Ed, is there still a possibility of us going for Ozil? More importantly, do you think/know if he'd be interested in joining Arsenal? {Ed002's Note - I would doubt that he will end up at Arsenal this summer.}

You told us we should hold our breath about Ozil! Not this summer? So maybe next? ;-)

Tell me mad , but i don't think ozil suits arsenal way of playing.... He just doesn't fit...

First choice at Real Madrid why would he move to Arsenal?

Some people have such arsenal tinted glasses on. Why would he join us when he is 1st choice at REAL MADRID. He would also take a pay cut.

Yer he is the main playmaker at real? Why would he move from the biggest team(arguably) in the world. He just won the la liga there and got the most assists in the liga last season with 17

Ozil would suit Arsenal Perfect!!

His pace, drive and technique just like arsenals.. I wanted him to come badly before he went to madrid - and he is doing fine work in madrid..

I think when Ed typed that statement it was a typo and should have read "dont hold your breath". Ozil is not coming {Ed002's Note - Oezil will not be moving to Arsenal this summer.}

Ed , any chance of Arsenal looking at Mcgregor from Rangers ? Available on a free and a cracking keeper {Ed002's Note - I really don't know. Sorry.}

Rangers fan here...big legal wrangle with all our players think it will be a while before they come or go, use would be getting a great keeper though! i support arsenal aswell and would welcome him going to use, better than szenzsy anyway!

Wenger will not act as he is not too bright in the goalkeeper front. He let many a gems slip away (Cech, VanDer, Given)

I'm baffled as to why we are continually linked with this player. As one of the posters above has pointed out, being well thought of as keeper in the SPL is hardly a ringing edorsement, especially as the Scottish media have always sucked up to Rangers. Also I doubt that Wenger, with his emphasis on good diet and nutrition, is going to want a player from a club where the players live on lager and Monster Munch. As Churchill once said, "a lie can be half way round the world before the truth has got its boots on".

I understand that M'Vila is on his way. Contract talks are to resume with RVP on his arrival back from a well earned holiday. RVP will be offered an increase to a 4 year deal.

How do you understand ?

Come on be serious, I cant devulge that, lets just say it was from a source that told me Sol Campbell was joining before anyone knew.

I also knew that Sol was joining us 3 months before he did......didn't believe the guy until it happened.....sometime,but very rarely does the leak come from arsenal....mostly from the other club or thd players representives.....a good friend of mi e us mates with Neil Banfield who,like Bould,will work with the first team.He doesn't know a thing about signi v players!

paul {Ed002's Note - Dzagoev has interested Chelsea in the past but Arsenal have shown a lot of interest this past year including sending a contingent to watch him play in Moscow back last summer. He will be available on a free transfer at the end of the year, not in the summer, if CSKA cannot strike a new deal.}

The same old problem....someone does well in a tournament and everyone what's us to sign him....think Arsene has brought in to international forwards,and like Rvp they are all left footed....most of the service they receive will come from the right....this for me us the weakness,Theo Walcott .....hast got a football brain,doesn't use his pace to full affect and when he has time on the ball he's left wanting.....would like to see the ox given 10-15 games out there.

The way that Arsene has talked up the signing of Giroud and the way the bookies have now changed there odds on RVP to City to odds on, it does look now as though Robin is on his way. If so i will be very dissapointed in him.

It will take a massive falling out with the Arsenal for RVP to go to another Prem Club.
he will stay or go abroad....believe depending on the money AFC offer .... he wants to stay, but also wants what he believes RVP is worth......

I think Rvp wants to see if Wenger will strengthen the team/squad before he signs a new contract.He brought a house in hampstead less that 10 months ago.If Arsenal decided to allow him to run he's contract down and he got a career ending injury in that time it would cost he more than 25million....and with his injury record I wouldn't want to take that chance.

Bookies mainly adjust their odds according to money wagered rather than access to any "inside information". Shortening of odds is likely a reaction to people staking on VP to City as they (punters) believe it more likely following Giroud's signing. Bookies know no more than the rest of us about what will happen.

Since the season ended there are bricks everywhere who are convinced that rvp will leave. They have absutely no idea what's going on behind closed doors but still they are convinced. I will laugh at every single one of these pessimists, becuase i am confident that rvp will stay. End of the story!

Don't understand why we don't just give him the wage demands and make him sign something to say he will not disclose his wage to people. Lets be fair we have the money to have players on 200k a week but we stand by our principles which hasn't worked so far so let's just start competing with the big spenders out there. Money has bought man utd city and Chelsea success so let's finally get amongst it

Arsenal have cooled there interest in yann m'villa after he had a bust up with Laurent blanc. There prime target is now javi Martinez of Bilbao. Van Persie is set to be sold after the summer arrivals, with man city and juventus leading the way

Perhaps if you read about why the bust up occured, you may find that M'Vila's stance would actually endear him to Arsene. Something to do with Jean-Pierre Bernes' influence on the French squad. He and AW have history stretching back to the Marseille scandal, and he now represents Nasri. I still feel M'Vila will be an Arsenal player soon.

ed will wilshere be fit to start the season? and will walcott sign a new deal or leave?


KAY9 {Ed002's Note - Wilshere will be subject to continued assessment with no return date at this time. I have no idea what Walcott will do right now.}

It's worth noting that Wilshere has started his pre-season training already, as have Afobe and Jenkinson.
