Giroud apparently has come out and said he desperately wants wenger to sign a new contract to carry on the adventure and the players do as well. Its just a pity he and his pals aren't showing it instead of ( as usual ) just saying it. Lots of talk and no action from the club and its officials this season.

I think he wants Wenger to sign so he won't be sold, Arsene is far to loyal to players who aren't capable of winning the league.

Of course he wants Wenger to stay, no other manager would pick him over Perez!

Maybe we need to drop out of the top 6 to allow the club to regroup and rebuild.
No CL and no Europa spots. Even if Wenger stays we can concentrate on the Premier League.

The board will then see the situation that's been created and pull their fingers out and pump some serious transfer money in the kitty. We probably needed this kick up the backside to get us back on track for the future.

So maybe this is probably the best thing that could of happened to us for quite a few years. We have been riding our luck since we moved into the new stadium what with one thing or another. Look! we are not going to drop into the Championship league so how bad is this going to get?

It's going to be quite interesting to see us regroup and regrow. Whether Wenger stays or goes I have now succumbed to it all and I am now looking forward to hopefully seeing a new and improved Arsenal in the next couple of seasons.

Slagging the club off just brings us all down let's look at it like a new adventure with no pressure. We were never going to win the CL in a month of Sunday's the way we have been over the last few years. So in my opinion this is a perfect way for us to get our house back in order.

If wenger stays to rebuild then he will have my backing and regardless of what's going on he is still an excellent manager. A lot of huge clubs will be after him. That being said unfortunately it's far too late to get everyone behind him. There's some that will. Some that will try but can't see it working. There's some that have given up hope and sadly a growing miniority that want him to fail.

The saying you can't teach an old dog new tricks is 100% the reason it would be a mistake to keep wenger on. His time was years ago and his tricks today are not as good. We will not get anywhere with a 2005 vauxall corsa with a new paint job. It needs trading in to get with the times.

I really don't buy into this 'teach them a lesson' theory. If we drop out of the top 4 then there'll be less money to put back into the squad, and we won't be able to offer Champs League to players. I also don't see how any true fan can subscribe to losing games and finishing as low as possible. that's the exact opposite of being a supporter or a fan. Plus, Kroenke would never get rid of AW anyway, so why are people wishing for us to do badly? It's moronic.

Skywalker you seem a bit confused mate. Nobody's saying
'Teach them a lesson'' at all. ! What I was saying was we need to get real we are not going to win the Champions league with the squad we have so this may be the perfect time for us to get our heads together with no pressure.

As far as losing money in the Champions League although the money is 'handy' I'm afraid it's how it is we will have to do without it and make it up in the premier league. Do you honestly believe we can keep hobbling along like we are. Do you think we are going to attract top players the way we are going on?

It doesn't matter to me whether Wenger stays or goes to be honest the fact is we need a reshuffle simple as! . By the way nobody is subscribing to 'losing games' as you put it. As far as Kroenke is concerned do you honestly think he is going to wake up one morning and say " That's it I'm off " Get real!

Nobody is really hating Wenger they are hating the fact that for the last 12 or so years we have made no improvements on the pitch it's the same old story. So they are hoping that a change of manager MAY BE the best thing. Nobody knows for sure what will happen if he goes.

I said at the beginning of the season on this site that I reckoned Wenger would spend 100 million and probably sign an extension at the end of it. You can check if you like and I was nearly there on the transfer budget bar 1-2 million and I'm pretty sure he will stay. So if he stays we lose players I'm sure of that, if he goes we lose players I'm sure of that too.

There is money to put into the pot don't you kid yourself. But it needs a reason for it to come out of its hiding place and dropping out of the top 6 might just be the jolt we need. You need to get real mate sorry.

Missing out on top 4 would without a doubt make them think. If the stock falls this concerns stan.
