If Arsenal do rekindle interest it will be interesting to see if it ends interest in the likes of Carvalho or whether he is seen as simply a squad player. It seems an odd choice at this time.}

Ed, it seems like our scout Luis Boa Morte is singing like a canary about the player - sounds like we have been busy watching him. I guess if we were truly interested then we would not be speaking so much about him?

{Ed002's Note - Danilo Pereira moved a few months ago and I am not aware of any interest in him from Arsenal. I have no idea what Boa Morte has said about him but there are no "smokescreens".}

I saw a transfer rumour today, suggesting that Callum Chambers will be returning in January on loan. This makes little sense, as he is a decent 4th choice centre back and provides additional cover at right back, particularly if Debuchy departs in January. Are we signing another centre back or is this rumour nonsense?
Unless of course, we keep Debuchy and have agreed to sign a centre back in January. Could have something to do with signing Wanyama either now or in the summer?

Morning Ed02, do you see Sergi Samper moving on loan in Jan? Would Arsenal be interested in a 6 month loan deal?

{Ed002's Note - Barcelona will consider letting Sergi Samper move on loan in January with Sporting Gijon and Real Sociedad possible options. When concerned about losing Ruben Neves, Porto hedged their bets by discussing Samper with Barcelona but I suspect their interest has gone. After losing out on Grujic, Anderlecht may again enquire about Samper but they do not appear to be a realistic option. Arsenal has shown previous interest but they need and are looking at a more experienced option.}
