{Ed002's Note - Quiet. Raiola is surprised at what happened with Arsenal and Minolas with the deal being in his eyes complete earlier in the week regardless Manchester United interest. Now it seems Roma are asking him for the player to replace Benatia.}

Several sites suggesting transfer is being delayed until after Wednesday to ensure C.L. qualification is secure. If there is a modicum of truth in that it defies logic. Does anyone believe we can play a whole season, with or without C.L., with 2 recognised central defenders and an inexperienced full-back as cover. Manolas should have been signed before Vermaelen was allowed to leave. Instead we have fannied around for 2-3 weeks and may let Man U pinch him from under our noses. Penny-pinching gone mad.

So are we to assume Campbell is Podolski's replacement?
What are peoples thoughts about the transfer window, I personally think we will wait until the weekend and Wenger will get someone in.

I'm thinking he got the deals done early that wasn't complicated and could be done. Now it's a waiting game. I still think there could be a few more to come in. I really hope for a DM,CB,CF and a LB. I know that's not going to happen but they're in my order of priority.
