Arsenal plot 10m bid for Scott Dan (Caught offside)

I think caught offside are making stories up.

I have also heard the mcgugan story, it has only come about since they have enquired about armand traore. Don't no much about the boy but his goals on YouTube are just ridiculous

I know every club in the prem seems to be interested in him but wenger looking at Nottingham forest superstar Lewis mcgugan. Forest have said unwilling to sell and have rejected bids from Newcastle wolves stoke and villa but obviously arsenal is a different story.

Believable4 Unbelievable13

Poor player
No where near good enough for Arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Lewis mcgugan on his way to us I have family in Nottingham they say he is a real talent

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor player - start watching football mAte when rambo was at forest mcgugan made him look silly. He is to good for arsenal he deserves trophies

Agree0 Disagree0

Start watching football-you watch forest....enough said
Mcgugan is pony, full stop.
Good luck in the play offs....again

Agree0 Disagree0

But obviously arsenal is a different story? very arrogant typical gooner thinkin yas are different classes den fallin apart mid season

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes i watch forest - 2 champions leagues mate, how many have arsenal got? no back bone in your team never will be, full of pansy boys even clichy said so

Brought u dis story b4 n it's back again>>>
Arsene Wenger is set to press ahead with his currently transfer policy and land FC Copenhagen centre-back Mathias Jorgensen in a £5 million deal. The move will end speculation that Wenger has been eyeing up a big-money move for either Blackburn's Christopher Samba or Bolton's Gary Cahill.
BOSSARSENAL

Believable12 Unbelievable16

Not likely at all considering the fact, that he was just made captain in FC Copenhagen. Has recently stated that he intents to stay the last year of his contract, and that PSV allegedly had a similar bid rejected.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mathias (21, homegrown) has just been named captain by Copenhagens new manager, so i don't think he is about to be unloaded at the moment.

Can people please stop posting about Hazard to Arsenal this summer? It's not going to happen, both Lille and Arsenal have made that clear. Lille said he's untransferable and therefore Arsenal OPTED for Gervinho. Also anybody who says that deals are '99% complete' or words to that effect are wrong, as Gazidis has said transfers are being done behind closed doors. I'm aware that reports of Ribery being in advanced talks have surfaced, but in all honesty I doubt that's true considering the magnitude of the transfer, the fee and the general likelihood.

Believable19 Unbelievable2

I see what your saying BUT in all fairness now arsenal have been pretty good at keeping deals under wraps UNTIL they have got to advanced or final stages.

{Ed022's Note - See Joel Campbell as a recent example. He was due for talks etc and that came out...}

Agree0 Disagree0

FOUR WEEKS AGO I PUT APOST ON HERE ABOUT RIBERY AND CAHILL COMING TO ARSENAL FROM A THIRD PARTY WHO TOL ME ABOUT THE JOHN TERRY SAGA 4 WEEKS BEFORE IT COME TO LIGHT.NO MENTION OF RIBERY IN THE MEDIA UNTIL TODAY.THIS MAY OR MAY NOT HAPPEN, BUT BELIEVE ME IM NOT MAKING THIS UP.....SO WE SHALL SEE.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally, I don't read into any rumours from the papers. I'll only even consider buying into a report once it's been cited on either BBC Sport or is an official story on News.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh, thing is, cambell was costing 900.000 and he ended up turning us down to play u20 world cup. ribery has come out and said how happy he is to be at munich, he hasnt said anything about arsenal. this is a pure fabrication

so far ive heard rumours around Ribery, Hazard, Mata, pjanic and cahill which i think would ALL be excellent signings i really hope that somthing might come of those 5 names with arsenal. ive heard about melo but to be fair from what ive seen of him i think he would be a waste of cash what do you think ed and do you really beleive that any of those names mentioned will become arsenal players?

{Ed022's Note - Personally, and this is only MY opinion. I don't rate Melo at all. Can't see what all the fuss is about. Rate the others but can only see one of them coming...}

Doesnt matter who Arsenal sign or sell or where we finish in the league, Arsenal will always be the moral champions in football. We have class no other club can buy it.

Kenyan Joe, a true gooner since 2001

{Ed022's Note - Moral Champions as well as Emirates Cup champions..next... THE WORLD!!!}

Believable22 Unbelievable9

Mate id prefer a little sacrifice at times for a couple more trophies per year, been a gunner since 1993 when i was old enough to choose my own team
BD

{Ed022's Note - I too have been a Gooner since 1993! I too would love a trophy or two, or nine!}

Agree0 Disagree0

I would prefer to be the European and English champions in football, and eyah of course the Emirate ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Some trophies would be fantastic, but I agree. I don't want to see it happen w/ a squad of hired guns like Madrid, Chelsea, or Man City. Obviously, a couple new signings are required, but the overhaul people are asking for is ridiculous.

Agree0 Disagree0

SPOT ON MATE, THE ONLY TEAM THAT BEGINS WITH ......THE......THEN ARSENAL, NOT THE LIVERPOOL, NOT THE MAN UTD, THE ONLY TEAM THAT HAS THE QUEEN TO OPEN THE NEW STADIUM...CLASS CANT BE BROUGHT....

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive been a gooner since 74 so know how to enjoy the successful years and bear the barren ones Trouble is Arsene spoiled us and with today's culture it's win or be sacked....luckily a lot of gooners have sense.... It's just a shame that he won't spend a few quid to solve the problems that we all can see..... But it won't stop me shouting myself stupid next season ( which isn't hard)

Agree0 Disagree0

Moral champions?? please its fans like you who keep the club treading water as we are at the moment. wenger and gazidis are crippling our once great team

Trophies r remembered, not how well we played and won nowt

Agree0 Disagree0

If it wasn't for wenger, we wouldn't of hadagreat team Funny how people forget that We were mid-table and going nowwhere fast

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of rubbish I enjoyed watching a real Arsenal team not long ago, we never spent big, we promoted our youngsters and we had a spirit, grit and desire. so what if we won 1-0 all the time we won and so what if we didnt win the league we always gave our best shot, George Graham always said "if I didn't put a trophy on the table every season an underachievement and he won a lot of trophies for us and you know what, it werent that long ago and not a lot has changed, all that has changed is our dependancy on average foreign player, which was liverpools downfall, and an Assistant Manager in Pat Rice who doesnt stand up for himself and say whats wrong with the team, we dont need money we need common sense and the Arsenal way will be back. Mark Hughes for gaffer, Tony Adams for Assistant.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha-Ha It's good to keep a sense of humour. Come on you Gunners

Agree0 Disagree0

"mid table club going nowhere"

let me clear this up for the glory hunters amoung you..

Arsenal Have finished midtable only twice in the past 30 years. 3 if you count way back in the early 80s. in 92/93 we finished 10th, funny that concidering we had won the fa cup + coca cola cup that year hense not being able to do all 3 with a squad that size (we had also won the league twice in the previous 4 years. next was 94/95 i remember this clear as day as were talking to us outside highbury beofre we played Man City about George Grahams departure due to alledged bungs. Stewert Houston took over bad year 2 managers 12th. GG also delivered us 2 leages, 2 league cups, an fa cup, cup winers cup and cup winners cup final. arturo vidal to juve almost done...£11m is the deal being done...another 1 tht wenger lets go...

Believable14 Unbelievable6

Haha I guess you posters from LeG have too much time on your hands and need to spread your anti-Wenger venom to as many sites as possible, huh? I'm sure Arturo Vidal was top of your transfer list before any news outlet or website even had him linked with Arsenal, right? I mean, surely you've been jonesing for him to join the Gunners for years... GMAFB

Agree0 Disagree0

Arturo Vidal plays for leverkusen NOT juventus

Ed, is there any indication that the rumours saying Frank Ribery is in advanced talks with arsenal are true?
YoungGunner {Ed002's Note - I answered this a little earlier citing transfer fee, wages, injury issues, unresolved other issue as reason for it being unlikely in my view.}

Believable13 Unbelievable7

RIBERY NO WAY you having a laugh, way over rated and unprofesional into the bargain, if that where to happen id throw the towel in now
trev the gooner

{Ed022's Note - He does come with some considerable baggage...and its not the Louis Vuitton kind...}

Agree0 Disagree0

The fact he is injury prone is what makes me believe this more than I should

{Ed022's Note - Because he's injury prone you believe we'l sign him? If this was the case why didn't we sign Woodgate and Hargreaves and give Darren Anderton a coaching position??}

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jul 2011 15:02:49
Yo Ed just wondering what your thoughts on this sudden emergence of talk surround arsenal and franck ribery? personally i think it would be a cracking transfer the guy has shown his class over the years and i think slowly becoming "forgotten" throughout europe now would be a good reason to move and get his name back up in lights again {Ed002's Note - I answered this a little earlier citing transfer fee, wages, injury issues, unresolved other issue as reason for it being unlikely in my view.}

Believable6 Unbelievable5

I agree with the ED here, especially the seamstress issue.

20 Jul 2011 14:46:05
Would it be fair to say that we can put the Melo saga to bed? He has stated today or sometime that his move to Sao Paolo has fallen through because a European club offered him substantially more in wages - which means surely that 1) it wasn't arsenal, and 2) we don't want that kind of joker anyway?

arsenal are looking to finalise a deal for mata believed to be for a fee of 20mil.
fabregas will be sold and replaced with hazard, who im told may be loaned back until january to soften the deal but not likely as wenger is a huge admirer. an offer of 20mil plus diaby is goin to be offered.
cahill will sign for 12.5mil plus miquel(loan) and lansbury.
there will also be a young ST signed aswell as LB depending on the situation of traore and gibbs(if they stay or not).
that will complete the spending for the summer with departures of eboue(turkish team), diaby(lille), denilson(sao paolo), bendtner(hamburg), squallacci(french team), arshavin(russia or turkey)
INs: mata 20mil, hazard 20mil, cahill 12.5mil, ST ?, LB ?
OUTs: bendtner 9mil, diaby swap, denilson loan, traore/gibbs loan(most likely traore), eboue 5.5mil, squallacci 2mil, fabregas 35mil, arshavin 10mil+

SQUAD:
GKs- schezny, fabianski, manonne
DEFs-sagna, jenkinson, cahill, vermaelen, djourou, koscielny, gibbs, traore/?
MIDs- nasri, song, wilshere, ramsey, frimpong,
Wingers- hazard, gervinho, mata, miyaichi.
For- v.persie, chamakh, vela, walcott .

i was told that of these deals mata and cahill are certain. hazard will depend upon fabregas and arshavin situation

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Arshivin off then yeah.....even tho wenger has already said he wants to keep him? Love to know where you hear all this. Don't tell me.........u r wengers cousin? Find something better to do with ur time....u obviously have plenty of it

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said the person above me.

I for one am getting sick and tired of reading posts like this, just as I'm sure the Eds are getting sick and tired of having to read all the way through them before finally putting them up. This is nothing but a shoddy round up of all the SPEC and no truth of the last month and a half, seemingly filtered to suit your post. What part of your brain makes you think that Lille would sell us the best two parts of their strike force that won them the league? And why would we sell Arshavin? Let me guess we're signing Cahill Samba Vertongen Subotic Cissoko Mertesacker anyone I've missed? Sorry to be an arse about it but I am truly fed up with reading this stuff.

Arsenal are planning to offer Samir Nasri a £6m-a-year deal in a last-ditch bid to keep him. (Daily Star)and Arsenal have set Barcelona a deadline of the end of next week to sign Cesc Fabregas or forget the deal (Guardian)

Believable15 Unbelievable1

If its in the star then it must be true. im sure a five year old writes that paper

COBBLERS-GOONER........ Rumour has it that Sanchez is at the New Camp having a medical ?? If this is true, does it mean Cesc is staying, or as Pep said (and i quote News), "we have money set aside for the Cesc deal"...... I have also heard that Gary Cahill will be at Colney for his medical tomorrow ?? Ed..... you heard anything about these medicals ???

{Ed022's Note - The exact words were "There's money in the box set aside for Fabregas, we'll fight to get him..." Apparently there is money is Arsenal's transfer box but the hard part is getting past the security guards, through the infrared lasers, underneath the security camera without being spotted, around the barb wire and then have the 9 digit code to unlock it...}

Believable5 Unbelievable4

Cobblers Gooner, where are you getting your info....whos your source...anybody can copy and paste stuff they find on the internet..blah blah blah blah blah.

What gives you the right to criticise people for posting rumours and slating them for it when you are at the exact same thing.

Sources in both Bavaria and London on Wednesday are suggesting that Arsenal are in advanced talks with Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery in a move that could cost the North London club £22m.

This will be enough for Nasri to reconsider i feel plus there will be 1 or 2 other quality signings to keep us challenging on all fronts.

Bangkok Gooner

Believable8 Unbelievable14

Rumours say they have enquired about him no advanced talks but Arsenal have enquired about every player on the planet according to rumours. Hes very injury prone not sure if hes the right signing for the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather go for Honda of gourcuff

Agree0 Disagree0

Am I the only one thinking Nasri = (pretty much) Ribery, they're almost the same player. I think Mata would be better as he is less injury prone.

I would prefer hazzad for that money

Arsenal to make a serious offer for Micah Richards before the Emirates Cup, with the transfer going thru smoothly as City will be back from tour and focusing on The Charity Shield with a first team already determined for the EPL (SOURCE, A 1st YEAR SCHOLLAR AT HALE END)

Cahill's price is off putting and he will arrive next summer on a free, Coyle keeps his star asset for another season with Miquel playing with him all season. The idea behind that is Richards (an openly AFC fan) arrives and partners TV5 with Kos and Bartley as backup, Squillachi moves to 6th choice behind Djourou, AW has time to offload the 5/6th choices and assess Kos properly leaving us with and CB group in 12/13 of TV5, Cahill, Richards, Bartley & Miquel.

IT'SUPFORGRABSNOW_89

Believable7 Unbelievable21

Thought Richards had just signed a 5 yr contract? And why would he want to leave City for us?

Agree0 Disagree0

If AW had wanted Micah Richards he could have got him when he was out of favour and as part of the deals that took Toure and Adebayor to Man City

Agree0 Disagree0

So coyle is ready to risk losing 17m on him and lose him on a free yeah cant see that happening.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ksocielny played 40+ matches for Arsenal last season. Surely that's time enough for a "proper assessment" of him. Kos isn't going anywhere in the near future.

Agree0 Disagree0

Indeed. No chance of richards coming, no chance at all.

D

Agree0 Disagree0

Some people will believe anything

Agree0 Disagree0

Im only passing on what has been buzzing around the academy, im not at the academy i just talk regualy to to someone who is, believe it or not im not trying to defend my comments or am i being adament that it will happen. it is just a rumour which I am passing on. Richards is an AFC fan and AW was interested in him a few seasons back. This is a rumour page not page that people only post definate occurances on say what you say just what is actually buzzing around Hale End, not what i read in the papers and claim as my source.

Agree0 Disagree0

Transfer fee is the golden word here i suppose £12m would secure Richards, Cahill on a free sounds like a Wenger plan, across the back he would have created a brand new good looking back line

RB - Sagna / Jenkinson
LB - Gibbs / Bartley / TV5
CB - TV5 / Richards / Cahill / Bartley / Miguel

very Arsenal back line aswell strong, tough tackling and quick.

Agree0 Disagree0

And I though I was fantasising when I wanted Cahill, Samba, Enrique & Melo

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant actually believe the cheek of you lot i pass on a rumour, dont guarentee anything or state cold hard facts I just passed on what has been buzzing around the AFC kids. Cahill aint going nowhere and people aint paying the 17m+ coyle wants for him, he wont sign a new deal and will come next season. I was suprised to hear Richards name aswell but who knows who we are looking at if anyone. All I know from what I have heard is that Richards, Cahill, Dann are being looked at whether he moves diferent story. TELL YA WHAT NEXT TIME SOMEONE INVOLVED IN THE PLAYING STAFF AT ARSENAL TELLS ME SOMETHING I WONT EVEN POST IT YOU ALL BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT TO BELIEVE AND TRUST ME MELO AINT COMIN NOR IS SAKTO, VERTORGEN, VAN DER VIEL ETC. I WAS BORN AND BROUGHT UP IN HOLLOWAY AND HAVE SEEN KIDS BE PICKED UP BY ARSENAL SCOUTS FROM SUNDAY LEAGUE AND SCHOOL SO FOR YOU LOT TO PREACH TO ME ABOUT SOURCES MAKES ME LAUGH.

Ed . As a Rangers fan and as we struggle to complete any transfers , is there any word down there about the boy Bartley coming back up on loan ? {Ed002's Note - It is most unlikely, sorry.}

Believable7 Unbelievable4

COBBLERS-GOONER....... Unfortunately for you guys, i think Kyle will be used as a 4th choice CB this season at the Emirates, after impressing last season in Scotland. He will be ahead of Scillaci in the pecking order, although this could all change if, and rumour has it, Gary Cahill comes to town, then there might be a chance you could have hime back.....

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jul 2011 12:26:13
Question for everyone, including Eds in the know (not Eds who aren't Arsenal fans please, no offence).

Is Kyle Bartley coming back? I did not see him but I heard he was fantastic in Scotland last season, and by all the reports I've been reading he sounds like part of the missing link in our back 4. Can anyone give me any concrete word about him? And do you think he would be good for us? I think it would be strange if Wenger were to be happy to rely on Gibbs (good but weak) and Traore (rubbish) at LB but then NOT be happy to try Bartley out.

All news and thought welcome Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - No offence taken, I'll keep the answer to myself.}

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Haha brilliantly played.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry mate, Rangers fans will tell you he did well but as a Celtic fan I'll tell you all now, he's not anywhere near good enough for Arsenal. He got torn to pieces in Old Firm games, and I'm sure you'll all say SPL is rubbish etc... and to a degree it is, but if he can't cut it against Celtic imagine how he'd play against Man Utd, Chelsea, or worse, Barca??

Shaunybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw a couple of his games on tele, looked average, . certainly nothing to make me think we have a first teamer on our hands. That said, he has the attributes, height and strength, so not impossible for him to develop

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm an Rangers and Arsenal fan, and this one divides me As much as I'd love to see him back at Ibrox, Wenger would be crazy to let him go. He is an absolute beast of a guy Fantastic attitude, passionate, loves to get stuck in, and has tremendous ability. He would waltz into the heart of the Arsenal defence, and the only reason he'd look out of place, is because he CAN defend Would be a brilliant partner for TV. Yes he is still a little raw, but he is so significantly better than the other central defenders, TV aside, he simply cannot be allowed to go on loan again. If his career progresses as I believe it can, we have an Arsenal great in the making. One last point. I've read bits and pieces on here re Jelavic. He would win Arsenal the league. That good.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002 I couldnt stop laughing when I see your answer, he definitely asked for that one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha yeah it made me laugh, hence I said well played I asked for that I think I have my answer, thanks all. The answer is some people think he'd cut it, others don't, not the resounding 'yes' I was hoping for but hey.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol tell ya what Shaunyboy, Celtic couldn't win the league against a team who were in turmoil and with a skeleton squad, bartley played about 5 games for rangers, that's 5 first class first team games he needs to learn the hard way like Gibbs did against Man U to improve and improve he will I guarantee.

North Bank Elite

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger wants to check him out in Germany before he dicides whether to send him back on loan or keep him, this is also why we havent bought a centre back yet. Wenger as ever is reluctant to put his hand in his pocket n would rather promote a youngster who would take a few seasons to really adapt

Why ribery? why benzema? So we will be selling arguably stat wise the best midfielder in the world and replace him with one winger and one central player? Maybe wenger has lost it...

SO Gervinho, Arshavin, Ribery and walcott as wingers? Then Persie and Benzema, chamakh, vela as strikers?

Thats alot of firepower on the bench unless arsene wants 11 forwards on the pitch...like argentina love doing...you can see their trophies lineup since 1992.

They selling arshavin replacing him with ribery, selling bendtner replacing him with benzema

Agree0 Disagree0

I am willing to put money on Arshavin staying. I am also willing to put money on Cahill costing more than 14m + Miquel on loan. Especially seeing as Miquel on loan to Bolton was being discussed a long time ago as a separate entity entirely.

If we sign Ribery which I hope not, we deffo won't sign Benzema.

All in all I guess I don't agree with your post at all, will be interesting to see what happens. Turn the caps lock off though mate, it doesn't make you any more believable

Reliable gooner, stop trying to get all us arsenal fans excited for nothing, that's what our team did last season

Agree0 Disagree0

COBBLERS-GOONER....... another one picking bits from the press and other web-sites....... SHUT UP person

Agree0 Disagree0

Although i dont doubt their technical prowess and footballing ability, could you possibly pick two players that have any more scandal attached to their names Would AW really want to appease arsenal fans after six trophyless seasons by acquiring alleged "child sex offenders" which is not frivilous, outlandish slander by myself on these two players, as it has been well documented. I know there french but i would still be amazed to see a man of AW's calibre bring them to london......Also in a secondary point i see too many gooners praying that Fab and Nasri stay whereas i look at it as if a players heart is elsewhere or they are that hungry for and extra 10k a week, cash in on them and buy quality that actually want to put on the shirt. Would you really be happy to see them stay because a deal couldnt be done and then pledge there future (until Jan) and start kissing the badge and making heart shapes with their hands and directing it to the fans (basically lieing to you all), also theres also the negative effect it has in the dressing room and throughout the club to consider. Im a utd fan and when the ronaldo saga had bored everyone to the core i couldnt wait to get rid of him and move on (like a breakup, kick them to the curb and jump straight on the next b*tch) No player is ever bigger than the club, or its loyal fanbase.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we get rid of Arshavin, 10 gaols and 17 assists last season, but sure you knoew that.... I am sick of people complaining about him...

{Ed022's Note - Agreed. Good impact player, adds experience and can win matches if hes in the mood. Definitely a keepr for one more season at least.}

What is your source for this one ? can't seem to find anything on it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Where will he fit? Surely this is only a runner if Nasri is out the gate to City? Unless Fab leaves, Nasri moves centrally (don't think Wenger sees him there as used him sparingly in that role last year even when Fab was out)...even then 20+ mill on a 28 year old on huge wages and injury prone does not make much sense?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ribery RVP Walcott
Nasri
Wilshere Song

come on as if that doesn't make you wet.

Agree0 Disagree0

His source is football transfer league, who's sources are all the stories in the papers compiled first thing that day. This is a non story sorry mate, update your sources and give us something we can't find for ourselves by typing 'f' then 'down' then 'enter' in one second on the address bar.

On a side note, why would we want Ribery? He scores on average less than one goal every 4 games. May as well Keep Bendtner if we're going to sign Ribery.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is going to pay his wages ? he is one of the six highest paid footballers on the planet. borrocks

Agree0 Disagree0

Once again, I mentioned the Ribery story months back. I also mentioned it yesterday before anything was anywhere near the papers or forums. Why is it that when I tell you info I have that it appears in the paper the next day, yet you accuse me of taking it from the paper.

My source is not the daily mirror. i live in Ireland and do not not subscribe to your rags of news papers (you know the ones, the ones that hack peoples phones).

I'm telling you what i hear when I hear it first hand.

Ribery and Benzema will sign. Cesc will leave and Nasri will stay. Expect a CB, jagielka and thats the job done. Wenger is bringing back the french connection.

I read a lot of crap on here...but for some reason I believe this guy

Kent Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Ribery Benzema Van Persie

Wilshere Nasri Fabregas

Much better then Barcelona fc attacking =)

Agree0 Disagree0

To be honest i think i believe this guy too, other things he has said seem to be correct and compared to what other people say which is complete rubbish. we can only hope tho.
Any news on oxlaide dublin?

Agree0 Disagree0

Bringing back? what the hell are you talking about it never LEFT. Last season atleast 5 of our starting 11 were french. Btw, I too mentioned ribery joining arsenal in 2008, but that doesnt have any relevance to this current nonsense story - and there was more chance of it happening then, than now.

This story broke yesterday on a different site. It was also published yesterday on BBC Gossip about 10pm i think, but it was online since about 4pm yesterday. I have found online articles.

Agree0 Disagree0

COBBLERS-GOONER....... Kent Gooner, we all read a load of crap on here, thats why we love it so much, but this is the biggest load of crap for a long time.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cobblers Gooner. Why don't you run along and voice your negative opinions elsewhere. All you do is give out, moan and criticse what other people have to say. Seriously mate, pack your bags and f off like Denilson or actually contribute something worthwhile to the site.

Dublin Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Look Dublin Gooner stop talkin rubbish cause we know Wenger will not sign a named player Especially one that costs over 15million I hope your bit did come true but no hope for Arsenal this year gettin any of those signings Watch this space

Agree0 Disagree0

From what ive heard... bayern are looking to offload him, but is wenger seriously prepared to pay 22m for a player who has not only been out of form, but also injured?

theres no denying if we could get him and he could find the form that he was producing before all the scandal stories... then theres no doubt that with a solid cb added, we could quite easily compete for the title..

As for a new striker, I cant see us signing benzema as I think theo will be used more centrally and gervinhio will be played on the right, where he excelled for lille.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why can't we just be one big happy Gooner family :(

{Ed022's Note - I think we should have an intervention. Dublin Gooner, I apologise if I offended you. I am however here to provide a factual, funny or blunt response to all posts I read. Nothing is meant as disrespectful. Merely sarcasm in the majority of cases. I extend the olive branch to you in the hope of repairing the London to Dublin relations...}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, I am form Dublin and i aint Dublin Gooner, dont worry your welcome in Dublin still... Haha

{Ed022's Note - Thats good, glad I am still welcome to sink a pint of Guinness on Grafton Street...}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed you are as welcome in Dublin as Frank Ribery is in Arsenal Im sorry if I got over sensitive. That cobblers gooner is really grinding my gears Its a rumour site yet he takes everything to heart.

Ive got a huge bit of transfer info that I will post on the site later.

Friends?

After Benzema confirmed he will be staying at Real Madrid, Wenger turned his attention to Soldado of Valencia. Very good finisher, quick, great header...wuld be a fantastic addition

Believable8 Unbelievable18

Where do people get their info from.....tut

Agree0 Disagree0

Football Manager i think, most the players we get linked with here bar the obvious class acts of course are all generally quality in Football Manager ha, just a thought

Agree0 Disagree0

We will not sign any more out and out strikers. walcott will play through the middle then we have M.C vela RVP and gervinho who can play there but is more of a winger. we are more likely to sign wingers, hopefully mata but still cant see it unfortunately.

arsenal are in advanced talks with Munich for Ribery? holy s**t

Believable21 Unbelievable22

I know just heard about that as well. But find it heard to believe, really? Can anyone see Ribery joining for real? I guess this means mata is a no go? Or is Ribbery a smoke screen, while they pursue other players ? hmm.
London Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure bendtner will be part of this deal. He's far to big-headed to go to any of the other teams that have been linked.

I reckon bendtner + 8-12m

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow awesome signing if it comes off.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just like Wenger had the opportunity to sign Drogba and Ronaldo - b4 they joined chelsea/utd he also couldve bought

Agree0 Disagree0

Or does it mean that that there's some truth to Dublin Gooner's tale??

Agree0 Disagree0

My old man follows German football, and he thinks Ribery is not the answer to Arsenals problems, he has spent most of the last two seasons out injured, so will slot in nicely with Rosiscy and the rest of the sick notes. He laughed when we singed Rosiscy as he was allways injured when playing in Germany.

Agree0 Disagree0

Source of this info?? I thought Arsenal should have bought Ribery a few years ago. Might actually do well but I cant see this happening. Hopefully i'm wrong :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Its also on the bayern forum-bayern talk website-advanced talks of the sale of ribery

Agree0 Disagree0

There will be a few professional girls keenly awaiting his arrival.

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL - i forgot about the pro girls. Maybe he can meet up with Rooney

Agree0 Disagree0

Just read a report on Riberys interview in german Bild, where he stated that he is pleased with their new manager as he (manager) gives him (will give him) a lot of freedom on the pitch. He also stated the he cant wait for the next season as he thinks that with new manager and with freedom he gives him (tryin impossible passes and driblles) he can be just as good as L. Messi is.

Having in mind this interview this roumor becomes a little bit dodgy...any thoughts?

Greetings from Sarajevo

Agree0 Disagree0

I have checked up on his stats and his BEST form is scoring one goal every four and a bit games. Sorry but we need strikers who are at least scoring every 3 games.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not a striker, he's a winger, therefore 1 goal every four games is a pretty good return..

Id love to see ribery benzema and cahill...

i think fabregas will go, hopefully wekeep nasri
