Latest rumour doing the rounds is that Arturo Vidal is the man who Arsenal want to add steel to their midfield. He is a Chilean defensive midfielder playing for Leverkusen in Germany.

Have any of the Eds heard anything about this?

mhc503 {Ed007's Note - I don't know if Arsenal are in for him, but he is a solid DM who can also play at RB/LB. The only thing "iffy" is that Leverkusen only own 75% of him (or his contract, if you know what I mean) which could cause problems of any transfer}

From the sounds of it Ricky Alvarez is coming to Arsenal from Velez for free. Maybe that's a sign, that Cesc Nasri (although its highly unlikely) or Arshavin is going?
I think this will happen:
Outs:
Denilson 5mil
Squillaci 1.5mil
Almunia 2.5mil
Bendtner 8mil
Cesc 45mil or a p/ex with the likes of Masch Affely Bojan.
Rosicky 6mil


Eboue won't go because he's a useful utility.
Clichy again won't go.
The same with Diaby Nasri Arshavin

As someone has mentioned, Mark Lawrenson has mentioned that the noises he is hearing from within the club are that Arsene won't be making too many changes to the current squad - in his notes on BBC Sports Premier League predictions. So those expecting and hoping for a fire sale should stop dreaming. I think these will probably be similar to the actual in's and out's that happen:

In: Jagielka, Amilfitano, Alvarez and Gameiro.
Out: Almunia, Squillaci, Denilson, Rosicky and Bendtner.

2 paid for players, 2 free = Wenger's style.

Ricky seems to be the real deal been reading alot about him from argentina jerno's in last couple of hours and they reckon he would already be in the national team if it weren't for a bad injury suffered a while back, don't get too excited tho fellow gooners, unless it comes out on arsenal.con I will be sceptical about the move and also it may take him time to settle next season, he has an Italian passport so no special visa needed so if all goes well we could have a very decent player and potential future superstar joining the squad in the summer!
