robert lewandowski and andriy yarmolekno are targets for arsene wenger should rvp leave. THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!

Believable13 Unbelievable13

No way they can be replacements for RVP.

Agree0 Disagree0

They could be as their both relativly unknown

Agree0 Disagree0

Lewandowski isn't going anywhere, but if BvB offered him I'd bite their bloody hand off. He's majestic as a lone forward and underpins their whole play style.

Juventus to bid for Djouru...really?
if true..hope dey also take squillaci n manone..n giv us...chiellini!
how i wish!

Believable9 Unbelievable18

What is ur source

Agree0 Disagree0

Saw it posted on tribalfootball.com

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this is true, i would give djourou away! the guy is worse than useless!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think people forget how well he and Koscielny had been doing for that stretch last year. Maybe it's just because last year was my first actual year of watching football, but he was doing really well. How do you expect a tall CB to do well at RB?

Pakistan AFC

Agree0 Disagree0

I still cannot understand why people lament djourou. seriously can anyone give any evidence of him being this bad? he has actually been pretty good in most games he has played this season. i have seen vermaelen make a lot more mistakes than him. djourou is good backup, stop judging a player on a few poor performances he may have made a couple of years back!

from the last few games it is obvious that we have a a defensive organisation problem. we were atrocious defensively against norwich and wba, even with kosc and vermaelan playing. and koscielny, who is undeniably brilliant, has been involved in all of our heavy defeats this season.

our problems are much more about organisation and tactics than they are about personnel (although i do personally think we should replace santos with someone like vertonghen). djourou is a good backup but plays in a poor defensive system.

Oleg Maputo

Agree0 Disagree0

From @BFairthorne on Twitter: Just come off phone with Djourou's adviser. No truth in Juventus specifically, but "quite likely he will go somewhere this summer." #arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know, i kind of like djourou as a backup

BgdGooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Djourou is useless, runs with his hands behind his back? You won't give a pen away fair enough but come on, you can't run like that

Agree0 Disagree0

So he runs with his hands behind his and is therefore useless?

Is Evra also useless?

It's not like the guy runs with his hands behind his back all the time :/

Agree0 Disagree0

Games which djorou has played resulted is us gaining an average of 2.5 pts (per game) wheras we were 1.5 without him, not sure if that was this season or last, but still pretty impressive :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Djourou's not great, but has abit of pace. Cover is all he's good for. I remember him costing us the points at fulham, after he'd got sent off

Agree0 Disagree0

Djourou is worse than squillaci ive always said that!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do we waste any time on any rumours re players going to Juventus,Inter,Fiorentina or A.C.
They never have any foundation nor ever come to pass. Name 5 EPL players who have gone to Italy in the last 5 years ignoring loans- you would be hard pushed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please let it happen so cruel if it doesn't worst player to wear the shirt of AFC Cygan was better!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

He signed a new deal till 2015 the other month..he is going nowhere! Decent back-up 4th cb for sure! Get off his back! Better than Savic for crying out loud!

Boisey

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this is true - Djourou is Useless.

Agree0 Disagree0

They would never let go of chellini

just caught wind of a Ramsey to Swansea rumour. Not sure if it is on loan or for sale. I'm not really sure what to make of it given the season he has had.

In Wenger I trust. If Ramsey is going to make it then I trust Arsene to see that potential. But if not then I think it is a good idea to move Ramsey on before his reputation gets any worse.

Believable18 Unbelievable9

He has lost his confidence, the best thing could be to move away and be closer to family! We have too many could be players, eventually you have to move them on!

Agree0 Disagree0

Just because he is Welsh doesnt mean he would go to Swansea. The bluebirds wouldnt be happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think AW would move Ramsey permanently that easily. He is part of the Home Grown quota that is becoming pretty hard to fill up. Song is wanting away, We infact do not have a fit half a decent player to fill up that quota ..

Agree0 Disagree0

I will drive him there ASAP!
Poor player

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey is a Cardiff boy. He learnt his trade at Cardiff City FC, there is no way he would even consider playing for The Swans. The rivalry is fierce between those two.

Coity Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Really don't think another loan stint would be good for arsenal.
he needs to ride this out otherwise we might as well just sell him now, which would be wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

Indeed. sell or keep. you cant loan out every player that hasnt made the cut. We already have too many people out on loans, that we need to sell.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol Rambo is Cardiff through and through, a move to Swansea would NEVER happen, for loan or otherwise.

Agree0 Disagree0

Highly doubt it. Ramsey is a Cardiff fan isn't he? Don't think he'd consider going to Swansea.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey is a Cardiff fan so i doubt he would go there. I don't think hes good enough for us and should go, which is a shame. I think he should sue that horrible man Shawcross for ruining his career

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally think AW is playing a dangerous game. I know the transfer window hasnt officially opened yet, and yes were all expecting these new players to come in sooner rather than later BUT, ive got a sneaky feeling AW is going to be trying to unearth a few players at the Euro's, and dare i say it the olympics. All well and good in my opinion except for the fact that if a few of the players shine, AW wants them, its the same old story, AW's value of a player is just that, not a penny/euro more. Other teams seeing their potential/promise also goes in with a higher bid and outbids us. Then we have the painful few days of the transfer market where he sees if any of his Plan B, C, D, E, or even F players are still available AND still within budget. I admire the clubs stance on sustainability, but at some point, if you dont invest you will slip into the shadows, and for a club of ARSENAL'S calibre to do that would be devastating.

N.Wales Gunner

Believable24 Unbelievable4

We have serious lack of ambition. tired of these cheap, unproven people. i want names. heard m'vila is off radar now and a cheaper option is. disgusting as arsenal fans we have to pay the most to goand watch out 'mediocre' team go and play!

Agree0 Disagree0

Where in wales are you m8? And what you said is a fair comment and perfectly describes our laxness in when in the transfer market but hopefully this 'could' be the year it all changes. Podolski, we all have to admit, was a steal and a very unusal move by us considering how we normally are. Either its a ploy to pacify the growing discontentment and to generate season ticket sales or its a sign if change. I'm praying its the latter and we're finally becoming ambitious again. If the clearing out the deadwood stories finally become reality we could tentatively begin getting excited for once.

Another N.Wales Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

I get what your saying but what you have to realize is, that it makes no difference if AW suddenly was prepared over the odds for a player he saw had potential, because the sad truth is we could spend more than we do but we still couldnt survive in a bidding war with the likes of Man C or Chelski if they decided they wanted a player AW had spotted. Yes sometimes he should be a little more flexible but he has now shown that he is prepared to buy players even if they are a little older than his usual preferences (Mr Arteta, who i think was a clever buy) so as long as he continues to do that il be happy! I mean come on, have faith in AW, Man U have to go spend 20 odd mill on a class young keeper, we have a class young keeper who is just as good and what did AW spend........ exactly lol

Breaking News:

Arsenal FC have made and offer of £25million(31million euros) plus park for Eden Hazard

Info is from someone in the accounts department in ashburton grove

seems like Arsenal were the 4th club the Lille president was talking about

Mr Anonymous

Believable20 Unbelievable1

This is a flat out lie...

His agent is in Manchester today.

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

If only!

So wish this was true but I doubt it.

It seems a tad wierd for this news to come out now and not before the question mark over the fouth club was cast.

Ahh well, we can all dream.

Ben X.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal to offer 25M? No way. We'll need to sell a lot of dead wood to be able to afford his wages. We've got 34 players including loanees. We can only have 25. We need to part-exchange players like Chamkh and Park and pay 20-25M to get Hazard!

Agree0 Disagree0

It don't matter if his agent is in Manchester because the transfer fee offer goes to the club nothing to do with his agent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billybob
As much as I don't believe this the offer of the transfer fee goes to Lille not to Eden Hazard's agent so would make no difference where his agent is. If the club accept the offer then we get to talk to the player and agent to make an offer on his contract he would have with Arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

My god i wish this was true. But i highly doubt it....and he would be offered silly wages elsewhere anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Manc City won't pay his wages I doubt that we would,

Agree0 Disagree0

Correction on that - Hazard's agent is actually heading to Amsterdam to deal with Van Der Wiel (likely to extend contract).

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not impossible that we could have bid though unlikely. whatever people say we could amassed that amount of money although i would think city/united/chelsea would trump us in wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

^^ Under 21's don't count, so the likes of Coquelin Wilshere, Miyaichi, Ox, Ramsey? etc.. Don't count.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol dis is not true an even if it was it wunt beat the 35mil offer city wud give or the 30mil bid from utd lets not forget chelsea now... lol throw park n chamakh or give dem gervinho back haha

Agree0 Disagree0

He is off to city, its money he is after and we cant pay it! Which i have no problem with, if 70k a week is not enough you dont deserve to be a player!

Agree0 Disagree0

Even if this is true...lille wont be stupid enuff to accept Park!
plus dey always have city n chelsea paying 35 plus

Agree0 Disagree0

"Even if this is true...lille wont be stupid enuff to accept Park!"

Ummm, actually Lille wanted Park and were trying to sign him before we swooped in and hijacked their deal. It is feared that we may have burnt our brides with that move. I cant see this rumour being true anyway, but if it was it makes sense that Lille may still want Park.

Coity Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

He wants 200,000-a-week wages, we won't even offer that much to robin

BgdGooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Really think we'd pay the 200,000 a week, chels, ***ty n united are offering? no chance, we'd had our chance last season with a 20 mill bid, they wanted 22, wenger wouldnt do it!(shock) missed that boat big time

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't realise Ashburton grove had an accounts department. What a load of rubbish.
Essexgunner

Agree0 Disagree0

The Accounts department is at Highbury House... Doh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha you are nothing but a liver. How do I know this? Because we have signed podolski who is a WINGER and then tht makes 4 WINGERS at afc. So take your lying ways and stop posting rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Y bother posting utter nonsense? It wastes your time, my time and other peoples time so whats the point...

I was watching Hold the back page special on sky sports and they just quickly asked if they thought RVP would stay?
One went on to say that he will stay at arsenal he did say he was unsure if he would sign a contract or not still but he said he would go as far as to say he would be at arsenal next year 100% not saying he does know but just passing on what I herd of his understanding or feels
LONDON GOONER

Believable16 Unbelievable5

I rather sell him now den lose him for free next season

Agree0 Disagree0

If he was going sign it would be done! Arsenal seem to not tie big players down to long deals! I think we should sell him, if he does not want to stay he could become a problem, like fab and nasri! Had enough of this now, you either want to play for arsenal or you dont

Agree0 Disagree0

22 May 2012 01:04:28
i have it on good authority that mvilla will NOT be moving to emirates, inter are now in pole position to sign him, all those rumours earlier in the month was jus one journalist in france who said it was done and people took that and ran with it... well sorry goes mvilla will not go to arsenal dnt expect anything from him until after the euros..... to inter dat is!

22 May 2012 01:06:18
looks like we are in for a swap deal for higuan for rvp, also song will leave for real as jose has hinted a move for him... mvilla to come in? nuffin will happen til after the euros in which his price will increase as france will b finalist/semi

22 May 2012 01:08:32
dont expect any more big signings other than poldoski, sorry guys wenger is onli going to bring in a few inexperienced/ unknown players... and the season after that wenger will leave to manage france replacing laurent blanc - at least he will leave behind a large unused kitty for the next manager.... bring graham back!

{Ed007's Note - I thought I would move your posts together to save space. You seem a bit confused though.}

Believable7 Unbelievable27

M'Vila to Inter? Really? Inter must be paying him quadruple his wages then...

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe you should go back to the Spuds page.

Agree0 Disagree0

All I can say is... TROLL.

Inter deal for M'Vila fell through about hmm, 2 weeks ago! When they did not qualify, for CL.

Higuain will be staying at Real, they've already rejected 2 bids, from PSG. Not the "one" that's been reported.

Agree0 Disagree0

Where did you hear that ?
that m'vila isn't join the gunners ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Love Eds note!
lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Spud Problems.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are these all from the same person cus if they are a dont believe anything he says. He says mvilla to inter then 2 mins later we have to wait then that no new signings atall

Agree0 Disagree0

This guy got hit in the head really bad as a kid.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats what I mean. excellent moderation Ed007, this unknown has been revealed for what he is. Useless.

Agree0 Disagree0

Source?? h

Good work ed!

MIKEE

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol... Great work

Agree0 Disagree0

I love those 1am emails/texts when you just saunter back from the pub.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Classic spud

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you suffer from short term memory loss, you seem to contradict yourself every 2 minutes

Agree0 Disagree0

Song has recently purchased a new residence in Highgate. I doubt he has a buy to let mortgage on it.
Afraid to say he is staying, chum

Agree0 Disagree0

If the same person wrote these three posts at 1am i would suggest you get to bed earlier - delusional ....

Agree0 Disagree0

This is brilliant! Well done Ed!

Agree0 Disagree0

Mayb its not the same person? or 3 ppl sendin 3 msgs? duhhhhhh

Agree0 Disagree0

That was pretty awesome Ed. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

M'vila could well be the player our team needs to seriously compete for the title. it is ridiculos how good he will be very soon. we should do whatever it takes to sign him, same old arsenal, leave it late, watch his price tag inflate during the euro's and not get him! we wanted him and hazard last year. missed out on him now and iv heard m'vila is now on city's radar with de jong looking likely to be going. we need to sign him asap longer its left more likely we are on missin out... again..

Agree0 Disagree0

Mwuhah! FAIL!!!

Ed ripped you a new one!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed7 opening a can of whoop ass

Agree0 Disagree0

Mvilla is overrated song is well better

Agree0 Disagree0

What bring back the same graham who managed spuds no thanks mate

for some reason my earlier post did not go through,so here goes again..
wenger is about to make a bid for barcelona's iniesta..

the price is in the region on 22 million and he will offered a 4 year contract..
the club are willing to pay 130,000 a week, they are hoping he will make a decision on the footballing side more than money.

this is the real malaga gooner ed, and if i am banned i would rather you tell me then i wont bother to post any more..
malaga gooner {Ed007's Note - You're not barred as far as I know. I don't believe you though lol.}

Believable7 Unbelievable33

We don't want to have malaga gooner barred...his posts always make me laugh...:DDD

Agree0 Disagree0

Malaga, haha this is a good one...although I think your valuation may be off by about 25-30million.....but I love your imagination

Do you think Iniesta would start over Ramsey or Diaby?

Glad someone has a sense of humor on this site....cheers Malaga

Agree0 Disagree0

And so you are back with more fairy tales..

(if this is the real Malaga goner)
Why not make it more plausible

Agree0 Disagree0

More boll#x

Agree0 Disagree0

This may be the single most ridiculous post in the history of this space iniesta for 22mil? Ed. I think you should ban him for writing complete garbage {Ed027's Note - it's a rumour site, his rumours are a tad unrealistic but still his own rumours

Agree0 Disagree0

So is this going to happen just like the hazard deal did?

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh god why...

Agree0 Disagree0

Malaga gooner at it again

Agree0 Disagree0

One day your get it right just don't think it's today or tomorrow or the day after that.

If you are to make rumours up try doing a bit of background checks first to make the rumour a bit realistic. I use to live in Spain myself don't sunbath between the hours of noon to 16.00.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hold on Malaga, my sources say the deal has been hitched, as Barca have offered Messi and Iniesta, in return for 5m plus Diaby and Chamakh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Leave barca for arsenal.. footballing decision? 130'000 a wk, are you high?

Agree0 Disagree0

safe then broo
