Genuine interest from both parties - Rooney and AFC. Good source from Rooney's side has said it is between AFC and Utd unless a stupid offer comes in from elsewhere. It's a big decision to leave and it changes by the day.
Not much info I know but I don't post rumours unless I feel good about it.
Last one was months ago on the chosen one after Terry told a friend he was returning
Nice to see us linked with spending this type of money and fingers crossed something happens. I would rather have Higuain to be honest as Rooney's lifestyle will impact his playing career

Why would we need to sign Rooney, pesonally, I think this rumour is a load of rubbish. We'll end up with too many strikers and a big hole in the wage budget. Hopefully a new RB, with any luck.

Usmanov favourite football player is wayne rooney and usmanov has told wenger if he is serious about wanting rooney the he will personally bankroll the funds for this transfer to happen. Wenger has a good relationship with david moyes has asked if rooney does come available then to let them know. At this time no bid has or is likely to be made and will not be made unless rooney becomes available.

Agree0 Disagree1

You can have Rooney. But can you break your wage bill and pay him 250k a week like we are?

Agree2 Disagree1

We will never pay the wages he is on so why talk nonsense. plus would you leave a club who challenge every year for trophys to one thta celebrates coming 4th like its a massive acheivement?

Agree0 Disagree0

Usmanov i'm guessing can't just bank roll for rooney am sure there are rules stopping that kind of thing

Agree1 Disagree0

My mate who was in tesco last week and seen wenger buyin some grapes asked wenger about transfers so wenger quietly handed him a bit of paper and all that was written on it was buy rooney and grapes

Agree4 Disagree0

A friend of mine has several mutual friends of Rooney and he had told me for weeks that he will see out his contract and then go back to Everton. He is quite open about it apparently so I can't see us getting him. Scott

Agree0 Disagree1

Regarding the pay raised by the United fan above, the offer would apparently be 170k/week plus a £4m signing on fee. This will equate to around £230/week equivalent.

Agree0 Disagree0

I did hear Wenger was going to buy grapes again for Diaby. Could be true.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rooney won't sign for arsenal. Arsenal are being linked for every player on the market within or near there budget. This is because arsenal unlike other clubs keep there transfers close to there chest until everything is completed so they have no other choice than to speculate. I would love to see rooney, fellaini, cavani, higuian, reina, lads bender, fabregas sign for arsenal or at least one of them but its not likely. It's more likely to be someone the press have not even thought about

Fellaini and Higuain 100% completed deals. Arsenal will wait until Rooney has had talks with moyes before they make a move. But the Fellaini and Higuain deal will be announced on 1st July.

Believable71 Unbelievable57

Why can't Fellaini be announced now as he can sign because its a transfer between two epl teams so the transfer window was open after last game was played

Agree0 Disagree0

Higuain is far from completed and Man City are in the hunt for a goal scorer now that they have deemed Cavani to expensive.

Agree0 Disagree1

100% done is a bit over the top bud!

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter rubbish. You may want them to be done deals, but you writing on here doesn't make it so. Medicals always hit the news and neither player has had one yet.

Rumours are that representatives of our beloved Arsenal have hopped on a plane to Madrid to meet with Real representatives. A fee too be agreed by Sunday with conformation coming in the next week. Also, Fellaini is a 50-50, as Everton are looking to milk as many pounds as possible out of our war chest.

Believable44 Unbelievable28

Everton can't milk anything. If his buyout clause states 22 million from a top 4 team, then that's what it will be. Any difficulty would come with personal terms if another club wanted him.
Flybo

Agree1 Disagree1

Nope and nope! Reports everywhere state only a medical is needed both fee and terms agreed with the player and club respectively! And how can Everton hold out for more if the clause in his contract is met? Think before you post.

SxGooner

Agree0 Disagree0

How can they " milk it ", we only have to activate the release clause? Nice try though, really sounded like you were itk there for a second. Willesden Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't be surprised if we have actually offered less than the release clause, and Everton are holding out. would be a typical Arsene approach!

Agree1 Disagree0

Reports may well state that only a medical is needed but those reports all stem from a Daily Fail story that terms and fee had been agreed, other news outlets quoted that story. Not saying that I know or believe it to be untrue, but I'm taking it with more than a pinch of salt.

Agree0 Disagree0

I like the look of Illarameddi from Real Sociedad more than I do Fellaini. Younger and already plays for Spain. would be a briil signing but that's my opinion

Agree0 Disagree0

Ifmyou are reluctant to believe everything about Higuain in the papers, then don't believe everything about Fellaini's contract either. That what I was getting at originally.

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton fan here.
The release fee is £23M and the bidding starts at that price, so if Manchester United bid £24 and City bid £25, who are we going to sell too?

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton fan - That's ridiculous. why would any team bid above the release clause? as soon as the release clause is activated then Fellaini is free to discuss terms with that club. Everton won't have a choice who they sell to

Seen a rumour that Southampton and Cardif are ready to make bids for Victor Wanyama. If true are we not really interested in him any longer.
Andylat

Believable65 Unbelievable10

Rumour down here for last few weeks is that Schneiderlin is going to Arsenal,. Wanayama could be his replacement

Agree0 Disagree1

He is not good enough for Arsenal. It's either Lars Bender or Fellani and possibly Irremendihov Spainish u21 player for Real Socided

Agree2 Disagree1

Wanyama never was an arsenal target I suspect. Agents talking up prices. He is an average player who is no better than what we have in reserve. Simply because he plays in Scotland, for a team who won the league before it started, he looks a star. Never arsenal quality. There was a time when some of the world's best played in Scotland. Gazza, larsson, laudrup, mccoist, etc, but with the demise of Rangers, it makes it impossible to respect anyone playing in that league.

Agree3 Disagree0

Have you seen wanyama play? He is fantastic. I would happily see him at arsenal, he has loads of potential.

Agree2 Disagree1

He is an amazing talent! Just because rangers aren't in the league has nothing to do with respecting his quality! Did you see him against barca? 10 times the talent of song and under Wenger could be as good as viera

Agree1 Disagree1

"He isn't good enough for Arsenal" I assume you're talking about Wanyama and not Schneiderlin as Schniederlin was one of the Premier League's best midfielders of last season as shown in his statistics.

Agree1 Disagree0

Wanyama not good enough seriously? denillson was diaby is and a guy that ripped barca on his own is not good enough Seriously?

Agree0 Disagree0

Schniederlin is NOT going to Arsenal. He wants to play for a team that is improving!

Agree0 Disagree0

Diaby is a better footballer.
Just injury injury prone and that affects his consistency In matches. Schiderlain is a good player yeah. Wanyama is good raw ability but I personally would prefer someone with a bit more to their all round game like Fellani or Lars Bender.

Josh09

Agree0 Disagree0

So the potential signings of Higuain, Fellani and Cesar don't improve Arsenal? He would jump at the chance to player CL
Football.

Schniderlain#

Agree0 Disagree0

Some folk crack me up, the boy Wanyama may not be quite there yet he has the potential to be one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe, 21 years old, built like a tank, he can pass, score and he reads the game very well, some of Europes best were made to look ordinary against him last season. Even if 12mill was spent on him now, Arsenal would easily make a profit if they chose to sell in th future.

Been reading the sun this morning then have we? Meant to be a rumour site not a copy and paste site

Agree2 Disagree2

Correct me if i'm wrong, if its a rumour in the sun newspaper that still make it a rumour does it not?

Agree6 Disagree1

Personally I can't see this happening, I thought the fee was believed to be around £7mil from the rumours I have seen on this.

Either way in a few years this kid is going to be big, a big talented defender. usually when you have to pay fees like that for ages like that then there is a lot of promise to work with. I think it would be a coo if we could get him. if i'm right has he not been called up to the full internationals, just for the experience, or has he made his debut?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not everyone reads (or wants to read) The Sun. So I'm happy for Arsenal transfer gossip reported there, or anywhere else, to be posted on here. I wouldn't have known about this rumour otherwise. DS.
