregas a bit more happy. Obviously this is all hypothetical as Wenger wouldn't do that. Still think we should sign Richards, the guys huge and again is versatile, Also young.

Arsenal to make a 8 million bid for johnny heitinga. may be rejected but he completely fits the bill and is now wengers preffered choice over cahill, samba and dunne. he isn't too old but is experienced at the highest level in european football as he has played for ajax and atletico. he also has prem experience and has layed with TV before at ajax and is friends with RVP from the national team. he can also act as cover at right back and DM as well as centre back and everton need the money.

Does that mean that Cahill is now available as Bolton have a replacement. I have noticed that Vela hasn't gone out on loan yet, could this be because he is part of the deal to bring Cahill to the Emirates?
