Anyone else seen what the Metro (the least reliable source, ever, I know) have been saying today?
Apparently Messi was interested in a move to Arsenal. Imagine!

Wenger has rules out signing a striker, great news.
Sooo who do you think we'll get then lads and lasses? Balotelli or Cavani. haha

I'm not saying we will get a striker, but Wenger saying we're not signing one, means absolutely nothing, he loves ruling transfers out before they happen.

I have a feeling any forward signed will either be as a result of a domino effect or very late in the window. also I have a feeling we will sign a forward who can play across the frontline like sanchez. would provide great movement and fluidity to our attacks. a bit like barca when the had henry eto and messi

I don't think we will we've been short of options up front for years abd giroud was paggered last season but sanchez and Walcott can play as the striker so I don't thinks we will I really hope i'm wrong i'm trying to keep a level head as we are normally very poor in the window and struggle to get anyone in we do gace sanchez ozil will be like a new signing

We also have podolski for a striker which none of you mention I think he is a great player always over looked

I very much doubt a striker will be brought in as we have 7 forwards, most teams only operate with 4

Giroud and Campbell will be used as No.9

Alexis, Poldski, Walcott and Garnby on the flanks

Not forgetting Sangoo, who can play both and The OX who can play up front or in midfield

If need be Wiltshire and Ozil can also play the Berkemp No. 10 as well.

I can't wait to see Ozil feeding Alexis, if that works, pressure will be off the rest of the forwards, it will create more chances.

La La Giroud will get his 20 and IF Ramsey continues his form from last season, its looking good for some more silverware this season .
