Just a couple of things I heard wanyama agent talking to a few clubs as he wants more money on his way to us or united. 2nd point all this talk of strikers jovetic higuian rooney all would way more than 100k a week so maybe an unkown guy from a lesser european league

Unbelievable19
Expect Chelsea to pinch Jovetic now that Falcao has left for monaco. So many teams with big money and not enough players to go around.

Im from Scotland, the league standards up here shocking, taking Wanyama on would be a huge risk, even though he looks goo in Europe performing at that level week in week out is a different matter. Seen it with Jelavic, Steve Davis & Naismith who have all went down south and apart from a half season from Davis have been major flops. The defensive mid who should be brought in should already be playing at a higher standard. Dazzy.

Jovetic would proberly be on around £100k a week which we can afford

Now THAT'S ambition.

I think we have had enough 'unknown guys' from lesser European leagues. Don't you?

The thing is with Wanyama Dazzy is he is very young, still only 20, 21. With the coaching he would get at Arsenal he could turn into a world beater.

Some info: AW going after two cm Pogba and? (Gon, Gren, Kond, Wana, Capou even Elm has been discussed.
Believable13

As good as Pogba is Wenger tends to avoid player with attitude problems and Pogba has one hell of a attitude problem. Also why would he want to leave Juventus?

Lyon have made an approach to Arsenal to take 25-year-old forward Gervinho on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.

If so, I would use Gervinho as leverage for a deal for either Grenier or Gonalons
Agree2

This just hear say.
Everyone has seen how much of a flop Gerv has been since arriving and therefore hasn't sparked interest from anyone.
For the lesser clubs that want him his wages are far too high for them and every other club knows how rubbish he is and would spend their money on someone more worthwhile.

Arsenal are set to sign Belgium goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, 24, from Sunderland for £10m as Arsene Wenger dips into his £70m transfer fund.

Arsenal set to edge out Manchester City in the signing of Kondogbia. Set to cost around £14 and will fill the gap left by Song perfectly. Kondogbia is preferred over Capoue purely because of his attitude.

I'll pay the 14. get him in.

£14 is bit of a hefty fee don't you think!

We could get `Big Vic` from Celtic for 10-12m. he is a mighty `powerhouse` no more promising players from the French ligue. this guy is the `real deal`and would fit straight in, not take a season to adjust to the physical demands of the premier.

I think this attitude bs is getting a bit out of hand. How do you know about his attitude problem, I bet you haven't even watched 3 times in your life!

This guy is far better than Wanyama and is wanted by Barcelona. He plays for Sevilla I believe but I know he 100% is in LaLiga and has so much more to offer than Wanyama. It is 14m for the player know and their value to their current club.

I think kondogbia is more viera like then the others. to me this means bring him in

He's far better than Wanyama but you're not too certain which team he plays for. I value your opinion.

Is it just me or if we have 70 / 80 mil fellaini 25 Rooney 25 begovic 15 Paul pogba 15 - 80 mil wages covered after deadwood gone surely means champions?!
Agree1
Disagree0
I went with my last memory of seeing him and yes he plays for Sevilla he is tall, powerful and a technical player very simila to Yaya Toure if you watch him play.
Agree0
Disagree0
No one is asking you to report my opinion I couldn't care less honestly Paul but have you seen Kondogbia play yourself?Watch him in La Liga especially his match against Barcelona.
I've seen him play several times and the fact he is attracting interest from teams such as Barcelona also to mention he is in a harder better league against better opposition would go about to merely suggest he is better than Wanyama without even watching him. But please do watch him first before you comment back.

Ed's is there any current interest in Reus? I know Wenger showed interest when he was at Borussia Monchangladbach and after last nights loss he may be persuaded to leave {Ed029's Note - Man City and Chelsea asked about him but he is not for sale.}
Believable8
Unbelievable37
Surely after the fact Arsenal have been tracking him since before BVB and the season he's had with BVB Wenger wouldn't drop interest after one final he is a young talent!

Hi all the Eds! Have some questions about Lewandowski. what's the reason why Lewa would not choice Arsenal? I mean if we agree with Dortmund. Salary? Or squad quality? Is the reason that we have not won any trophies the last eight years? I think he would be an amazing player for Arsenal. Thanks for making the summer worth living! {Ed029's Note - Arsenal have not shown interest in him.}

Ed what's the latest on jovetic?and if we can't sign jovetic which striker do you think arsenal will look to sign. thanx {Ed029's Note - I already explained what Ed02 said a week or so ago about a few twists. Nothing more has changed mate.}

Thats Ed029's way of saying, there will be twists and turns, but wenger doesn't need alternatives, jovetic will be at arsenal at the start of the 2013/14 season

i like both keepers but I think cesar is better though, mignolet will a great signing though but it is probably fake rumours like the ashley williams one and jovetc.

Isn't begovic better? He's a beast for stoke and is on his way out. to Liverpool but because we're nt bidding.
Agree0

In terms of age alone, Mignolet would be preferable to Cesar. It might also be more achievable as their madcap manager will need to raise funds to regenerate his squad and selling Mignolet is one of precious few options available to him.

I'm a Sunderland supporter and I really hope we keep Migs. He is a quality keeper but still young. I honestly think it would be better for him to stay where he is for the next year or two and then look to move. I think you will sign Cesar. He would be the perfect choice for you as your current keeper can learn a hell of a lot from him. He would benefit from Cesar and become a much better keeper.
We will see. Good luck for next season.

I don't think he'll leave
•Isn't looking for a move away
•Agent says he isn't leaving
•Sunderland are prepared to give him a huge pay rise which I think he'll take

Take whatever hit is necessary with Lyon or anybody else, but get him out the door on a permanent transfer. Think of the number of players we have allowed to go out on loan over the years, none of which ever led to a permanent transfer to the loan club.
