Arsenal accept 6 Million bid for Chamakh from Stoke
Believable35
Unbelievable60
Nonsense, his not strong enough for stokes football. Plus every rumour on giroud signing is with us including chamakh in the deal
Agree0
Disagree0
Had no idea Chamakh had a talent for rugby. Hasn't shown much of an aptitude for football at Arsenal, so should fit right in at Stoke
Agree0
Disagree0
Chamakh won't be part of the Giroud deal, I wouldn't doubt this but I think chamakh will go back to france, doubt Stoke can afford his wages.
Agree0
Disagree0
Giroud has the same style as chamack. Chamack was also a prolific goal scorer in france.
Agree0
Disagree0
How do you know chamakh won't be apart of the giroud deal? " he wants to go back to France and play first team football? I've seen it reported to be in this deal on various reports including The mirror, bbc football and even the independent. So don't be so confident. Unless your on the board mate
Agree0
Disagree0
I've seen the reports too and Montpellier wanted to do a loan deal but it's not happening because the transfer fee is already taken care of, it's been about 2 weeks since chamakh was linked with a swap deal. I don't need to be on the board to know it...
Agree0
Disagree0
Also the independent that reported it, now report its just a 13 mil fee with no chamakh swap.
Agree0
Disagree0
Lol @ chamack being prolific goalscorer in france.. 56 goals in 230 games
Agree0
Disagree0
Chamakh scored 76 goals in 301 appearances in all competitions for Bordeaux, I'd hardly call that prolific.
Giroud's career stats are 93 goals in 216 games.
Stezza.
Agree0
Disagree0
Stoke are favourites to sign Michael Owen so doubt the would bother with chamakh
Paul - Rochester
Agree0
Disagree0
Where do people come to the conclusion that Chamakh was prolific in Ligue 1? He score 11 goals in his last season there, that's hardly prolific is it?
And comparing Giroud and Chamakh is just useless - Giroud is bigger, faster, stronger, has a killer left foot and a decent right foot. Chamakh can only use his head.
Agree0
Disagree0
Since when was Chamack a prolific goal scorer in france. his highest goals scored in all comp is like 14 or 15 goals including champions league. giroud scored 21 league goals 25 in all comps
Agree0
Disagree0
How could we get rid of such a good looking striker to the Ugly football.? Lol
Agree0
Disagree0
Chamahk was not a "prolific scorer" in France - he scored the most number of headed goals for Bordeaux once, in the Champions Lge - Giroud does not = Chamahk
Agree0
Disagree0
There was talk of Chamakh being included as part of the Giroud deal, but the loan deal broke down as Montpellier wanted Arsenal to pay his wages which we weren't willing to do. Chamakh will most likely remain at Arsenal next season or be loaned to a non English club to rediscover some form and get some playing time, possibly back to Bordeux. A
Agree0
Disagree0
A this is brilliant, I know some Stoke fans who constantly bring up 'Chamook' when they taunt me about my soft faerie team with s**t players on it. WELL YOU'RE ABOUT TO ACTUALLY PAY MONEY FOR ONE
Agree0
Disagree0
Stoke fans don't have the right to taunt anyone about anything, especially having s**t players. Their team's full of them. If it was up to people like Tony Pulis, football would consist of gangs of mutant young men trying to kick a severed human head from one village to the next.
Agree0
Disagree0
I'd love to see that. Good money for a s**t player.

Reporting as been on this site for over a month now and no matter how much I post stuff it is NEVER put up! Begginibg to really piss me off!
Agree0

"Sources close to Arsenal" - aye the Big Issue seller outside the Emirates.
Agree0
Disagree0
There are no reliable sources when it comes to genuine 100% proof evidence of transfers, other than the football club themselves. I just use twitter to speak with other arsenal fans, and its amazing how many of them try to pawn off info like they are in the boardroom with wenger themselves. I do believe this site should be renamed arsenalspeculation.co.uk
Agree0
Disagree0
The only player coming to replace RVP is already here: Podolski. Why do you think the notoriously slow out of the blocks and reluctant to spend AW was so quick to do the deal? It's because RVP is on his way, but was honest enough to inform the club of his intentions early.

I think arsenal should sign ricardo fuller or rolf harris

Van Persie has said Dutch TV that he will not likely play for Arsenal Next season.
If this is true, we definitely need a new striker to get us to 3rd place again.

What a load of nonsense. Cannot understand why you would post crap like this and worse still believe it. If he did say this it would be all over BBC & Sky!

Rvp wont be the same next season but i still think we need to hang on to him.

3rd place! we should be going for 1st...

Lies! The truth is van Persie is staying at Arsenal and Arsenal will win the league!

Van Persie contract seen as very important at board level. Arsenal starting too feel thy need to win some off field battles in order to gain on field success.
Believable12
Unbelievable5
He's the highest paid player at the club as it is, any new contract will dwarf his existing one yet still will be nowhere near the levels man city could offer.
for the sake of team development/morale its best to hold onto him and let him see his contract out, we might lose out on 20m fee but we won't be paying him 20m contract worth for the next 4 years. for the sake of one season unlike with nasri its worth forsaking any transfer request to have an truly world class striker with us.

Thanks for stating the bleeding obvious. If our directors did not think this before then they should not have been on the board.

Believable23
Unbelievable57
@Ben, What are you talking? M'vila is done. And if you don't believe that we are even interested, then look at what m'vila himself said! Sport trend, the most reliable twitter account i've ever seen say that it a done deal for a long time now. And they have nothing wrong till now. They are the first reliable twitter account, which is no bulls**t. Look at their TL and you see that what they tell us, everything comes out.Podolski, Giroud, Pogba, Hulk, Hazard. He was the first to say it. Just wait and you will see tthat m'vila is an arsenal player. 100% sure. So ben, stop talking things you don't know.

Agree0

What you mean is you don't think he will. Really, no matter what drivel you spill, you have no more idea than the rest of us. You just realise you've got a 50/50 chance of being right, and if you are, you'll claim how right you were and mention your sources. If he signs you'll not say a thing cos nobody will care what you said anyway because you're not that interesting.

Wow Ben mate I feel sorry for you, wasn't expecting that kind of reaction. Just shows if people don't hear what they want to hear.
I think his purchase will depend on the future of Diaby. Arsene likes to keep faith with current squad members so it is perfectly plausible.
In Arsene I Trust.

Dont need him, i dont know why everyone thinks we should, i mean we got song, wilshere, arteta, ramsey, frimpong, need a more of a cenre attacking midfeilder who is quick and skillful

Told you chaps. More rumours of M'Vila. It's done. "Everything was in place when Arsenal beat Spurs 5-2"
Also why do some fans want Dzagoev? Looks a tidy player but he's Russian. They don't particularly do well in the Premiership....

Pogrebnyak and pavlyuchenko didnt do 2 bad in premiership
Agree0
Disagree0
Besides arshavin? what russians haven't done well. I assume you will say yuri zhirkov. But then that would just show how stupid and ignorant you really are as he was barely given any chances to make a real impact. as he was plagued with injuries and often when he was fit his lb role was occupied by a certain ashley cole, whom many regard as one of the worlds best, but if you do remember when cole was out injured zhirkov excelled and played well for a period of games before he picked up another injury. Also arshavin did amazing for his first half season, his second didnt live up to 'expectations' yet he still scored 10 goals from the lw. since then he has dwindled as he is no longer considered a top player, no doubt he still is but he has fallen down the pecking order.
Agree0
Disagree0
Daftest comment ever re: Russians. Such a pathetic outlook on people, completely fails to take into account the strengths of an individual. I love the way 'gooners' forget that for a season and a half, Arshavin was the most exciting player in our league, so think again mate. Dzagoev is class. Are you saying if he was French he would be a good signing?
Agree0
Disagree0
Easy to say when only a hand full of Russians have played here in the PL and what about the Italians and the Spanish? They have had 10 fold more player in the PL then the Russians have and most have gone no where just a select few so to determine 1 individual against many others which i may add come from a colder climate to begin with is silly really.
But lets be honest Dzagoev, do we really need him? Time will tell and timing for his signing will be perfect for end of his contract.
Lets not be greedy lets be happy with what we got so far and say anything else is a bonus. I'm well happy if Giroud goes through as it adds to our att options and then will help if RVP gets injured. We really should not rely on 1 player so much.
Bring back Jack and forget M'villa let Song learn a more defencive roll (another season atleast) and maybe he will become the more complete player and bingo we have a more determined, more att minded squad with goals from all angles instead of being predictable for managers as to close RVP down.
Stay faithfull, be a fan, and remember you support a team for the team through good and bad. Not just for winning trophies.
Gavsta
Arsenal through and through till i die (tatoo's to prove it)
Agree0

Sorry forgot to add. That does not mean that I dont want M'villa as I think he will be a great addition, but extra strength in depth allways helps. I also think defencively that Song has a little way to go so may be a good thing.

Word around twitter n fb>>>>> Arsenal have agreed a fee with Rennes for defensive midfielder Yann M'Vila. The fee is £14million rising to a potential £18million, and will become the Gunners all time record signing if he passes a medical and signs a contract after Euro 2012 finishes.
BOSSARSENAL!! :)))))
Believable41
Unbelievable13
Will Mvilla play along side song? because dat wud be one defensive beastly duo, jus what we need! with song going forward as he does so we wont compromise our attack!
Agree0
Disagree0
Think we need to spend more than $18million as a record buy if we're gonna realistically compete for major honours next year. I hope rumours about ozil are true. But with arsenal I don't have great confidence. Think we need a good back up for Sagna and I still believe a good left back as Gibbs isn't te greatest. I think Ekouto from dare I say our neighbours would be a great buy!
Agree0
Disagree0
Firstly if song stays - another player who has entered his final year of contract, he will be given a more forward role! With the announcement on Arsenal.com, do not expect M'Vila to remain our biggest transfer fee for to much longer. No names just watch this space!
Agree0

Song. Jack. Mvilla. With Arteta popping in also to rotate
Then 3 attack minded players in the front 3 would free up Theo etc from tracking back so much
I like it !,

we have walcott, chamberlain wiltshire, gervihno poldolski van persie giroud arteta rosicky.
