Malaga need to sell caorla so, apparently wenger has bidded 16 mill he might have to accept that in so many days to get the money they need, because they are skint. we will sign cazorla hopefully

Arsene Wenger has distanced himself from signing Nuri Sahin on loan, saying Arsenal aren't close to signing anyone at the moment. Signing to be unveiled tomorrow then...

Believable8 Unbelievable13

If anything it'll be Monday when the squad return from Asia.

Also this will mean that Yann M'Vila will NOT be joining Arsenal as Sahin is a CDM so the talk about Yann M'Vila can stop.

I think he'll be joined by at least another 2 or 3 signings & RvP will have to make a choice whether to leave in Jan or sign a new deal or wait til Bosman comes into affect as Wenger won't sell to another EPL team.

Agree0 Disagree0

He also said whos knows what will happen in the future implying its still a strong possibility. It is the cheapest option and is therefore very likely to happen.

Arsenal looking at a possible loan move for Nuri Sahin. The player was left out of Madrid's tour and is in London discussing terms though Arsenal face competition from Spurs who are also trying to get him on loan.

Santi Carzola will definitely leave Malaga this summer as Pellegrini stated that Malaga are waiting for a 'serious' offer.

Juventus have cooled their interest in RVP leaving Man Utd and MCFC to battle over him.

you know where you heard it first.

Believable25 Unbelievable15

Yeah i heard it about 100 posts ago by someone else!

Rob

Agree2 Disagree0

Well said Rob. Another person who repeats Sky Sports, Teamtalk etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard all of that other places first...

Agree0 Disagree0

While I sense Sahin is probably going to spurs - if we do sign him on loan (ideally with option to buy) - this would be an excellent signing.

Well before the gotze-hype the single most important and exciting player at BVB was sahin. He has been a "wunderkid" for years.

Long term - a midfield trio of wilshire/sahin/song is very very exciting.

It's not Santi, but I was never convinced that was happening.

The risk here is that he will end up sitting next to: Rosicky, Diaby, Wilshire on the injury table.

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah not from you!

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard it at skysports.com first!

I checked and I swear to god I put together, to near perfection, our current squad on football manager back in 2008. One of the pieces missing is Sahin so I believe this rumour on this basis alone. By this logic, by the way, in 2016 we will have Messi and Bendtner up front with Vela and Bojan on the bench.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this deal not done? I am sure it has been completed.

Agree0 Disagree0

This deals all over turkish tv like a done deal

Agree0 Disagree1

In FM2008 i had RVP transfer to roma and podolski come in.

Alongside Valeri Bojinov - was magical.

Billybob

Agree1 Disagree0

Rumour denied by Wenger. Then again that's what he always does.

Agree0 Disagree0

What turkish channels? Im in turkey circling digiturks channels yet nothing?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not stupid for writing that...I posted this a loooong time ago been waiting for it to be posted! Ed can confirm that! ♚♚

Marca Reported Sahin will sign a season long loan with Arsenal. Real want to sell him plus cash to Spurs for Modric but Sahin does not want to play for Spurs. Real may now accept loan deal with Arsenal to at least lose his wages off their books

Marca then changed the article to read Sahin will probably play in the EPL this season.

Believable16 Unbelievable15

You have to just love this post, if only for the reason that it says that Sahin doesn't want to play for Spurs, you can't blame him can you?

Agree1 Disagree0

I really hope there is a buy-out-clause in the deal. he is a very exciting player and if he does well on loan, we could buy him.

According to Sky Sports News, a number of premier league teams, including Arsenal, have been linked with Bordeaux winger Yoan Gouffran, after the club confirmed they will listen to offers for the Frenchman. Arsene Wenger has previously tried to sign him after he was a part of Caen's promotion to Ligue 1 in the 2007/2008 season. The winger, who scored 14 goals last season, is in the last year of his current contract and has yet to sign a new deal, so he might be a cheaper alternative to Santi Cazorla.

Tom the Gunner

Believable12 Unbelievable13

A poorer version of cazorla the cheaper less effective buy not good

Agree0 Disagree0

I would prefer sahin to gourcuff.

Although reuniting the happy couple "chamakh/gourcuff" seems to bring out the best in both.

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Billybob, its Gouffran not Gourcuff, they're two different players

Tom the Gunner

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh - Yoan Gouffran!!

Weren't we interested in him years ago when he was at Caen?

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we were, but he is in the last year of his contract and Bordeaux are ready to sell rather than let him go for free.

Tom the Gunner

Agree0 Disagree0

Billybob, do you actually read the posts that you respond to? Yes AW was interested in signing him, as the original poster quite clearly stated.
Chriss

Agree1 Disagree0

Dude, first gourcuff is at lyon, he was sold to lyon 2years ago for 20 mil Euro!are u serious??!where did u get this source, lolllllllllllllllllll! 0 credibility

Agree0 Disagree0

As I explained to Billybob earlier, the player is GOUFFRAN NOT GOURCUFF! Also the source was sky sports news.

Agree0 Disagree0

^^^^Mate you have 0 credibility- Tom the Gunner is referring to Yoan Gouffran NOT Yoan Gourcuff- they are two different players. Good slate ya bell e*d!

Arsene Wenger is very keen to get Nuri Sahin fromReal Madrid in a loan deal

Believable17 Unbelievable13

He is going to Spurs, I'd bet my house on it. Makes much more sense as part of the Modric deal

CT

Agree0 Disagree0

Deal has been agreed but we don't what club yet but i have a feeling it may be something to do with Modric and Tottenham as part of the deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

You have just lost your house mate...... awkward :/

It looks like the cazorla transfer is hotting up now. According to sky sports they have received an offer of 16m but it does not meet their asking price. But pellegrinis view has changed because a few days ago they would not sell him and now they will not see for that price.

only a matter of time...

Believable25 Unbelievable5

Here we go again, mata mk II, dithering wenger strikes again, the fact that malaga have made a statement leads me to beleive this deal will not happen!!

Agree2 Disagree1

Id rather we get Gaitan. we cud offer them Denilson as part of the deal im sure he wud be good in that league

Agree1 Disagree1

The longer this goes on thd less likely......another mata....

Agree1 Disagree0

Absolutely, hopefully he is on his way.

Agree0 Disagree1

Not sure how this one will play out - my instincts tell me it won't go through. I would be very amazed if Wenger spent GBP 20mln on a single player.

That said, the teams around us are definitely stronger (including tottenham without modric). Wenger is building a pretty strong starting XI with squad depth through young emerging talents and experienced heads:

Let's look at the mix in our bench:
Fabianski, Merteseker, Santos, Coquelin, Diaby, Ox, Giroud

Ramsey, Wilshire, Rosicky also in the Mix! Things are looking good (I hope I am wrong at Cazorla).

Billybob

Agree1 Disagree0

Not gonna happen! I truly believe that Cazorla is available but like so many times before, we are not willing to pay what's necessary to land players of this caliber.

Well, at least we're in for players but expect some cheap alternative to be signed...

Agree1 Disagree0

^^
Expect Giroud and Ox to start with Gervinho on the bench and RVP at some other team

Agree1 Disagree0

Its on his wiki page that his club is arsenal
