Ed have we spoken to Barcelona or his agent in relation to Alexis Sanchez, please confirm, you stated a while back you didn't think it would happen, had anything changed. Thanks

Believable2 Unbelievable6

{Ed002's Note - I have said that Barcelona know of the interest from Arsenal and that I, myself, think it unlikely. There are no hour by hour updates.}

Have it on very good authority that Rooney will be an Arsenal player by the start of the season.
Mr Salmon is the judge!

Believable4 Unbelievable54

{Ed025's Note - hmmm..

I've caught a few Salmon in the past and if you leave them in the sun to long they all smell fishy so good luck with that 1 and I hope your wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hm, something fishy about this

Seamus Coleman signs new 5 year deal with Everton would have loved him at Arsenal. A lot of happy Everton fans.

Believable15 Unbelievable2

{Ed025's Note - there are paul.. :)

He's ok but I'd prefer aurier

Agree0 Disagree1

Good player I just hope we get another half decent player and give some of our players a chance for a change, i.e. jenks

Arsenal WILL sign Khedira after the World Cup.

You heard it here first. Mark my words.

Believable16 Unbelievable29

{Ed025's Note - i will hold you to that greeny.. :)

While city won't be adding him to their ranks due to Yaya and fernandinho and fernando now covering that position, and with liverpool and chelsea also well stocked in that position, I would think bayern and madrid will have some sort of a kroos khedira swap or sale to fix their respective sides.

besides the fact I would love him at arsenal its beyond me what those who make decisions are even doing at this moment.

how come other clubs are signing players while we are left talking about those players and not ours.

the only thing coming so far is remy for 8 mill, and while dags would be happy, its a shambles to bring a player who giroud can better
.

Agree0 Disagree1

Agree laker! I do like remy but to me we don't want someone to play second fiddle to giroud. We need someone to battle it out with giroud and push both to their best. And it is frustrating that other clubs seem to be moving quicker but long way to go. Although I've found myself saying that each season

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - for me remy is a standout player in a poor side (QPR, Newcastle) , but would be an average joe in a decent side D16, he would be a good squad player, but i dont think the guys at the statue works will be honing their chisels any time soon mate.. :)

26 Jun 2014 23:49:12
agreed 025 they may take a year off or 2 if that'd the range of striker we are looking at.

I think Remy is a good player no doubting that but at best he is a good replacement for an injured Giroud and nothing more but that's my opinion sorry Dags

Agree0 Disagree0

Whenever I watch real madrid play I can't help but being utterly fustrated with khedira. in my opinion he's clumsy, slow, doesn't contribute to goals or assists going forward, and isn't a solid rock defensively, a player like javi martinez (who isn't particularly in favour at munich) and is a much more solid defensively would be better option. avalaible without having to break the bank he'd be idealin my opinion.

ED025, are we in for sanchez yes or no or is it just usual media spin.

Believable8 Unbelievable6

{Ed025's Note - do arsenal want him...yes, will they get him...no, he is the media darling at the moment haymaker, and someone will offer him silly money imo mate..

We could be that someone though couldn't we?, they're must be a chance surely.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - there is always a chance haymaker..thats why we all keep doing the lottery mate..

Haha, remy it is then typical wenger.

hi ED
whose favourites (if anyone is) for greizman? he's a perfect young winger that would work nicely in our team, I know there's been interest from Arsenal but are real sociadad willing to sell or is another team favourite?
reply would be appreciated

Believable4 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Marseille, Rennes, Fiorentina and Lyon have shown some interest in Griezmann in the past year and repordedly Barcelona tool a look at one time. Whilst Griezmann has said on several occasions that he has no plans to leave Spain anytime soon, the financial problems being faced by Real Sociedad may still see him leave the club in the summer. He has had a good season which have led to enquiries being made by Juventus, Arsenal and Chelsea. Manchester United and PSG had the player watched on more than one occasion and both are looking toward making a transfer happen. Interest from Juventus has gone due to the asking price and Chelsea seem to have dropped their interest. I rather suspect Barcelona may look again.}

When the clubs enquired do you have any idea of what price tag they gave him? because if he's too expensive as usual wenger won't move for him, however I really hope he does but anything over 20 million I don't see wenger trying!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I have no interest in discussing money.}

26 Jun 2014 14:34:59
hi ED, I know bony is looking for a top 6 team and since we supposedly don't want ballotelli do you think wenger will move for wilfried? plus swansea have already agreed a deal for gomis as a replacement?
reply would be appreciated.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - Swansea have no desire to sell Bony but have said that if they double what they paid for him they will talk to any bidding club and the player - that puts it above £24M or so. Certainly Arsenal have considered him.}

26 Jun 2014 12:05:12
Any updates over Aurier since they've been knocked out?

Believable0 Unbelievable7

{Ed002's Note - No, nothing happened overnight.}

What is the situation with Theo? Last year when he went under th knife I am fairly sure it was said it would be about 4-6 months with non- arsnal experts saying it could be a lot quicker. The physio site now says he will be available at end of January 2015.? Sureky that's excessive.

Believable1 Unbelievable6

{Ed025's Note - surely that cant be right ECE...if he had both legs amputated iwould expect him back sooner than that!

ACL injury are pretty much 8-10 months depending on the player. Some take longer to get back to full speed though

Agree0 Disagree0

Especially a player who relies on speed and changes of direction like Theo. Can understand not rushing him back. Personally think as long as the Ox is fit it won't be a huge loss.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think theo would be a massive loss to any top prem side wire..

I agree but I'd rather have Theo take his time in recovery and come back full strength than rush himself back and possibly be less than 100%. Ox can cover for him in the time it takes to be fully fit
