Hi eds, I'm new to the site and have been reading a lot about Benzema but if he is a no go is there any substance to the Lewandowski link.
Many thanks

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal have toyed with the idea of making a move for Lewandowski over the past three years. I am not aware of interest in him at this time and the priority is elsewhere still. With changes coming at Bayern Munich over the next 12 months I suspect Lewandowski will stay where he is, although other clubs are indeed interested.}

Thanks for the reply.

Curious to know what the holdup is. Younger than the Benz and in all likelihood, cheaper too considering it would take a monumental price to prize him from Real's clutches.

To be frank though I'd have Aguero over both. Get it done Arsene!

Ed002, with regard to 'priority is elsewhere still', do you mean elsewhere in terms of where to get the striker from, or elsewhere on the pitch?

Thanks

{Ed002's Note - Striker.}

Any substance to rumours Arsenal are in for Zlatan?

What about Cavani? It seems like PSG would need to offload a player if the talk about Di Maria joining them is true.

Thanks Eds!!

{Ed002's Note - There has been a discussion this week between the agent of ZI and an English side about the player - but it was not Arsenal. Arsenal has not shown interest in Cavani.}

Zlatan on LVG today: "At the end, I think he is professional and I am professional. Whoever I work with, I never had this kind of problems, because at the end I need to do my job, he needs to do his job. And I think a lot of fights would happen, but that's something I like."

If Ibrohimovic was to come to England there's only one club who would be willing to pay his wages and pussy foot around him.
Absolutely fantastic player who has always had an ego the size of Australia and the older he gets the more egotistic he will become as his abilities diminish.
On the face of it he would be a really exciting signing but in reality he would cause more problems than he solved.

Hello eds
With benzema's agent saying that he is 1000% staying and the director coming out and saying we are in a search for a centre forward, certainly things have changed and may step up now. Can you tell us about the potential players that Harris is talking about? Do you know where Wenger has interests in CF's now that Benz is out?
Thanks in advance

{Ed002's Note - Benzema is the player preferred by Arsenal. Arsenal may turn to Higuain as an option but the price may put them off. Arsenal will be interested in Reus if he is available. There is nothing new.}

Thanks for the info ed
Cheers!

Ed if reus is available there will be no doubt a lot of interest from other clubs. If that scenario came up do you think arsenal will financially compete with the other big hitters or would we back off.

{Ed002's Note - Forget the money, you are a football fan so it will just confuse you. If he is available Arsenal will be interested.}

Well that's comforting to know. He would be top of my list cheers

So Benzema "1000% staying" at Madrid according to his agent, where does that leave our options? Lacazette seems to be the only viable available option to me up front! Ed's do you know if there is any interest from Us for him? Or any other striker were interested in? Higuain' price tag is miles out of our reach IMO

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - There is interest in Lacazette from a number of clubs including Roma, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Arsenal and, in particular Chelsea & PSG and there have been a number of discussions about his future - but with only three of these clubs. Manchester City moved to buy Bony in January and now need to be making space if they are going to continue their interest in Lacazette. With Jovetic and probably Dzeko leaving in the summer nothing will come of it unless Aguero were to also leave - and a move to Manchester City seems very unlikely regardless. Bayern have not pushed with their interest and will likely put a number of issues on hold until another matter is addressed. Juventus has moved for Dybala and that will end their interest. Arsenals efforts are also elsewhere for now. Guy Hillion has been looking at Lacazette on behalf of Chelsea and there has been a couple of meetings discussing several players including Lacazette. It was made very clear that any transfer this season would be very difficult and most unlikely - although that was before Lyon obtained a new striker. PSG are desparate to sign a high-profile French player and they will look to force through a move this summer, but it will be difficult and there is certainly no agreement at this time - but at some point he may well end up there. Roma has also discussed the player with Lyon but will be priced out of the market.}

Any idea if we are looking at llorente eds. And thanks for replying to me when you can

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - you were offered him but made no move, so I would suggest there is no interest.}
