The premier league as always is the bench mark that by all young players futures are decided.
Jay Simpson and Jay Emanuel Thomas were two I thought would make it Frimpong too but ultimately being able to hold your own in the bread and butter premier league is minimum requirement, cup games where the best players are rested on both sides isn't the best guide.

Seen there’s rumours of reus perhaps leaving Dortmund and we’re interested. What do people think of this if true. Personally I’m fully aware of his talents but I am concerned about his injury problems.

I would be interested to see what the price would be for him a fit reus three years ago would be an 150 million player in this climate. Serious injurys and a year to go and probably 30 at the time will surely have the price no more than 20 million🤔 One of my favourite players and one who I always would have given my organs up to have at the club.

Have always wanted to see him play in the premiership and see him as an Arsenal type player. As others have said, now a bit too old and injury prone, but he still knows how to score goals. I would still love to get him if he came on the cheap, but would be upset if he came in on the cheap just to replace Sanchez. However get him in just to strengthen the squad, then that would be a big yes from me.
