I've been told there's no medical scheduled at Arsenal tomorrow, a mate has asked the medical staff and they don't know anything about it.
I'm not saying it won't happen, but that sound sure.
Personally I can't see us being allowed to sign Higuain until Real can announce a new manager and maybe a marquee signing- Isco or Cavani. I can see them dragging their heels.
Anyway, hope I'm wrong and there is the much talked about medical carried out tomorrow.

"A mate has asked" not heard that one before.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh no. mocked by Malaga! Mr 0% correct rumours himself!

Look I just repeated what I was told, my mate is a coach at Arsenal and tells me what he hears.

Has there been a medical today?

Agree0 Disagree0

It's 9 freckin 45 in the morning! "has there been a medical today" - Give over FFS

That's the stupidest question I've heard being asked at this time in the morning. And what medical staff? There's none at Colney today and wasn't all last week. So how did your mate ask them?

Only people at Colney this morning were Lofty and Tim (Security) and a few 'autograph hunters' who don't realise it's time off until next week.

IF There's a Higuain medical they took the team to Spain w/ them to do a Podolski type medical.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well my mate has asked mr wenger himself and he said there is one

watford gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

I assume he knows people on the medical staff so can text or call them. I didn't think to ask. All he said was he had asked and they knew nothing about there being a medical today.
At 9. 45am you would probably know if a medical was being carried out that day. If what you're saying is correct then there is nobody at Colney so it sounds like a no.
I cannot see the medical being done in Spain, there's no need to. Pod was a very different transfer.

Agree0 Disagree0

No it wasn't. No different at all. Other clubs were interested and AFC wanted it done as quick as possible. Exactly like this one.

But case in point - He's still in the U. S/South America anyway so I highly doubt it's being done now. Although rumour is gathering that RMFC Have given the green light and he's flying to London today.

Gonzalo higuains brother Federico plays for the Columbus crew. I work at the facility that he Columbus crew works out at. They came in today and me and my manager found Federico and asked him about Gonzalo being an arsenal player. When we asked he started smiling and said "I think so, maybe. "

While it was not a definite yes, the way he acted made it seem that way, but he just didn't want to give it away.

I know that this already seems like a done deal, but this is just to help boost the rumors and to dispell any one who is still doubting higuain being a gunner for next season.

I have to say, and I mean no offence to you but I never believe any of these sorts of stories

Agree3 Disagree0

3434 - Believe what you want, it happened. I don't ever post information on this sight. I have posted 2 or 3 times before asking about certain players. I understand that this is the internet, so it is hard to believe things like this. It happened though

US Gooner - O-H!

Agree1 Disagree0

I have always never wanted to believe these what seem ridiculous stories and you probably won't believe mine, but its completely true I have no reason to talk nonsense as i'm not weird or a B. Ser.

I did try and post on the site this time last year when I found out a year ago the wife of my close friend works and is friends with rvp, s sister so I cheekly asked her to find out wether rvp was staying or going and she told her he was indeed leaving. my point is that these stories could well be possible though I expect most of them are false but still give your fellow gooners the benefit of the doubt as it is a very small world even smaller now with social media, and just because you have never come across something so seemingly coincidental dosent mean other people haven't.

Higuain is set to have a medical at Arsenal tomorrow. The terms have been agreed that the fee is £20m-£25m, a 4 year deal worth a 100k-150k deal. I can't wait for him to be in an Arsenal shirt.

Believable47 Unbelievable30

Sound like we read the same websites this morning.

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL. 20-25mil and 110-150k deal. you sound like your in the know.
also next signing is done, no names. but is between 0-25mill and earn 30-150k a week. you heard it here first

Agree3 Disagree1

LOL Pastyrash! You are a psysich genius!

Agree0 Disagree2

Haha agree with pastyrash- you've really tried to cover your bases there.

it's a bit like saying we are going to definitely sign one of these 10 players lol!

Agree0 Disagree0

You're right but imagine also Fellaini and Williams

Agree1 Disagree0

Higuains father has said Juventus are not out of the running.
Jay1982

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair to the poster 20-25mill/110-150 k a week could well be true as most deals include bonuses ect.

An american radio station has reported that personal terms have been agreed with Higuain and that he will be arriving in London tomorrow for a medical. I really hope this is true!

Believable17 Unbelievable36

We've been so closely linked with Higuain that the acid test of Wenger and Gazidis' credibility (assuming they have any left with the majority of the support) will be whether this deal is actually completed. Will we show the much promised ambition and financial clout to genuinely compete with the top clubs, or will this be yet another deal that stalls due to Wenger's parsimony and we end up with another average journeyman we've never heard of from the lower end of Ligue 1 instead? Unfortunately the form book would suggest the latter.

Dortmond have had a £10 million bid for Podolski rejected by Arsenal.

Believable19 Unbelievable30

Is there a source for this. If correct, it might have given Arsenal a lever for Subotic, Gundogan or even Lewandowski.

Agree0 Disagree0

He'll stay at arsenal and score a lot of goals next season. Unless the double the money I don't see him going anywhere. Nice to keep our best players for a change, and I do rate Poldi very highly

Agree2 Disagree1

My thoughts exactly 20m is the minimum think he will really do well this season
MgM

Agree0 Disagree0

Latest rumours are linking Gundogan with a move to Madrid and Lewandowski is very unlikely. I doubt Wenger would split up such a good defensive partnership right now, with that in mind Subotic is far too good to be on our bench anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

I read something like this as well but I fully agree with the two comments above. He is a quality player with 110 caps for Germnay and a lethal left foot. He will improve on his 16 goals and 11 assists last season.

Higuains father has said that no deal has actually been agreed yet, but arsenal have put a strong bid forward and are in advanced talks. But nothing's concrete.

3434

Believable42 Unbelievable14

I will be surprised if this happens for Arsenal. There are a number of clubs out there who have signed players without half the fuss.

Agree5 Disagree0

Contracts may not have been signed and cannot be registered in any event until 1/7/13, but all indications are it's a done deal between both clubs and the player.

Agree0 Disagree0

I do get confused with the opening window. I thought England could sign and register players around 15th of June.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the person who posted the first reply.

Out of all the players signed by PL clubs so far, would you have wanted any of them at Arsenal?

The list (to name but a few)

Chelsea: Schurrle
Liverpool: Alberto & K. Toure
Man City: Fernandinho, Navas
Man Utd: Varela
West Ham: Carroll

Personally, I wouldn't want any of these players at Arsenal so stop whinging and just let it happen when it does!

Agree0 Disagree1

To the post above, jesus navas is a quality player and for 14-15mil he was a steal, would of walked straight into the team.

D16

Players can be sold and registered between English clubs from June 1st.

Hence West Ham signing and registering Carroll from Liverpool for £15.5m

Players can be "signed" by clubs in the PL from "foreign" clubs at anytime such as Fernandinho to City, Navas to City, Schurrle to Chelsea.

With the above deals for example, everything is agreed and the players are presented to the media/public and officially registered when the European transfer registration opens on July 1st.

Hope that helps?

Yep, wenger should of though about having a go 4 navas! He is a top player! We will just have 2 wait and c what trick he has up his sleve this time! If we have got the cash, let's spend it! And win sum silverware, it's been 2 long now!

Agree1 Disagree0

This won't happen to much like the matta situation city or Chelsea or someone with more money will take him

Agree1 Disagree0

Above post has some sense

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank you very much greeny that clears it up!

Agree0 Disagree0

Navas is not a top quality player, massiveley over rated. 37 games last season, 0 goals and 6 assists. For 20 mill? do me a favour, much better players out there for the money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you really going to judge him on one season? Have you ever seen him play and witnessed his impact on the a game? Worry not if he performs as he can he will light up the Prem and you may change your view on him.
