Rumours in papers this morning that the mancs (utd) want Cazorla. What are the odds that a swap deal with Rooney could happen (not in a thousand years I would want it to happen)

Believable3 Unbelievable125

As if wenger would swap carzola for rooney, yeah swap a game changer for a waste of space rooney, this rumour is so stupid only something you see in football manager 13.

The rumour is about manchester wanting to buy Cazorla, not about a swap deal!

Jovetic is not coming to Arsenal. Deal was never on anyway. Any Rooney or Lewandovski rumours are false. Expect Wenger to sign a striker from either the Dutch Eredivisie or Bundesliga.

Believable61 Unbelievable37

How about Lewandowski from the Bundesliga!!

Agree3 Disagree1

Jozy Altidore! Alright America! I want Lewandowski tho.

Agree0 Disagree1

Hopefully we can sign mignolet or cesar

Agree0 Disagree1

Lewandovski won't sign. Another Bundesliga striker Stefan Kißling of Bayern Leverkusen looks more likely. As does Wilfried Bony of Vittese Arnehm. Both would be available for around £10m.

hi guys i'm new and called jackthegooner, apparently jovetic deal is off ow and he insists on staying in italy

Believable53 Unbelievable11

Good as he's not good enough to play for us. He's another chamakh at best. Wenger needs to pull his finger out and break the wage structure as we'll never attract top players with out it

Agree1 Disagree1

Welcome Jackthegooner

any interest in suarez {Ed029's Note - Certainly not from the Gunners mate.}

Believable7 Unbelievable60

I'd imagine he would cost close to 60m! That's crazy but he is some player!

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't care how ill-disciplined he is, I would bring him to the gunners asap. Very talented: dribbles, scores. Well worth the risk. If he is going to bite a player a season and score 20+ goals, I would still take him!

Questions please Ed's.

I there any interest in Ignacio Scacco from Newels Old Boys? Looks to have a pretty decent all round game and good stats to boot.

Nas {Ed029's Note - Certainly not from the Gunners mate.}

Rooney to arsenal 200k a week being thrown around a few sites. I can't see this this happening myself but could be 20/30 goals a season signing.

Believable24 Unbelievable63

I watched him this season and I think he has lost something from previous years, maybe a move would bring it back, but i'm not sure. Maybe a change of club would do it but I believe it is a gamble not the sure thing it was a few years ago

Agree1 Disagree0

Notwithstanding Rooney's transfer fee, wages and image rights (oh really), there is no doubt he is not the player he was 2-3 years ago and every indication that he will get heavier and less mobile quite quickly. Three years from now, he will have absolutely no resale value.
However he is also the complete antithesis to everything Mr Wenger and I believe a sizeable percentage of our support stands for. Not an-anti MUFC sentiment on my part, Rooney is simply a reflection of all that is wrong in football today.
Even on a free he would not be worth the hassle he would create.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a miserable git, would bring the whole team down with his 'united wouldn't do that attitude' don't waste our money.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a pointless post!

Agree0 Disagree0

Even though he has gained weight and lost speed, he is still a force. I would take Rooney right now. Would have to take a paycut though, would put him par with Poldi

According to a few pages I follow on and some dodgy news sites, Wayne Rooney seems to be our number 1 target atm and are willing to break our wage structure for him. Any truth to this eds? Thanks! {Ed027's Note - No

arsenal very much linked with rooney in this mornings papers, I know not to always trust the papers, but would be nice to hear what you think about it, and the chances of it happening eds
thanks {Ed027's Note - Doubt it

Eds, who is more likely to happen in the summer out of Victor Wanyama and Maxime Gonalons and who would you personally prefer for arsenal nect season?

Thanks {Ed029's Note - Ed02 said a while back on another page that Gonalons would be a player making the move to The Emirates this summer.}

Believable37 Unbelievable6

Don't think that wanyama would improve the team. over rated player in a 1 team league now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rubbish. wanyamas strength power and presence would definitely improve our team

Ed, what is that site called? {Ed029's Note - It was one of the other team pages.}
