Has anything changed regarding Matviyenko? Reports are now claiming that a loan deal has been agreed? I imagine this has only come about due to breakdown in the Mari transfer.

{Ed002's Note - It will be one or the other but Flamenco are miffed with Arsenal. Matviyenko is available and his agent has been pushing for a move. He has had half a good season else he has been a frinbge player.}

Cheers Ed. Seems like we have agreed a deal with Flamengo now anyway so I guess any interest in Matviyenko will be dropped for now. It's frustrating that we keep angering other clubs though. Not good at all for the clubs reputation which is slowly being tarnished in the transfer market.

Sounds like an intelligent signing. Arteta knows the player from his City days. He is tall, left sided and was with City in England. A great deal at a sensible price. Hope we now get Cedric Soares.

It sure does Robbie mate. Although Mari did state that he never met Guardiola or any of the first team in the 3 years that he was technically a City player. Not keen on Soares myself. We are ok at RB for the remainder of the season with Bellerin and MN as cover. Defensively we haven't actually been to bad under Arteta it's going forward at the mo which is the problem! We can't create and when we do, we tend to make the wrong decision and ruin the chance!
