the brazilian player we are after is leonardo damiao and this is no bs..

Malaga gooner

Believable22 Unbelievable62

Yeah, u keep on dreaming that.

Agree0 Disagree1

Would be a funny signing because Spuds have been linked with him for ages and always dominates their rumour pages daily for ever in a day.

Agree0 Disagree1

I can see this being true to be fair

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah we've known that for a while now. Were also looking at Romas Bojan Krcic

Agree0 Disagree0

Another one of your made up rumours

Agree0 Disagree0

Bojan is going back to barca next season unless roma pay 18 million which their not willing to do.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bojan is being flogged to anyone who will take him. Flopped at Roma and Barca cbf with him anymore.

Shame, because I think he was a case of a great player ruined by poor management. Bit like Chamakh :P

spurs have already tabled bids over 15 mill quid..which is our limit...and you think we still have a chance?

Agree0 Disagree0

It seems the brazillian were after according to some ITK's like you out there its Ganso.

sahin is a done deal,

Malaga gooner

Believable12 Unbelievable87

Saying things that you want to happen doesn't make it a rumour, MG, you have no source, no credibility, no knowledge and no idea... Let's just wait and see.... Oh, and if he does sign for arsenal, it will be no more than a lucky guess!,

Agree1 Disagree1

Sahin having a Liverpool medical tomorrow!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bull man! He is going to LFC, way too much talk!

Agree1 Disagree0

Really? I'm pretty sure Rodgers has just said he's pretty far down the line for signing for liverpool and it should be confirmed within the next 24 hours?

Db7

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love him at arsenal thought it would of been done by now according to this site his ment to of signed in the next 24hrs about 20 times and hi jacked buy liverpool about the same where Eva he goes he's quality

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, done deal for Liverpool.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi lfc fan come in peace , I've heard he may be due on Merseyside tomorrow for a medical but we shall see , good luck for the season .... Steve

Agree0 Disagree0

Just heard on sky he was with lpool team, done deal. Why oh why do not take advantage, perhaps he wanted an extra £1!

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard his already had a medical at arsenal and lfc. It's all nonsense so I probably would put my money on arsenal as let's be fair they always like to keep us guessing. Look at podolski, giroud and cazorla none of them recent signings was done quickly it's always a saga with arsenal.

Ben gunner

Agree0 Disagree0

Liverpool have him its a done deal, you will all see that 2moro

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he choose liverpool there in a propa mess and rodgers is doomed

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he choose Liverpool? Because Arsenal are stubborn and won't take the loan deal only and it's either that or sitting on the bench at real for a season

Agree0 Disagree0

Let him go to Liverpool.. they all ready have to many midfielders and when they buy Dempsey too sahin probably wont even start lol good luck...

Agree0 Disagree0

'liverpool are in a proper mess' - you guys make me smile.

Sahin expected to be revealed by Monday. Jesus Navas in talks with Arsenal - undecided due to his tendency to be homesick at competitions abroad. Sakho deal looking less likely as Toure may be staying at City for cover. M'Vila only being looked at/brought in if Sahin deal falls through.

Malaga, mate you seem to have a poor bbq sauce.
please feed the fans with what are true facts not pub banter

Agree0 Disagree0

Kaka would not come to arsenal as much as I would love it. He is far more likely to play a year at either manc sides. It's not about money, it's the celebrity of being one of the best known players at the best known clubs.

23 Aug 2012 16:35:49
there is no problem with the sahin deal,as i said yesterday there could be a deal for 1 more player from madrid..
i have no further info on what player and it seems very secretive...

i am told there could be around £60million more to be spent, that includes money from players going out..

we will have spent around £35million out the so called war chest..
we are hoping to recoup about £25mill more on players going out..

i have been told we are in talks with the emirates about a new shirt deal this may include a new improved contract for the naming right's of the stadium..we have had talks with our solicitors to see would it be possible to buy out the contract if talks with the emirate break down..
i am told there are some big global brands looking to sponsor us and we could be talking about the biggest deal ever for a football club..
THEY ALL LIKE THE WAY WE RUN THE CLUB,WE ARE NOT A RISK..
COCA-COLA IS SUPPOSE TO BE VERY INTERESTED..

Malaga gooner

Believable25 Unbelievable49

I've also hear McDonalds is trying to sponsor us. We will get Van der Vaart, because we need someone who can represent the McDonalds way of life

Agree0 Disagree0

The current naming rights on the stadium started in 2006 and lasts for 15 years. So only another 9 years to go.

Total Bollox

Agree0 Disagree1

Virgin want naming rightd

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh you've branched out to chatting b******* about other things than transfers too I see. Emirates wouldn't allow the sponsorship deal to be "bought out". It's not a mobile phone contract. I don't know how happy Pepsi would be about Jack Wilshere playing wearing a Coca Cola advert either.

Paul

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds promising and we all know the contracts are coming to an end soon, can defiantly see us coming away on Nike as the kit manufacturer though, I don't know the financial implication or trying 'buy the contract out' or whether it would make sense. Coca cola is an interesting one though as they would have to sponsor a team that honoured the red strip?

Be interesting to see the numbers concerned to see how we compare to other clubs such as united and there new GM deal.

Don't think we will better there deal as they still have a massive fan reach but to be up there will be good
Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

How many rusks has this plonker had?

Agree0 Disagree0

Really

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh I'm going to the Coca Cola to watch Arsenal play, pleeaaaase guys that's too much

wenger weighing up a possible loan deal for berbetov, which was discussed when sir alex called him to persuede him to sign van persie, also the source that told me this who is from manchester has also said the the reason michael owen hasnt signed for stoke or everton yet is cos he is to travel down to london colney either today or tomorrow for a tour and to discuss a one year pay as you play deal

Believable12 Unbelievable49

All bull sh*t, i have spoken to a close contact of M.Owen and he said there is no truth in this as Stoke are just waiting to shift a couple of player's before Michael signs.

Believable15 Unbelievable64

Won't happen Sinclair is on his way to Man City. Where are people getting this info from?

Agree3 Disagree0

Not happening. Sinclair going to Manc rubbishty & taylor a possible liverpool target.

Arsenal have bid £15million for Brazilian striker Leandro Damiao

Believable38 Unbelievable48

If this is true then i will cry!

Agree1 Disagree0

I reported this last week I overheard two men and a lady in shoreditch house talking about him not sure which club they are talking about but someone in London is signing him.

Agree0 Disagree1

If true, makes a change that we're after a spud target for once.

Agree1 Disagree0

Even if we did he has just been rated at 47 million

Little Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

He just signed a new contract and 15million aint going to buy him

Agree2 Disagree0

His buyout is £47 but he could be secured for 20m+ please get him wenger damiao poldi and giroud is devastating.

Agree0 Disagree0

He going spurs for 20 plus mill 90% done

Agree0 Disagree0

For £47 quid I could afford him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger wont sign him. as he spent 11m on giroud and 10m on podolski. he wont spend any more on strikers.i can see him going for a winger like navas. centre mid perhaps m'vila and a right back and left back

Reports are suggesting that Sahin transfer has broken down due to a highjack bid by a German side, which I assume to be Bayern Munchen due to the failure of Javi Martinez deal.

Fanar Gooner

Believable30 Unbelievable9

He wil sign for arsenal

apc

Agree0 Disagree0

Sahin has played in germany, mourinho has said he wants sahin to join a premier league club as it will be good for his growth.

Agree0 Disagree0

This Sahin story is really dragging on. His he / isn't he. It's getting boring. Wenger needs to sort out a couple of players coz we do lack creativity in midfield & must be addressed. Problem is wenger seems 2 leave things to the last minute & it's frustrating.

Agree0 Disagree1

23 Aug 2012 12:53:19
believe me when I say everything is in place for sahin to move to arsenal, his had a medical, had his photoshoot, the ONLY problem is the option to buy fee.

real want 14m, while arsenal only wish to pay 8m. (10m total with 2m loan fee then 8m buy out)

If Arsene is serious about Sahin (which I believe he is) theres no way he is going to let this slip, he seems to want everything sorted before the last day.

Believable37 Unbelievable34

I would like to believe this, but surely you wouldn't be at an Arsenal photo shoot if everything hadn't been sorted first.

Braintreegooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes a bargain even at 14mill pure class and stil young

apc

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't see sahin signing coz the situation is dragging on &getting boring. If Wenger can't make up his mind then move on to another target. No more excuses.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Aug 2012 12:43:12
Dont panic about the Liverpool Shain rumours. Arsenal is his prefered destination and Arsenal are very keen to have him on the books.

As long as Arsenal agree the deal with No option to buy and dont keep trying to push the deal for a option to buy after his loan spell Sahin will be an Arsenal player this season.

My thoughts would be, Sahin will arrive and enjoy his football more than he realises at Arsenal and will therefore push for the deal to go through permanetly at the end of the season(knowing he will stuggle to get 1st team football at Real). Madrid are not stoping the permanant deal. At the moment it is Sahin.

The Professor

Believable29 Unbelievable30

"Sahin will arrive and enjoy his football more than he realises at Arsenal and will therefore push for the deal to go through "

If he doesnt realise how much he will enjoy his football, as you say, then he wont push for it.

What a stupid comment.

Agree1 Disagree1

You moron, if you read this properly it says he will push for the permanent deal at the end of the seaso.... not now. If your going to comment mate make it worth while. lol. What a loser.

Billybob

Believable15 Unbelievable21

That´s what the Independent news also said.. I hope it´s true.. so boring to read about this Sahin saga for a while now.. Pssttt

Agree0 Disagree0

The Independant also confirms medical taking place. Everywhere else says we have pulled the plug as no option to purchase. Got to say why spend a year grooming a player for Madrid. Agree with our stance no option to nit them look for an alternative.

Clément Chantôme to arsenal by the end of next week for 7.5 mil

Believable8 Unbelievable38

This is a very good shout - according to l'equipe

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger will not buy chantome and sahin, he would have too many midfielders. If anything, its more likely that the former has been approached in case the latter falls through, but also, psg are not a club we could easily raid players from

Believable30 Unbelievable43

I think he is going to Liverpool also.

Arsenal have missed out on him!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Mourinho JUST rubbished this

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont belive evrything caught offside tells you

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree1 Disagree0

Did you copy and paste this post?

Agree0 Disagree0

This is believable. I think that Arsenal's knack for being indecisive in the transfer windows has come back to bite them again here. Let's hope we can push on and sign a promising talent such as M'Vila as well as offload Walcott asap so we can approach teams for the likes of Navas and possibly Lewandowski

Agree0 Disagree0

This is rubbish its on ESPN we're in pole position, and if we cant beat liverpool to his signature were in trouble! coz they are mince! he'll be an arsenal player though im confident

Michael Owen to have a medical at emirates this week and if he passes it will be given a 12 month deal.

Also gathering pace Tiote is now AW preferred target for CDM and Newcastle are willing to listen if full valuation of the player is met which i'm led to believe is £16.5m..

Also as part of the Sahin loan deal there is a twist which has been holding up the proceedings..
Also coming on loan from Real Madrid... Wait for it!
Carvalho.. He will be the other Centre Half...

Heard it all hear 1st..

Confirmed by source still linked to the old Highbury Stadium and who I meet almost every other week when he is in his home country (you can make up your own mind who that can be):

Sahin: deal done
M'Vila: Joining Spurs
Sakho: Nothing true about existing rumours
Llorente: joining italian club (likely juventus)
Van Der Wiel: Staying with Ajax
Walcott: extending his contract for 4 years
Navas: no truth in that rumour at all
Affelay: staying at Barca
Arshavin: definitely Zenith St Petersburg
Squilacci: will be sold on the very cheap if needed
Bendtner: Borussia M Gladbach

but here is the surprise:
Dembe Ba joining Arsenal by mid next week together with Tiote in a swap deal that includes Chamakh (sold) and Ramsey (loan).

Dutch Gooner

Believable36 Unbelievable30

Well if you put a bet on with all those predictions you would win an awful lot of money.
Current players don't even know who's joining their club let alone a ex player who would also know what players are joing a club they had no association with.

As for all these rumours mostly crap I am sure, even think Sahin will go to Liverpool, this is taking far to long.

Hi guys iv posted once or twice on this before but I have talked with a well known ex football turned tv pundit last weeek and in the know. He told me a few things about certain clubs but he did tell me four things about Arsenal.

(1) Wenger wants to repeat his previous teams by having a FRENCH majority so to speak. Similar to the late 90's early 2000 where we had Pires, Henry, Wiltord, Petit, Grimandi, Vieira etc. This was a reason a while ago he brough Silvestre in as he likes to have good understanding and communication and finds it easier to know the French etos. Senderos was also kept on because he was multilingual. What does this mean you ask? Well this ex player told me that either a French midfielder or defender. This gives AW Kos, Giroud, Sagna, Diaby and, another player with Sakho been touted as the defender.

(2) A striker will be signed. I am not naming the player in question because there are three we are looking at and if I name them it is no precise that it would certainly give me up as revealing my source. A dutchman, a spannish international or an Englishman. The latter would surprise you.

(3)Walcott will sign a new deal. All that is been stalled are wages but its nothing significant to halt the contract. The source said that Walcott did want a move away for more money but nobody could match what he wanted while promising first team action bar one club that could not offer a decent shot at trophies or qualifying for the CL.

(4) Believe it or not there was a group of 5 at the club making live difficult after Nasri and Fabregas were sold. RVP was one, however it was more anger at losing more players for him. Arshavin, Song, were another two. Chamakh believe it or not also questioned Wenger rein when Arsenal were starting slow last season and the final remains at the club so i will not name him but you may have realised he faded into the season too!

So two transfers, whether it includes Sahin or not which seems to be coming to the front. One will be French.

Cazorla
Podolski
Giroud
Sahin
Sakho
M'vila - depending on Arshavin and Park departing
A striker will be signed

Believable34 Unbelievable35

If this has any truth the englishman is probably defoe

Agree1 Disagree3

The fifth player should be Ramsey?

Agree1 Disagree1

Already heard of this group of five, though not all is named at that time, only know persie song and walcott if not mistaken. Lol chamakh and arshavin, who they think they are?

Agree0 Disagree0

I've heard that English Striker in question is a certain Michael Owen... Pay per Play Contract...

Agree1 Disagree0

Darren Bent? massive arsenal fan would jump at the chance i reckon and very under estimated fantastic goal scorer

5th player is Ramsey and the surprise englishman is believe it or not Michael Owen

1) I doubt language has anything do with who we sign. In order of priorities, we sign players based on : Availability, price, quality. Although this summer it has shifted to availability, quality, price.

2) I trly believe another striker has to be signed. We only have 2 at the club who are in the cub's plans and they are both starters, Pod and Giroud. The rest are failures, don't want to be here or not in the plans. So I agree. Interest in Mirallas was made public yet some think we aren't in for strikers - we have to be. Negredo?

3) I hope he doesn't but fine if he does. Would rather he left and we signed a half-decent winger. Should tell Arsenal fans all they need to know when no decent top clubs come in for Theo nor do they wish to pay his wage demands.

4) Not the first time I have heard this. In fairness, I think all the players had a bit of a right to be a miffed that some of the league's best players were being flogged. But that sulk should be kept quiet and not affect their commitment to the job. I am beginning to really hate Chamakh now. I was so excited when we signed him, I thought he was class and added a dimension to our attack. His head was like a magnet for the ball, unreal some of the crosses he got onto. Now though, he's the biggest flop I can remember for many years aside from Squid, his attitude stinks and he thinks he should earn absolute wedge, he's crazy. He seems to be a bit of a punk and I cannot wait til he's sold. I don't wanna know about hookers, Sheesha, and that he thinks he deserves to play with legends- I wanna hear that he's doing extra training every to sort his pace out, and shooting practice!

Confirming interest in a player or a rumour of a player leaving is one thing... but claiming you have inside knowledge on wengers thoughts is another.

You have quoted "This was a reason a while ago he brough Silvestre in as he likes to have good understanding and communication ". Are you realy suggesting you have that much inside info that you even know how Wengers thinking? Come on mate.... What do you take us for.
