Suarez left out of 2013/2014 squad photo's for Liverpool FC. Search Getty Images if you don't believe me. Obviously i'm not saying he's coming to Arsenal because of this but it looks as if he certainly isn't staying in merseyside.

Getty are just a photo library/ agency who sell images they are not connected to LFC and may not have the rights to Suarez's image. Many South American players try to retain ownership of their image. These are not the images used on the LFC website for all their players. There are 25 in Liverpool squad and only 22 images are they selling 3 players? Another case of 2 + 2 = 5 again I'm afraid. Not to say he won't be sold but I do not think this can be taken as conclusive proof.

see people, don't call me out on rubbish because I don't come on here and spread it like 99% of others. it's in the individual photos that he's not there and for those saying he's in the front row you're looking at last seasons squad photo not the individual ones. I hate people lying as much as you lot so I make sure I have proof before I bother writing something on here, otherwise you just get a torrent of abuse just like Ed02 has received and now has left us in the dry with his obvious connections to the club. don't mock the people who obviously have something to bring to the table regarding rumours on this site. if you wanna sit there and listen to malaga all day be my guest I was only trying to lift everyone's spirits a bit

Cheers Ed,
I think it's a case of looking for something whee there is nothing myself.
Just wanted to post the link so people can stop arguing whether he is or isn't.
As Cork City Gooner said, it's likely just his image rights though we'd like to believe otherwise.

If wenger was that desperate to sign him he would of offered the £55 million plus by now! Obv not serious enough, lfc aren't stupid. The only bluff arsenal are playing is on themselves. It's quite insulting to think you can get him for £40 million, lfc won't stand for that and will play hard ball as a result. Concentrate on another player would be better for afc at the moment because £40 is way short

quick update for you all
1)gervinho is having his medical at roma tonight. to a view of a 8 million move

Mulling* over a move to Malaga.
Agree0

The first two go with my full blessing and best wishes.
They came, they tried, they carried themselves in the way you want to see an Arsenal player behave but, sadly, didn't quite cut it.
For the last one, I have nothing good to say so nothing will I say!
Agree1
Disagree0
They never play anyway so why would they start now, best wishes to gervinho and chamack, Nicklas bendtner the self proclaimed best striker in the world you will not be missed
Agree1
Disagree0
Far from 'mulling over' any potential offers, Bendtner should jump at the chance of anyone being foolish enough to offer him employment as a footballer. He should thank his lucky stars that he was ever given the opportunity to play professional football and that the modern AFC is so content to reward mediocrity, complacency and laziness that we had him on the wage bill for so long. He's an arrogant, graceless, lumbering balloon who's just not very good at football (and we've had more than our fair share of those in recent years).

Agree1

Gervinho would not be leaving unless someone is coming in, he would be the first of the summers departures who made a significant amount of appearances last season
{Ed022's Note - I wonder who we'l sign to replace his five goals and three assists...}

£40m plus money from gervinho sale= suarez. simple.

2 goals and 2 assists in the champions league too. He did score some very good and important goals just not enough.
{Ed022's Note - This is true. He scored the 2nd goal in the last minute or so in a 2-0 win over Swansea near the end of the season...}
Agree1

We simply have to buy, because we have hardly anybody left.

He was our 5th top scorer
HarryP

RE posts above.
Agreed that we have to buy new players, but not as a result of Gervinho's move. He never brought anything to the party and regularly did more harm than good. As an impact sub, he had everything but impact.
Agree0
Disagree0
He may have been our 5th top scorer but at least he had a pair of boots and was fit enough to wear them - at this rate we will not need to travel by coach but by mini-bus (cheaper though, so more money in the pocket of the greedy board).
Agree0
Disagree0
Just read an article in which Wenger states that there is still a month to go in the transfer window - this may be so but the season starts in 2 weeks and surely you would want players in at the start of the season - the sooner that this clown leaves, the better!
Agree0
Disagree1
Any eds know if this is true? Make my day please lol {Ed027's Note - gervinho and chamakh are off, I am told
Agree1
Disagree0
His most important moment was probably setting up van Persie in the champions league qualifiers - that's all can remember Gervinho ever doing.
Agree1
Disagree0
I will hold my hands up and admit I really liked Gervinho - On his day he could turn defenders inside out. Unfortunately, this day was a rare occurance.
ACON seemed to crush his confidence and he never really recovered.
I hope he finds form again in the Serie A, and forms a partnership to be feared with Totti! Haha
Haggis Gooner
Agree2
Disagree0
I don't rate gervinho but without the 5 goals and 3 assists ed, we wouldn't have made 4th place, I don't understand how Wenger can feel the same squad that struggled for 4th can challenge for 1st!
SEGooner {Ed001's Note - but a better player in his place would have been likely to provide more than 5 goals and 3 assists.}
Agree0
Disagree0
To respond to the original post, Gervinho's departure wouldn't make any difference whatsoever to our need to buy players. He was dead wood anyway (like many of the other departing players), so we needed to bring in quality before and we still do, whether he goes or stays. Like so many of the rest of the squad, he ain't good enough.

Rumour is we are going after Christian Eriksen to fill in for Diaby, skillfull player and would be a nice pickup if true
Believable23
Unbelievable92
That would be awesome. Great talent
Agree2

If so it probably means he isn't too keen on Dortmund or Liverpool, who were previously after him. I think his personal preference is Spain however.
Agree3

We need goal scorers not more midfielder's.
Agree2

We have goal scorers. Besides Wilshere an Ramsey, everyone can put it in the net.
Agree3
Disagree1
Occasionally. Yes. Players put it in the net. 30 times a season? No.
Agree1
Disagree0
We need a "real" CDM (made of steel and wire, AND can pass the ball forward) so we can put Arteta under a blanket. So it is.
Agree1
Disagree0
They're totally different types of players. Diaby is defensive whereas Eriksin is very attacking. He's not what we need.
NE Gooner
Agree1

Would be a pointless purchase. I think the fans no what Arsenal need better than AW does. Look at the team Swansea a putting together. AW has lost the plot
Agree0
Disagree1
Would be excellent, he could play attacking mid allowing cazorla to play out left
Agree0
Disagree1
If Liverpool were after him surely they would have put in a bid for him.
Agree0
Disagree0
He's a cam. Why for diaby? Completely different types of player
Sw18
Agree0
Disagree0
If we're looking for someone to 'fill in for Diaby', we don't need to spend money on a player. A concrete post would be a suitable replacement. About the same range of passing and probably more robust in the tackle.

Could the eds confirm but I heard that we have first refusal of fabregas at 25m. I think we're holding out on suarez because if we were to put in a big offer for someone and then man united put in an offer for fabregas. we wouldn't have the finances to take on say fellaini, suarez AND fabregas. imagine a situation where we get fellaini and suarez but don't have the funds for fab. what would anger fans more. losing fab and getting those two or getting fab and not getting them? Sorry if I didn't phrase this right. {Ed029's Note - No mate it is not like that. Ed02 explained this on one of the other pages.}
Believable2

to re-sign cesc would we not have to just pay them what they already have so far?
I have read that Barca paid Cesc's transfer in two payments (which means we have all the expected monies fromthat deal) or is it a payment schedule over the duration of the contract? wasn't there also a 10m performance related bonus if they were to win la liga etc?
Agree0

Dream on lads if yez get 1 player ul b doing well the bid on Suarez and Rooney was done to keep the fans happy. Liverpool would b mad to sell him to another English club. I can't see fabragas going back cause he wants to win things and it won't happen at arsenal. Fellaini is an option and hez the kind of player arsenal need. I'd b more concerned about your defence and goalkeeper rather then strikers and midfielders mertamucker is schizer I don't understand why he's played cause u have to play deep too often and gets caught out and makes silly mistakes. Anyways b realistic even Ian wright told Suarez not to go to arsenal. !

Believable11
Unbelievable22
Hi there 0029, of course we are concerning ourselves with it.
This is an Arsenal Rumours site and Suarez is the biggest rumour out there in our world at the moment.
If you could please illuminate us, even if it is bad news (or good for LFC) that would be great.
I do know that Suarez's agents are hawking him out to everyone at the moment. {Ed029's Note - Ed02 has suggested that Suarez's representatives are continuing to look for other clubs and has spoken in the past week with at least one other English club amongst other. He has said today that Suarez would be open to a move to Arsenal but he does not think Arsenal would be his preferred choice. So Costa is nothing to do with Suarez.}

Ed do you know if there is any truth in the rumours Liverpool have had a bid accepted for Diego Costa from Athltico Madrid? And if true do you think this is to replace Suarez or in addition to him? If the second that would be impressive. I've been very critical of Liverpool recently and while I still think they aren't at the same level as us, currently they are putting us to shame with transfer dealings this summer, looking a team with intent to improve on last year. {Ed029's Note - You need to look on the LFC page.}
Believable11
Unbelievable8
A summary to what's on the Liverpool pages - Costa is planned to be in addition to Suarez. Suarez accepts he's staying at Liverpool unless Madrid, his preferred destination, or a similar sized (read into that what you will) club meet Liverpools fee. His agent has just approached PSG and Bayern to try and determine whether they'd pay upwards of £50M for his client.

Liverpool are at a far better level, when was the last time you won a trophy? Not so much in the league the last 2 seasons. In every other aspect a different level

eds what is the situation with lewandowski. has he actually signed a pre contract and definitely going to bayern on a free next season. is there a possibility that if we were to make bd a decent offer for him we could get him. would be better for them rather than him walking away for free. I think he would be a great signing for us. malaga gooner mentioned that we were in for him a while ago and I read a post from that other reliable source (sarcasm) twitter we were going to look at him. great job on the site. {Ed020's Note - No mate he cannot sign a pre-contract agreement. He won't be moving to Arsenal.}

I think his a free agent next season ain't he ed
{Ed022's Note - Lewandowski's contract expires on 30th June 2014. Therefore he can sign pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of Germany if he wished. This can only be done in JANUARY 2014. However, that being said, I think everyone in football is aware he wants to sign for Bayern Munich on a free...}
