Hoilett's just scored a sweet volley of a GK's punch off a throw in, nice! Deffo worth grabbing on a free this guy, deffo....

Believable24 Unbelievable4

Hes under 21 so wud have to pay a fee around 6 mil for him

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? I thought a free TF was a free TF? {Ed002's Note - The rule is under 23 and it would be nothing like £6M in compensation.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he is out of contract in the summer so only wages to worry about I reckon 60k a week would secure him. I said from early the guy was sick and should be looked at as a cheap alternative. I think he will be attracting the attention of a lot of big clubs. A lot of media people however saying he would be a perfect fit for the arsenal. Fingers crossed.

In Arsene I Trust.

Does anyone actually know how the 2012-13 home and away kit is going to look like?

I've seen the rumored photos.. but can someone amongst the many who claim to be in the know tell me for sure?

P.S - Nice way to prove that you are reliable if you're right.

Unfortunatly mate, there's no guaranteed way to know what it is till they put it on arsenal.com, honestly mate no matter if a rumour is in EVERY website in on the net three times (I like to exaggerate) still don't believe it till you see it on arsenal.com

Mate these were showcased at some random event in Europe, and they are quite frankly VILE. Ours, the Man U and the Barca ones were all pure and utter sh*t.

At what point has anyone EVER expressed an interest in having black armbands on our kit? It looked like a Man U shirt that never made it and everyone I have spoken to, as well as well everyone Le Grove, detested it.

If you have seen the pics (not the drawings) then you have seen all there is to see as far as I know and there is no away kit to look at yet I don't think.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah. I knew the home kit was too Man Utd to be true.. The rumoured away kit has maroon and black horizontal stripes, which again looks shady.

It's the impatience getting the better of me.

But do post incase something that comes close to credible surfaces..

Thanks,

I've been keen to find out too, I've only seen 1) a really poor drawing of what it might look like with the black armbands, and 2) the real version of that alongside the new Man U kit and the new Barca kit. It looked pretty gross with the black band around the arm I think. Soon as I hear about anything else I'll let you know but so far I don't know about any away kit stuff so maybe you know more than me mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently its navy blue.. not black. I just hope that isn't our home jersey.. The designers can do much much better.!

Hope Arteta gets the classy reception I think he'll get tomorrow. Everton fans are class most of the time, I watch a lot to keep an eye on my boy Timmy Howard, the most underrated rockstar GK in the world....

Arteta clearly loves Everton, and I think they'll show they love him back

To be honest mate he'll probably get the odd boo, but I expect the majority of toffee's fans to respect him, Arteta gave his effort while he was there and they got £10m for a player who's almost thirty

i was talking to a mate who knows quite a bit about the german lad EISFELD and he says before his injury he was better than GOETZE and thinks we have got the deals of all deals when we signed him for a half a million euros!

I'm not saying your mate is a liar, just that he's off the mark.

Eisfield may be a good player in the future, he may also be another amaury buschoff, in the Dortmund youth set up, he was considered a rival to Goetze in the way of talent, but then Mario became top dog and Thomas sort of dropped off, all before his injury, now just say he was still in Dortmund, he'd have Goetze, kagawa and gundogan all ahead of him, before he even gets to see a team sheet, now look at our midfield and he's got song, wilshere, Arteta, ramsey, frimpong, coquelin, Diaby and the returning Lansbury and denilson ALL ahead of him.

He's a typical wenger gamble admittedly but seen as he was nurtured alongside Goetze, I think he's brought in to make Mario more comfortable moving here and if he turns good then win! If not then for £500k we can flog him for similar amounts.

Anyone know how/if he has been playing for the reserves or youth? (not sure which squad he has been placed in)

M.c I hope your mate is right mate Sydney Gooner

Wenger takes a gamble on some reasonably priced players. You only need one to suceed to make the investments pay off.

Agree0 Disagree0

He made his debut against Swansea on the 1st Feb. Played 45 minutes and set up the first goal for Ansah who followed up on his shot. Nothing seen of him since so presume he has had an injury. Thought he might have been in for a shout verse WBA last week but nothing (although that side did have 4 first teamers playing.) Lets see if he gets a shout tonight but I doubt it!
