Hopefully some good news leading into Christmas for EPL fans.

Hopefully the pay per view boycott raised the alarm along with the Supporters Trust talking to the club.

"We recognise the concerns of Arsenal and other supporters regarding the pricing of pay-per-view matches.

"We are working actively alongside clubs and with the Premier League, and in turn our broadcast partners, to find a solution for the matches after the November international break. "

Fingers crossed - would be nice to see games at around the £5 / game. Think more fans would pay £5 and generate more money especially in these hard times.

I could fully understand the ppv pricing if it was done via the clubs and each team streamed there games. However knowing how expensive it is for sky and bt for them to further charge, and to charge what they were charging was ridiculous! I know there is a cost to streaming these games, and they can not be currently making a profit off of it.

£5 SY?
Spare a thought for the poor old clubs who were reduced to paying under £100 million for players this summer, not to mention poor old billionaire owners of BT Sky and Virgin.
