I have this on good authority. podolski, suarez,m'vila, sessegnon these will be our four summer signings and there will be at least 8 players leaving. Arshavin, Chamkh, Vela, Bendtner, Young, Diaby Denilson, Squillaci.

Sneijder wants out, targeting such a player is just the right sort of ambition Van persie would like to see.

I am aware the two dont really go eye to eye, but when winning is the culture we need to integrate such players.

Sneijder would be available for even under 30 mill the way his season has gone. Im not sure how much more of an impact to cesc he will make, i never thought a one year sneijder was ever as good as cesc fabregas in terms of consistency and efficiency...and it shows when cesc is still top 5 in the world in his position and sneijder no longer is...

but we dont have cesc and a sneijder wud do...only hope he lowers his wages, or he can go to Anzhi and play with eto i guess.

Sneijder is not worth more than 20m end of story, he's been rubbish for a while now.

Agree0 Disagree0

You should check out a video of Sneijder and Van Persie vs San Marino on Youtube. I know its only San Marino but seriously their link up play was scary. I think they both have grown up and got over their spat. However I do still think that it is extremely unlikely that Sneijder would come to Arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

He wouldnt lower his wages for Utd, why would he do for us. Plus 30 mill is too much for him.

Ed any truth to the bild rumours that arsenal have signed podalski {Ed013's Note - I have heard that the player has agreed personnel terms but the clubs are yet to finalise an agreement}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sneijder is overrated and overpriced. Would be a flop, no thanks.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think that Wenger would sign a massive ego player like Sneijder,more likely to be Mvila or Hazard or even Podolski.
Braintreegooner {Ed001's Note - Hazard has a similar ego.....}

Hey eds/posters, not usually one to ask questions, but is it fully confirmed that Arsenal have signed Holtby and Suarez for the summer?
If thats true i would be one happy gunner, but also kind of makes sense since denilson and bendtner are leaving. I would prefer Holtby and Suarez than Bendtner and Denilson. A step in the right direction, but we need to start taking bigger steps, because the manchester clubs are waling on stilts compared to us (like the metaphor?)
Nick. {Ed001's Note - not confirmed no, not by a long shot, it is merely a rumour.}

edd is this javier perez reliable? has he said something before that has turned out to be true. apparently hes well respected and it would seem odd if started making storys up {Ed001's Note - nobody is 100% right, it doesn't matter who you know or how you get your info, it is never perfect. I can remember when Arsenal had a deal agreed to sign Joseph Yobo, he had joined Everton on a one year deal with a 'gentleman's agreement' to sign for longer if it worked out. Yobo was having a great season and Wenger stepped in and agreed a deal for him to join Arsenal at the end of the season on a free. Moyes found out, they had a huge bust up in training and he dropped him because he was all set to join Arsenal, claiming he didn't know what a gentleman's agreement was! That is all definite, if Perez had been around then (and Twitter), I am quite sure he would have posted up saying the lad was going to join Arsenal. But at the end of the day, Everton managed to convince him to stay and Perez would have looked like he had it wrong. Would that make him reliable or not? Sorry, this is a long winded way of saying it is impossible to say for sure, unless you have access to his source or know what his source is, all you can do is monitor his posts and see how often he gets it right. I don't really use Twitter much, so I haven't taken enough notice to know how reliable he actually is sorry.}

Thanks edd well hope he's right cause Suarez is quality {Ed001's Note - have you seen a lot of him play then? I haven't seen him yet.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha. If you haven't seen him, how can you say he is 'quality' ? {Ed001's Note - he hasn't said he hasn't seen him play.}

Agree0 Disagree0
