Ed, what do you know on who we bid for and who we are looking at for january, quite a vague question i know, but just an idea on names to expect in jan (:

Plus he was the captain and arguebly one of the best players in the team and ed is doumbia good why not honda. {Ed001's Note - Doumbia has had a good season, highly rated, not seen a lot of him myself though. I have no idea why not Honda.}

Hazard and goetze arent going to happen, i've already accepted that fact, but on the other hand i'm excited about doumbia, i mean the guy is a killer, he scored a hattrick this weekend against anzhi and a double in cska 3-0 victory in the champions league, and as i recall he also scored two against lille. i think he'd be a great signing.

^ I don't think we did bid for Hazard at all, I reckon it's all complete balls. I think it's just typically convenient that there were the usual excuses. I know people have come out and said it is official but that means nothing at all!

rumours in italy and portugal saying we're going after the combative brazilian midfielder Fernando of Porto for 25million ... have to say didn't know much about him but he is a beast in the tackle and has good vision for a pass after looking at some footage, new viera maybe... check him what do you reckon?

It's not easy to get into the brazil squad, not a big deal if he's a non international

Hulk doesnt get into the Brazil squad, yet hes one of the best wingers atm and is definitely around 30-40m

I'm Not Questioning His Ability But His Price And Hulk Is In The Squad But He Doesn't Play At An Amazing Team (Porto are good but there not exactly Munich or Madrid)

Would be a great signing, as next season we are likely to have let go/sold Benayoun & Rosicky. Will there be work premit problems as he hasnt played the required international games for Brazil or is he a Portuguese citizen? £25m seems excessive.
