My sources claim arsenal have agreed personal terms with Sanchez but now they need to match Liverpool offer to Barcelona, Barcelona hoping to get 30million and arsene will match it, remember guys you heard it from the viper!

{Ed025's Note - sounds good mate...i just hope your not a snake in the grass.. :)

This is tenuous I know, but according to a Frenchman married to a Chilean, living in Ipswich- Radio Cooperativa in Chile has today broadcast that Alexis Sanchez is moving to England - hopefully it's us not the scousers. I am assured they don't make stuff up but having never heard of them prior to this evening who knows - it could be the European press Liverpool Suarez swap mullarkey that's behind it.

Is there any way Wenger has leverage from the Cesc deal, to use to buy Sanchez?
If any Eds have an inkling if something like that could be the case

Believable3 Unbelievable5

{Ed025's Note - they still owe some money from the cesc deal apparently pdoty..

Hi new poster massive reader great site
Gresham hunter on irish radio tonight says straight shoot out for Sanchez between arsenal and Liverpool but he prefers arsenal. Problems are Liverpool really want him as pRt of the deal non negotiable and other problem is negredo wants to leave city to replace Diego Costa if that happens city might enter the race if that happens they will just outbid everyone and get him
Cheers

Believable10 Unbelievable4

In that case we shall see if he is motivated by money!

4fs Suarez to barca and Sanchez to liverpool I'm gutted if we was not so tight we could have both of them now are rivals are stronger. Possed right off that's it I'm going the pub

Believable6 Unbelievable19

I can't see how Liverpool can be stronger without Suarez who ever they sign plus Sanchez has far from agreed to go there.
Let's wait for disarster to actually appear before we all decent to the pub in disillusionment, .

Agree0 Disagree0

Except there's NOTHING concrete about a transfer and from the rumours we are ahead of LFC PLUS Sanchez prefers arsenal to them.

Agree0 Disagree0

How does Liverpool losing Suarez, the best player in the lague last year, and getting Sanchez make them stronger?
Getting AS and keeping LS, then yes. But not from a swap deal!

It's pretty obvious that we won't sign anyone, or at least announce any signings until the new kits are launched. Puma won't want to see a new signing for next season in one of their main market rival's kits, the image of a player signing, especially a big one is a lasting image and Puma will want to be a part of that.

Ed's any idea when the release is?

Believable13 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - 12th of july CIG..

02 Jul 2014 17:37:15
Agree,

But at the same time if we announce our new signing's whilst wearing the new Puma kit, they will overshadow the new kit and not too sure if Puma would want that.

bit of a conundrum.
Shall we ask Miss Vorderman for her opinion?

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank you for the common sense post.

Its a FACT that IF we have signed anyone, it will NOT be revealed until after 8th July, the launch of the new Puma kit

I know this is a rumour page, but come on now fellas.

Sammy Nelson, the greatest left back

Eds every player has a price right.
So how much do you think it would cost to get Vidal, remy, Sanchez, debuchy, ivanovich

Believable1 Unbelievable10

{Ed025's Note - too much mate..

02 Jul 2014 17:38:47
More than what Wenger will be willing to spend.

So, seen as I'm such a negative nancy about our transfer dealings lately, I reckon it's about time I'm more positive!
And I have a bit of 'news' that allows me to do just that.

A: Debuchy is our incoming right back.
Aurier was the primary target for a long time,
But after consideration, the boss has decided we have the long term solution in our ranks already.

Hector Bellerin.
Apparently, Arsene thinks that in a couple of seasons,
Bellerin will be a top class player.
And that Jenko will be an able back up.

Expect Bellerin to be loaned out this season to a mid table club abroad with Debuchy and Jenko staying.

B: As far as I can gather, (I'm not claiming to be ITK, or close to the club internally, or anything, I'm just friends with a couple of people! I can only hope to one day be hooked up like Malaga!) Sanchez is ours.

He's told barca that he wants to stay,
But if he does have to go, then he wants to come to the EPL and he wants to come to us.
We've already had a 'recon' bid rejected, and barca have named their price, £30m (well, the equivalent in € ) and we'll pay that.
Expect us to launch a bid of that amount in the near future.
Wenger loves Sanchez as a player and is determined there won't be another Higuain fiasco this summer.

The only things that would stop us getting our man are;

1: Barca deciding to keep the player.

2: someone like man city blowing our bid/contract out the water.

Whislt Sanchez would prefer to come to us and we're willing to offer him parity with Özil, we would look to pay part of the fee now and part over time.

City could offer them more of the deal up top.

Make of my ramblings what you will!

Believable24 Unbelievable10

Perhaps if they knock off what they undoubtedly owe for Cesc, Song and others it will reduce what we need to pay them. Do the eds know how much could be outstanding?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - no mate sorry..

All good d but I believe barca still owe us money I may b wrong though am I eds

{Ed025's Note - apparently they do MG..

Believable6 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United, Juventus and Arsenal. None are acceptable.}

02 Jul 2014 14:00:14
there's a surprise arsenal making an unacceptable offer who'd of ever thunk it!

Ed002 I have been hearing a few rumblings that Wenger is keeping an eye on Swiss internationalist and Bayern squad player Shaqiri. He looks a quality player and having rarely featured at Bayern it may be an option. This on your radar at all?

Believable0 Unbelievable11

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of interest from Arsenal at this time.}

02 Jul 2014 08:53:22
Hi ed. Is Arsenal interested in max gonalons? He was linked to us last window. Cheaper n younger than khedira. Would be a decent player for us.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

{Ed001's Note - they have maintained tabs on him, but no offer as things stand.}

Jackson says he's a childhood fan and he would move to arsenal. With talks ongoing

Believable6 Unbelievable9

"My agent is taking care of my future, right now I'm at the World Cup and only after the World Cup I'll evaluate proposals."As a child I cheered for Arsenal, they play a game that suits me. If I had the occasion to play there, I would say yes.
"" I know that there have been discussions, but still no agreements, " said Martinez to the Daily Express."

Hi Ed(s), was hoping you could answer a few questions;
1) reports are saying offers have been made for alexis sanchez, is that true? and are arsenal one of the clubs to make an offer?
2) are real Madrid looking at signing falcoa and james rodriguez? if so will that make di maria and/or benzema available?
3) has a deal been agreed between manu and arsenal for vermaelen? or have any enquiries/talks taken place for him?
4) where does arsenal's interest lie regarding the positions gk, cb, rb, cm/cdm. i.e.; are there any players of immediate interest or enquired about?
any answers would be greatly appreciated, hope i'm not asking too much. Thanks in advance.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

{Ed001's Note - 1) Juve have made an offer. Barca have offered him to a couple of clubs in part ex. As far as I am aware there have been no offers for England yet.
2) Di Maria has been available for years, hence his comments regarding his disappointment at finding out he had been offered to Spurs. He was referring to the Bale deal, they had offered Di Maria in part ex. Benzema would be available if Falcao arrives, though he is unlikely to want to leave, so I don't see it happening this summer. Sorry, nearly forgot, they are interested in both, yes.
3) no deal agreed, but van Gaal would like to add him to the squad. I would expect movement on this once Belgium are out. Though Arsenal's lack of defensive cover might stop any deal happening as things stand.
4) Arsenal are still interested in Marshall, but have started exploring other options, there was a loan offer for Pepe Reina, but very much made off hand, so it might have even been just a friendly joke. Hard to tell with these things. There has also been interest in taking one of Stoke's two main keepers, but the asking price has killed that for now. Krul is one that is also of interest, but I am told nothing will happen there until the Dutch go out, and Newcastle have a few interested clubs to discuss him with. Off the top of my head, I don't have anything on the rest right now sorry.}

Cheers Ed, hope everything pans out well for us(arsenal)
