Erik Lamela is a fantastic player and Arsenal should really be linked with him.

He plays for A.S Roma after moving from River Plate at the start of this season so although he has not been there long maybe the lure of the Champions League football would interest him. At 20 years old he is at the start of his career so even if we don't sign him now he is definately one for the future although i wouldn't leave it too long because eventually a lot of the best teams in the world will be after him.

He plays CAM so he could be the person that provides Arsenal with that little bit of magic that they sometimes need and standing at 6ft tall he's not exactly easy to push off the ball which could be the difference between him making it in the Premier League or not. For someone as tall as he is he possesses sublime close control with an armory of skills to go with it which he is not afraid to use. He has the vision to pick a pass and to cap off this long list of attributes,it may not seem long but i have not mentioned quite a few, he has a lot of pace about him which can prove to be useful

I say watch a few videos of him on youtube and form your own opinion. He could be a massive addition to Arsenal,now or in the future, for their push for silverware. {Ed002's Note - Any future move to England almost certainly out due to some very shady ownership issues.}

Believable6 Unbelievable14

I agree he is a fantastic player but this is unlikely. if it was last summer i'd've said we shoould sign him

Agree0 Disagree0

He is fantastic and if we offer a reasonable sum and maybe a player as well I think it could happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Just looked at stats and 34 games only 3 assists and 4 goals is poor

Agree0 Disagree0

Dude in fifa 2012 i got eric lamela in my arsenal team....n guess what his movements were excellent n his rating were 85 out of 100.....hes def on for the future.....

I keep hearing Arsenal linked with M'Vila, Kagawa, Hazard, Vertonghen, and Giroud, which is well and good.

What we haven't been linked with is a right back, and IMO that's what we need most. Sagna is getting old/injured, and although it's a bit early to tell, I don't think Jenkinson quite has what it takes to be considered a realistic option for (potentially) a very significant amount of the season while Sagna is out.

EDs, have you heard about Arsenal being linked with any proper fullbacks?

Montana Gooner

Believable7 Unbelievable18

Trolling eh?

Baca is 29, hardly a pensioner. He's not injury prone. He's been on the end of poor tackles. Before he broke his leg against Spurs, he barely missed a game. Jenkinson will be good for us.

Slick Mick

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree that we need to bring in a good back-up for Sagna. I also think we need to bring in a decent left-back and have Andre Santos as cover for anywhere down the left. Send Gibbs out on loan or sell him because I can't see him becoming a great left-back for us.

Look at Man City - they have Clichy and Kolarov at left-back and Richards and Zabaleta at right-back. We need to have depth in every position if we are to challenge for the title once again because we will get injuries and a lack of depth will end up costing us again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jenkinson will be a quality fullback in 2 or 3 years time. Can we rely on sagna to recover perfectly from a second leg break? Can we rely on jack to recover from a year off?

Im sure arsene is thinking about these things, because its a huge gamble, both to buy, or not too buy and rely on them to come good.

Plenty of great fullbacks..just whether arsenal will ever buy someone thats recognised as good...

Agree0 Disagree0

Is 29 old now!? :/

Agree0 Disagree0

Sagna has been consistently 1 of the best rights backs around for 2/3 years, & is not old, we will have to see about the leg but i recon he will be OK. If not, while Jenks had a slow start ( who wouldnt have the way he was thrown in) before he picked up the back injury he had put in some quality performances, think he will do well for us.

Ashman

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think jenkinson is anywhere near good enough to be honest - even as second fiddle - mbiwa can play across the back line and if we sign him i'd like to think he would be second choice RB
AG

Agree0 Disagree0

I really hope so. Sagna is great but I do worry about two leg breaks in 1 year. Also Jenks looks WAAAAY out of his depth in the prem. He is slow, cannot pass and cannot tackle, I for one hope he never plays for us again as he sucks. Maybe we should look a Montpellier player Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa

Agree0 Disagree0

This strengthens the case for mbwia

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe we should get debuchy and loan out jenkinson? only an idea.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe we should get criscito or radu then loan out gibbs

Agree0 Disagree0

Sagna is one of, if not THE best right back in the premier league. He's 29 years old; barely too old. And he's not injury prone, he broke 2 ankles. You can barely blame a player for having a huge amount of bad luck. Jenkinson will be a good player- he's been showing great potential this season, as has Coquelin who has played there on occasion. You're one of those people who will have a go at Wenger for signing young players and then say that 29 is too old! Get real.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Sagna doesn't recover, we will sign van de Wiel...watch this space

I, apologize for any offense caused by my entries on this site, I'm only trying to express the honest views of my sources, unfortunately i cannot name my sources due to their strong links to Arsenal Football club.

Thank you for your co-operation.

yours truly, Malaga Gooner

Believable10 Unbelievable22

It's all good fun. I think you are working on the hope that one of these predictions come's true. Last transfer window you missed out so your having another go now, allways with a player who has been linked with the club by the press, twatter and uncle Tom cobly. Good luck with this one.

Believable7 Unbelievable13

Kevin Boateng is who I refer to

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done sy4 you have found the arsenal site can you stay here instead of coming on the city site spouting your jealous drivel

Agree0 Disagree0

Boateng+NO CHANCE

Agree0 Disagree0

Capoue looks like he could move. giround could join if rvp is sold. gourcuff this might just actually happen. dempsey could happen but too old for me personally. tasci weren't we linked with him during 2010 world cup

26 May 2012 18:09:56
So vertonghen has said to spuds. Sign me or I move to arsenal. Should it not be the other way round??
I hope we don't bother with him if he thinks they are a better first choice.

Paul - Rochester

Believable35 Unbelievable4

I read somewhere that Vertonghen is afraid he won't get much playing time in his favoured cb position at arsenal.

Maybe he doesn't like competiton.

I think afc showed a certain amount of interest but never followed it thats why all the hints,if he that gd you wouldnt worry to much cb /vm spuds are desperate to sign him

hope people are watching germany play the swiss right now

Mertesacker is having an absolute stinker.
Podolski is a bit out of it at the moment on the wing...

Swiss currently winning 2-0

Believable18 Unbelievable4

Mertesacker having a stinker?

Never....

G95

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh yeah? The same Mertesacker who's been injured for months and is nowhere near match fit? Who, even though he isn't fit, is still selected by one of football's top nations? That Mertesacker right?

Slick Mick

Agree0 Disagree0

I expect mertesacker to be a little rusty I'm sure this is first game since the injury back in February.

Agree0 Disagree0

First game since a long lay off. Give him a break.

Bradders

Agree0 Disagree0

Mert played well although he was at fault for the 2nd (I think, lost count) was left doing the job of 2 people though with hummels taking it upon himself to be Germany's centre forward winger and attacking mid.

Ben X

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love people to get on the back of vermaelen too since he had a very average season. Anyways leave mert alone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ten months go I would have been quick to dismiss. Then I think of Kos' season, and I think that adjustment ca make a huge difference. He'S hoping that Per adjusts...

noticed that caen have been relegated from the french top division. maybe we should sign m'baye niang of them. he's 17/18 years old been described as the next thierry henry so that can only be good. this would be a good opportunity to get him if we want him as this will be as cheap as we will be able to get him for. {Ed002's Note - M'Baye Niang is a 17 year old with difficulties remaining over his contract. He could not move without a parent or guardian moving with him until he is 18. Price is meaningless as he counts as a "student". Perhaps one for the future. In the unlikely event he leaves France I suspect it will be to Inter.}

Believable10 Unbelievable4

Hi ed, not sure if I'm right but don't arsenal have a system where young foreign players are put up by "foster" families. I'm sure thats what happened with fabregas when he came over as 15 year old? I may well be wrong but thought I'd ask.

Paul - Rochester {Ed022's Note - Not that I am aware of, that seems very very unethical.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe we could try and sign him in january then.

M'villa 1/10 to join us on sky bet that looks like good news to me, also if RVP goes we obviously need a world class replacement but if he stays and with the option of podolski through the middle and joel campbell maybe getting his WP we only need a back up experienced striker, no need to spend £10-20 mill when we can spend it elsewhere so who do you guys want if RVP stays as a cheap back up? Owen (free) Fletcher or doyle from wolves (maybe 5m) sure there are loads of strikers out there who would do a decent job for us

Believable11 Unbelievable10

Owen sin't played games in ages and doyle hasn't been good enough this season. while fletcher he has actually been good this seaon

Shocked that big teams aren't after Dembele, he is top quality and would fit in especially well at Arsenal. Please Wenger, sign this gem.

WIth all the RVP talk. I think he loves arsenal and he and his family want to stay in london, but he wants to win something because he is getting old. so i think he will wait until january and then re-assess his contract and situation. If we have bought good players and are challenging for trophies, he'll commit. If not, he'll leave.

Anyone who's been speaking negatively about alex song needs to go onto the arsenal website and watch all the goals from the goal of the season vote. Just check out his assists that man has provide. He needs a new 4 or 5 year contract if you ask me.

James

Believable34 Unbelievable8

He had alot of games last season, where he was useless first half, then came out for second half and was like a different player.
Personally I think hes a good player.

A GOONER

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree but he needs cover when he burst up field

Agree0 Disagree0

Same here he's class

Agree0 Disagree0

We all know how good he is, its just against the 'lesser' team that he sometimes look disinterested. There is no doubting his talent though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Definately agree, top player

Agree0 Disagree0

All good watching his assists, but there isnt a video with the times he has failed to do his defensive work and opposition have scored. Needs to be replaced with a proper dcm.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think anyone has been speaking too critically of Song. I think most would agree that he's one of our best players. His long range passing reminded me of Fabregas at times last season.

The only knock on him is that he pushes up too far sometimes and leaves us exposed on the counter. Song paired with M'Vila, with Arteta or Wilshire in front of them would be one of the best midfields in the world.

Agree0 Disagree0

Needs a DM behind him. But also can't rely on him to be the main AM.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on

MiracleGunner

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on James, Song has been huge for us and is only going to get better.

Agree0 Disagree0

Erm..to the fella that reckons he needs to be replaced with a proper dcm; he'd have done a lot better without having to play amongst players like Djourou, Ramsey, Santos & Mertersacker. If they did their jobs even close to efficiently it would help. Without RVP's goals & the likes of Song, Rosicky & Arteta we wouldn't have Champions League next season. People need to take a reality check and see where the real problems lie.

Agree0 Disagree0

FFS people, Song is a good player, but as an actual DM ( which is the position he is playing) he is absolutely terrible. He wanders forward blindly, leaving the defence open to counter attacks, which means we concede goal against terrible teams which if we had a disciplined DM we would thrash.

If he player further up field as more of a battling CM with a DM behind him, or in a formation in which an out and out DM isnt needed then he'd be great, but unless on of these happens, we should ship him out before he makes more mistakes that cost us games

JC

Agree0 Disagree0

Alex Song's assists and attacking play are all very well, but his primary role in the team is to prtect the back four. He is constantly caught too far upfield/out of position and switches off and lets his player run off the back of him far too often to accepet at this level.
He's a good player but needs to concentrate more.

Agree0 Disagree0

i don't know about anyone else but i really miss eduardo da silva at arsenal. i felt he was a superb option of the bench when he was here as he could actually score some goals unlike chamakh and park(well park can score goals but has rarely played so he hasn't scored many goals).
:(

Believable23 Unbelievable5

What a pointless comment.. thats like saying i really miss bergkamp!

Agree0 Disagree0

I loved Eduardo mate, I really did, one of the coolest finishers you'll ever see, but after his horror injury, and to no-fault of his own can I add, he wasn't as determined to win the ball, he'd pull out off 50/50's with defenders, and that prompted us to sell.

Quite frankly if ANYONE here had sufferers an injury of that severity, I doubt many would even want to play again,And some of the chants aimed at him, which I won't repeat, were dispicable, and anyone caught singing then should of been banned from EPL stadia for life.
he should of been given a bit more of a chance by our club, and as you say, would of been a fantastic option, the fans here still love him too, do you think anyone else would of been given the reception he was given after scoring AGAINST us?

Great player, great athlete, great man,I hope he continues to do well in Ukraine, and I'm glad people on here remember him mate.

D

Spot on capital D, i think in the end he just needed to move on though. For his own sake, it seems the fresh start did him good & i like others am glad he is doing well.

arsenal are set for a bidding war with man city for a top italian league left back/centre back. that player i believe is stefan radu

just heard arsene wenger is looking for a promising young striker who is already a national superstar. the name that keeps proping up is andriy yarmolenko.

Believable4 Unbelievable15

If that's true, he's mad!

Joel Campbell ticks all those boxes!

Agree0 Disagree0

True joel campbell ticks all those boxes. but andriy yarmolenko has apparently got the potential to be better than schevcenko (the ex ac milan striker that flopped for chelsea)

So..inter-milan without CL football next year...

Maicon?
Cambiasso?
Forlan?
Milito?
Coutinho?
Muntari? (Better than m'vila)

And ibrahimovic has come out and said that AC milan have financial problems stopping them from getting the players he needs to win things. (he needs..haha)

So maybe they'd be willing to release someone...

Pato? (Id take pato over giroud)

There are so many footballers that are proven, that are available at the right price...it irks me that All I can see on here is m'vila hazard and giroud.

Anyone watch belgium/montenegro last night? Fellaini was average...hazard was average...vertonghen looked ok, nothing amazing. Montenegro looked sharp - some decent players in their team.

Likewise, bilabo vs barca...Bilbao dont have cl football next year. I know players have strong ties to that area of spain, but still - they can be bought!

So - martinez?
Lllorente? (again, better than giroud)
muniain? (In my mind, he is better than hazard)

Lets see some new names on here folks! we can keep positive by not being stuck in the same rut as last summer, by repeating a players name over and over again in the hope that he comes.

cheers

Believable12 Unbelievable8

I would love it if we could get Muniain, I think he's going to be massive.

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously this a rumour website so everyone enjoys to fantasize about who they would love to sign and who the club think they are signing. But honestly, can you ever remember when Arsenal signed a host of top quality European players for over 17M plus?

i believe everyone should stop getting there hopes up about perspective signings because Arsenal never spend unless they sell, and its likely that RVP is set to leave - he would of signed a new contract already right?

my opinion is that Poldolski is a replacement for RVP IF he leaves, and if he doesnt then he'll most likely be on the wing. I reckon we'll sign another midfielder, but it certainly will not be M'Vila for over 17m, honestly, we're all Arsenal fans, all this conjecture about M'Vila talks and bids is a load of BS. I do not believe we are even interested in him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im guessing u see the same names on here because there the players that r linked to us through media etc. No real point of picking random players with no link...its not like afc read this page and take ideas lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Pato Over Giroud... I Stopped Reading After

Agree0 Disagree0

How is muntari better than m'vila? m'vila's younger, more recognised and wanted my more clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

What has this got to do with arsenal?

Agree0 Disagree0

Dembele? or allen? or yanga-mbiwa? or dempsey? or capoue? or gordon? or dragovic? or criscito? or butland? or redmond? or baines? or barkely? or yarmolenko? enough names or not?

Agree0 Disagree0

As none of us are the transfer negotiating team and the window has not opened yet, we can reel off an endless list of potentials at our hearts content...it makes no difference...so let's all take it easy, take our medications and sit back and watch....
es

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do people constantly say don't get your hopes up we don't spend big, we had a 22 million bid last year turned down for m'villa

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol pato over giroud? pato is so over-rated. giroud scores goals.. simples!

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres is a better striker than giroud, but giroud scores more goals

Also, 75% of the time, a person on here linking us to a player, has just as much authority as the media linking us, with neither having any insight whatsoever.

'Pato over giroud...I stopped reading After'

Good idea m8, get yourself back onto youtube so that you can make some more opinions on players you dont watch every week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maicon? Hes good but i think hes on level par with Sagna so theres no need for him.
Cambiasso? Yea h could do a decent job for a year or two but he getting pretty old and isnt the same player he was a few years ago.
Forlan? Too old and has lost his way. Dont think he even scored 5 goals this year? Not the type of player we should be after.
Milito?Great goalscorer and i think he could do it for a nother year, maybe two but he wouldnt get a starting pace at Arsenal so cant really see it happening.
Coutinho?Fantastic prospect and i believe he will be a great player but if he leaves inter i can only really see him going to Spain. Would be worth punt on.
Muntari? (Better than m'vila) No way is he better than M'vila. M'vila is younger, better passer, better physical attributes and better all round player. i not sure how you came up with this conclusion but i can remember Muntari having a loan spell with Sunderland and he made no impact at all with them, he was just an averagee player there so No chance he going to Arsenal and no chanc hes better that Yann.

Matias Suarez said: "Bayern Munich are the most concrete team for now. My agents are dealing with it at the moment. They asked me whether I was interested, and I have obviously given them the green light. I'm open to a move to Germany.
"Anderlecht want me to stay until after the Champions League qualifiers, but I want to move on. I want to move to a bigger club in a better league."

Wow...for a player that signed some form of contract with arsenal, he doesnt seem to know much about it?

Javier perez = 1 more failed prediction.

Hello gooners!! How are you all enjoying the game Arsenal Press is playing with the fans? Anyways I have something to share with all of you. Can be a bit lengthy but certainly would be worth it.

Starting off with rosicky.. As you may have been informed uptil now that he signed an extension way back in january and it was kept in dark for about two months. Northbanklower was the first one to reveal it.. I too got the confirmation the very next morning.. So what does it suggest? You know at whom I am pointing at.. But to be very honest that episode is being kept in secrecy.. No one knows apart from kees vos, rvp, gazidis, dick law and arsene what was discussed that day. Ohkay maybe dareen dein too but he wasnt present at the meeting though you can count him in.. And i repeat no one's grandpa or grandmother was eavesdropping from a nearby tree.. No one.

Moving on to mvila. This saga is getting a bit boring... And I admit i havent received such polarized info where so many decent sources(8 to be honest) seems divided. There exists two camps and both are very reliable judging by their past record so its very difficult to choose one. However I am with the camp who are advocating a deal for mvila.. And mind you all, I dont have any journos who I am counting in, not even laurens julien.. I dont trust journos to be very honest, I do not get my info from them.. Anyways I have something to add. There are hiccups regarding the mode of payment and bonuses involved in the deal, if I am to believe the camp who are in favour of this deal going through.. Also bac sagna came out yesterday and expressed his admiration for the midfielder. People were quick to jump on those comments and think mvila is now arsenal bound. Do you remember last summer, sagna praised saphic too. Did that transfer materialize? So take it lightly. But the very next day, sagna has popped up on twitter and clearified what he actually meant.. Now people to be very honest, footballers dont itch that much about what fans think re their statement about a certain player and are not so quick to clearify it the very next morning.. Still lets hope for the best. Moving onto david(bbc reporter) who everyone is accusing of making up stories and brought forward his claims regarding arteta to prove him wrong. Do you know that laurens julien was also sure of a certain david beckham move to psg? However I do admit he was then the first to also suggest that it had broken down. What I am suggesting is no one always gets it spot on not even me. AND WITH JOURNOS ITS ALWAYS 50-50. If mvila camp really did informed david that no transfer to arsenal will happen then this is the same camp who communicated through laurens julien that a deal is all but done. This further corroborates, dont trust agents and journos. So that's the mvila situation in a nutshell.

Moving on to giroud. I can confirm it, giroud is not being looked at as a primary replacement for rvp. Yes we are serious about him but not as a primary replacement.

Kagawa is where we are really trying to work our socks off but I still think united are favorites but hazard's move will have a major say.. So lets hope united get hazard and we get kagawa. Fingers crossed. I wont be surprised if at some point, AW starts looking at gourcuff. No approaches as of yet.

I hope I provided some nice insight. Looking forward to post again as soon as I get something. If you want to trust me well and good, if not then no worries people. But I would urge caution. Still some way to go and cheer up it has only been two weeks since the season got over. RELAX!

HAMS

Believable21 Unbelievable7

Fantastic post - long - but all good content. I too am hoping hazard goes to man utd. We have to accept that we are not in the running and kagawa is a good player.

In regards to giroud, I can't see this happened unless we lose RVP, chamakh and park. Finding buyers will not be easy. I can see him going to PSG after a dissappointing euros.

M'vila i believe is 50/50. But capoue is a good alternative.

Billybob

I appreciate your comments Billybob. This was the first time I decided to post on here though I know this site from a very long time.. Always used to visit it whenever I thought the world was coming to an end. Anyways I do like capoue and would welcome him. But some fans dont understand it and their expectations have already been upped with mvila links.. As for giroud, obvioulsy chamakh and park need to leave first but I still stand by what I heard, he is not being looked as a primary replacement for rvp.. So lets keep our fingers crossed re kagawa and mvila.. Looking to get some new info very soon and will surely post it.

INSIGHT? Into what, you bigging yourself up,and telling us nothing. Don't know if you've noticed mate, but most people on here either speculate, express their wildest dreams or re-cycle old news, congratulations my friend, you'll fit in nicely!

Agree0 Disagree0

Criticism accepted. But stating Giroud being seriously considered but not as a primary replacement for rvp when everyone else reckons he will be the replacement when persie leaves.. I havent seen many to be very honest who have come out and put forward rosicky's contract situation and how it remained in dark.. People can come out and speculate but kagawa is no speculation though I admit it is recycled.. And that mvila situation.. I havent seen many who have popped up with mode of payment and bonuses stuff on here and I havent noticed anyone out here who has focused on this saga from the perspective of the quartet-David, Laurens Julien, Arsenal Press office and mvila camp... I think elevating and creating rumors and speculations is what one should do to basically provide an insight. My friend open the dictionary and look out what "INSIGHT" actually means.

Okay people I have something to add. All those Joe Allen rumors that we have put in a bid of 3mill and how it was dismissed as a speculation, hold yourself because we actually did bid for him and the amount was 5mill not 3mill. No club will come out and admit it that they have been subjected to a bid for one of their prized assets.. It takes time and stepping up from the bidder.

Arsene wenger is about to offer £30 mil for ended hazard this money is the money he was going to use for gotže but as he has just signed a new contract at Dortmund he won't be moving to the emirates {Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath.}

BBC Sport's David Ornstein has made contact with Yann M'Vila's people and they've made it clear that he wont be joining Arsenal, but will instead go to another European club.

Hi Eds, I was just wondering whether you think the chances of us signing Giroud or Dempsey was dependent upon us changing our formation? If RVP stays I can't imagine that Giroud would want to sit on the bench !

Allo fellow Gunners

I was talking to another Gunner a work yesterday who is friends with some body pretty high in Everton and he said that Phil Jagielka is on he's way to Arsenal. I know he's been on AW's radar before, Ed's have you heard anything?

Burtonwood Gooner {Ed002's Note - Nothing about Jagielka.}

A transfer window doesn't go by without someone mentioning Jagielka.

ed and fella..how about this..my suggestion that wenger should consider these players to brought in this summer are:

1.dembele/demsey-attacking midfielder(around 7-10million maybe)or
erikson from ajax but difficult to lure him(15million)

2.vertonghen-centre back(7 million + djourou)

3.danny simpson-right back as backup for sagna then send out jenkinson for loan(perhaps below 5million bid enough)

4.striker we need got
i) giroud(just as reported 6million + chamakh)maybe more attractive we add park chu young in the deal.
or
ii) lewandowski(10million + bedtner)-sczcesny can play part to lure him as they are teammate in poland squad.
iii) promote our young player.

5)goalkeeper there is craig gordon(free) or vorm(5-7million) or steve mandanda(8-10million)

what would you alls expect..any of these players will sign for arsenal next season?

According to Caughtoffside, Arsenal want to make an £6.4 million + Marouane Chamakh fro Olivier Giroud. And Arsene wants to make a £32million offer for Eden Hazard. I know this seems unlikely but we never now. If both of this would happen I think thats enough attackers but if we could get Junior Hoilett on a free, he could be back up.

Ive also seen that Arsenal could seal a £12.5million offer for Jan Vertonghen as he thinks that Tottenham are taking too long for the deal.

A deal for Yann M'Vila could be great as well and I've seen Sagna been pushing some hints he could be coming.

If Arsene pulls this off then we have the potential for the League title.

Offload:
Park
Bendtner
Diaby
Mertesacker
Almunia
Denilson
Vela
Chamakh
Gibbs (loan)
Ramsey (loan)

Szecesny
Sagna Vertonghen Koscielny Vermaelen
Song
Wilshere M'vila Arteta
Van Persie Hazard/Podolski

Subs:Giroud, Chamberlain, Jenkinson, Rosicky, Santos etc

Believable6 Unbelievable25

As much as I'd love Arsenal to spend 40 odd million, even with the sales, it's highly unlikely. We got 22 million for Nasri and 25 million upfront for Fab, and he spent 20 million on Arteta and Mertesacker. Arteta is good but Mertesacker is shakey and I can't see Arsene changing his buying policy.

I don't know why everyone is getting so worked up about transfers already. The window hasn't opened yet we have just been spoilt because we confirmed a quality signing already.
Even if we don't get the players fans on here want im sure we will get quality signings.
As a lot of people have stated on here we need to sell to clear squad space and free up wages. Keep calm gooners Just because some journalist rights something doesn't make it true don't always believe it. Wait to after the euros start transfer talk will die for a while!

Believable18 Unbelievable1

Weird how people get so worked up about transfers on a transfer rumour site, isn't it?
