Arsenal fans seem disappointed that Falcao isn't coming at all. don't be upset, guys. You only spend what u have. Clever financial management

Mr Balague also posted the below on 21/08/2014 regarding Xabi Alonso and now where has he gone again?

Guillem Balague: Not sure who is coming with the idea but there is no way at all that Xabi Alonso is leaving Real Madrid

Balague is a fraud. Why would a Barca mouthpiece know about a Colombian player moving from France to England? He's second guessing, like every other 'ITK' in the transfer window.

Tomorrow never comes

Hi Eds,
I know you've answered a lot of questions about the same players and I apologise for doing the same here. Mine is slightly different though, at least. Have Arsenal actually shown real interest in Carvalho, holding discussions with Sporting etc etc? Or, is this just Portuguese papers filling pages with English papers following suit?

{Ed002's Note - Yes. This is really tedious for me.}

Ed actually answered that question literally three posts before yours. Now that deserves a bit of a Frosty reception.

Why the attitude lol chill out ed it's only a valid question .

Thanks ed. No more I promise!

Lots of Journos "Reporting" Rabiot to Roma

Not again. haha!

Believable18 Unbelievable5

{Ed002's Note - Roma are one of the clubs interested in Rabiot - as are Arsenal.}

With AW reluctance to buy a striker do the Eds feel this could be a big mistake to buy a replacement for Giroud?

Believable3 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - I have explained already what I see the options as being.}

The amount of chances we create even with Giroud playing proves we need another striker, only one who can't see this seems to be AW

Ed's any update on Carvalho? Are Arsenal still in the hunt for him? If so are Arsenal a likely destination for him. Thanx

Believable3 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal are one of the interested clubs.}

Hi Ed's, lots of newspapers reporting on arsenal interest in Falcao, firstly why are Monaco letting him leave on loan? How much would he cost to buy outright? And is it likely that he will be wearing an arsenal shirt in the coming days? Thanks

Believable4 Unbelievable6

{Ed002's Note - Monaco are looking to sell Falcao, Real Madrid are looking to buy Falcao, and Falcao want to move to Real Madrid. Meetings were held on Wednesday between Monaco, Real Madrid and the players representatives. Monaco set a price. Nothing has changed as far as I know since then.}

There has been a lot of media talk about Carvalho and he would seem to be the right man to fill the CDM role. Do you think Wenger has been put off - if reports are true - that one of the conditions is he is loaned back until Sporting find a replacement. That could mean waiting for a while if Sporting drag their feet?

Believable1 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - I know nothing of these reports - Arsenal are interested in him.}
