Morning eds. Any of you have any information on Carlos vela rejoining? Keep seeing that rumour floating about. Also do we really have a buy back clause for him or is that just paper talk. Thank you {Ed001's Note - there is a buy back clause and it is floating about because the lad confirmed it existed. He also said he would prefer to stay where he is, but understand his club might not have a choice but to sell him. That is all the info there is, nothing has actually happened regarding it so far, but his club will need to sell players in the summer.}

Would love him back at the club, he's a very good player and in my eyes was underated and a great finisher he reminded me a lot like Eduardo and would rather him up fron instead of cham or nicky or park

The wages released by getting rid of Chamakh, Bendtner and Park would be sufficient to allow us to pay for a top-notch striker which Vela proved he wasn't. Fragile, flimsy and not up to the requirements of the EPL.

I wouldn't say he was "fragile", I'd say he was finesse. He has talent, just not for the EPL. He himself said he fits more into La Liga's indirect style of play.

He wasnt much good the first time. Do we really want him back?
