Ramsey to Fulham for 5mil. Could also be used as a makeweight for a Dempsey deal, taking his price down. I think this would be great, as Ramsey is despised by the majority of the fans and would be buried on the bench this year. Thoughts Eds? {Ed002's Note - Perhaps, but I really don't know.}

Believable20 Unbelievable37

I wouldn't say we "despise" him, it's more frustration, or at least it is for me.

D

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally think Wenger has too much faith in him to let him leave for such a price, I'd be very surprised to be honest.

"Ramsey is despised by the majority of the fans"

Goodness me, there are some drama queens on this site.

He had a mediocre season, he's young, he will improve. Stop being so excessively critical of players you're supposed to be supporting.

Stezza.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see Wenger selling him when you look at how much faith he's kept in him through his injuries and looking at how much he played him this season. A season long loan would be good for him though.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Not only is your comment harsh but it's utter bollox. They may be a short term loan deal in the offing to get young Aaron's fitting levels up. Make no mistake Ramsey is one of a few great youngsters at the club with massive futures ahead of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

The injury to Wilshire forced Wenger to play Ramsey more than he wanted too, you got too remember he is still recovering from a severe injury, he started the season well but just burnt out.

Bright Future

Archie

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey is NOT despised by Gooners, we ALL know he has had a hard time after an injury which could have ended his career, obviously you're a WUM and NOT a Gooner.

Agree0 Disagree0

Load of B S!!!
Not going to happen ...there so much B S on this site !

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree rambo has just had a tough season and had to play too much! He is not hated at all! There's no way he will be sold

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't speak for me or the Arsenal fans I know. Ramsey has the potential to become an Arsenal legend over the next few years.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have done my share of moaning about him but I have also always backed him in every game only to be let down. most of the time. But don't forget he stepped up when we were so short throughout the season and he had the weight of the world on his shoulders - I cannot see Wenger getting rid before the end of next season at least.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Ramsey is despised by the majority of the fans"

Do you have ANY idea what you're talking about? Seriously?! I know a lot of fans have been dissatisfied with his performances in the latter half of the season, but even if he was playing terribly (which he definitely was not) he's 20 years old and this is his first full season back since his leg break.

I'm far from his biggest fan, he's got potential but he's far from there yet. And I've questioned several of Wenger's calls in the past, but if he sold Ramsey to Fulham for 5 million this summer I'll go out and buy a Spurs shirt.

Call yourself an Arsenal fan...Jesus Christ.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like a Spurs fan causing trouble, and if it isnt, do one down the Lane with that view coz you aint welcome at The Emirates - support the players we have, especially ones that run themselves into the ground like Ramsey. Even on his off days he never goes missing.

True heart and fighting spirit is what we need more of.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rambo will be around and will have a much better second season with Jack and maybe a new signing to take some of the burden of his shoulders.

He is not despised (imho wenger will soon be :-)!)

Agree0 Disagree0

Notice how these type of posts are never signed off. No foundation to this post what so ever

Paul - Rochester

Agree0 Disagree0

I note that the person who posted this crap hasn'nt signed it. maybe to stop himself getting knee capped by real Arsenal fans. Go and support the spuds you horrible little man
Badulakahn the prophet

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe wenger will have him in over the pre season and work on he's passing and stopping the play and we'll have a much better player next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter nonsenseRamsey Despised by Arsenal fans no?Its spuds like you we hate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey is going to be a great player. He was used too much last season and it did him no favours, but I predict a really bright future for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Despised, really! i think not only fickle fans, he played a lot last year and was off form, you wait until a confident Ramsey combined with Wiltshire rule the prem.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have been reading posts on this site for the past year now and i think you lot should get off his back. To be fair, whenever Ramsey plays there's around five posts saying how sh*t he is. And another fan would post how he's been through an injury, how young he is. Then people slammed him in his comments. Imo 60% of the people here do despise him. But, it is great to hear someone backing him besides wenger. I haven't been to the emirates or highbury and i might never get a chance.. So as an outside fan, i think he's not so wrong saying some fans despise him.

dempsey to join arsenal on a 3 year deal and ramsey to go the other other way on a season long loan to fulham, the fee thought to be between 6 and 8 million pounds.

aaronk9

Believable42 Unbelievable28

No, rambo isn't going anywhere and as for dempsey well time will only tell

Agree0 Disagree0

Source?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd say that's a little expensive for arsenal with him being that age!

D

Agree0 Disagree0

Can see Ramsey going there, but not anymore deals regarding forwards.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take dempsey over ramsey now......but what about in 2-3 years.....he was always one for the future

Agree0 Disagree0

Most of our ones for the future never work out, rather have Dempsey to be honest

Agree0 Disagree0

Good deal for both clubs , if it were to happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dempsey wud be a great signin for us and the experience ramsey wud get from a year at fulham can only enhance his ability jus like wen owen coyle took wilshere too bolton he came back wit a bit of bite to his gameplay cud be great deal all round if it happens. Tom

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance! Rambo might go on loan only if we sign a decent midfielder and Dempsey isnt good enough for Arsenal.

Rob

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love to see dempsey at arsenal. Good scoring midfielder and proven in premier league. Much needed...

Hi Ed's,
Just read on various sites claiming to have authenticated wenger's quote about His interest in the young german winger Marco Reus.
Although this definitely sounds like good news...but with likes of podolski, walcott, giroud(rumored), gervinho and chambers do we need another winger or even a striker?
Do you have any insights on this issue?
Also, are you aware of arsenals stance over walcott's contract renewal?

Desi Gooner {Ed002's Note - Marco Reus has already agreed to join Borussia Dortmund - he like Hazard and Drogba will not be moving to Arsenal this summer.}

Believable12 Unbelievable22

The quotes on Reus have been mistranslated. They were speaking IN THE PAST TENSE, ie. Wenger was interested in Reus prior to his transfer to Dortmund.

Confirmed by a good source that M'Vila is on his way.
No more major signings unless we unload Fabianski.
RVP is to depart, I understand to Man City for £27.5m.
All from a very reliable source, which I cannot name for obvious reasons.

Believable21 Unbelievable21

Obvious reason being that it is made up

Agree0 Disagree0

Everything bs expect the first line which we all know is inevitable, rvp will sign a new contract. stop posting sh!t regrading sources you have no sources you spud scum

Agree0 Disagree0

Obvious reason is you are 12 yrs old and a knob

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see what unloading fabianski has to do with anything plenty of players need to go

Agree0 Disagree0

My favourate source is Tomato

Agree0 Disagree0

Total crap, you are an imbecile.

Agree0 Disagree0

Man city stated they will not go over £15 million for rvp

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely Arsenal wouldn't sell to Man City AGAIN! Don't believe it. He wouldn't betray us like that anyway. M'Vila would be good.

Agree0 Disagree0

First time poster, but just wanted the eds view on Rvp and tevez swap. Is it something that arsenal would look into

Sparkus {Ed002's Note - I would very much doubt it.}

Believable12 Unbelievable32

We can't offer super wages so tevez would have to take pretty much a 50% pay cut. Can't see that happening

Paul - Rochester

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, Wages is a large issue here. Also, I can't think of a reason why Tevez would join us from City, other than that Mancini is a complete tool.

The English press are great! The daily star is reporting that Arsene Wenger is on the case to sign Marco Reus. Erm hello didn't he sign for Dortmund already.

Essexgooner

Believable40 Unbelievable24

He signed for Dortmund in January but got loaned out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not too sure how you read the news items mate, it says Wenger showed interest and probably made a move for him but he decided to join Dortmund.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the unamed poster who said not sure how you read the news... well this is a quote from the daily mail Arsene Wenger has revealed he is "on the case" with Germany forward Marco Reus. Arsenal boss Wenger raved about Reus, 23, as he commentated on Germany v Greece for French TV.

so im not sure how you read the news MATE! but that says he is on the case

clearly the english press are lazy or stupid

Dan1CFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Reus signed in jan, but stayed at munchengladbach till July.

The chances of signing him are 0%

Even if they did decide to sell him it'd cost near £25m

Wenger probably said Reus played well, and the papers will take anything out of context.

D

STOP PRESS: Daily Star publish nonsense articles that have no basis in fact!

I am shocked and saddened by this revelation.

Hi Ed(s),
I was wondering if you know of interest from Real Madrid for Tevez, if so will this mean that there will be increased interest from Man City for RVP. Also I personally cannot see Higuain, Benzema and Tevez all in one team who play with one striker do you know (if the Tevez rumours are true) if Real Madrid will look to offload Higuain or Benzema?
Thank you for your help in advance.

Bermy Gooner {Ed002's Note - Manchester City want to unload Tevez, Dzeko and Adebayor. There remains a chance that Higuain will move. He was offered to Chelsea in January but PSG or possibly Italy seem likliest right now.}

ed with modric going to madrid on a player plus cash deal can you see ozil going to spurs or will they use alonso instead. as i would rather ozil to arsenal.plus last january alot of benzema romours to arsenal was floating around. just wondering why nothing more about that. plus matias suarez as a target for liverpool can you enlighten us plzz. belfast gooner {Ed002's Note - I would suspect that Spurs would hold out for cash and they buy who they want. In any case, Diarra and Kaka are likely first options. Granero is another. I would hold your breath about Oezil moving to Arsenal. Matias Suarez has a number of clubs looking at him. I would imagine I said something like "don't hold your breath about Benzema" back in January.}

Believable7 Unbelievable10

Just wanted to confirm you meant to say "I would hold your breath" about Oezil coming to arsenal ED 002

Aussie Gunnah {Ed002's Note - It was perfectly clear. As I have said before - don't hold your breath over Benzema, Hazard, Goertz.}}

Agree0 Disagree0

The player plus cash is sahin.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok sounds as if you know something Ed002 about oezil coming. I've heard the rumours but have you heard something more concrete? Enlighten us Ed. Would love this to be true.

Aussie gunnah

Agree0 Disagree0

This is wish ful thinking to the max, Oezil is playing out of his skin in Euro and has done that year round for RM and they will sell him to us? Makes no sense. stop sniffing glue :)

Ash

Agree0 Disagree0

Both Ozil and Alonso are better than Modric so why would they pay money and players for him? :L
Very strange 'rumour'/lie!
BR

Agree0 Disagree0

Ozil is one of the top 3 playmakers in world football and mourinho absolutely loves him there is more chance of us getting messi!! dream on
