Benyaoun just tweeted he has to fly back to Chelsea tomorrow. To agree with them a deal with one of the clubs mentioned today. I would love him at arsenal!

Hopefully he wont join arsenal, he's good but i honestly believe he would be a step in the wrong direction considering the players we have been linked with. Plus it would be sad that a player who has hardly played for Chelsea would improve arsenal.

1. with West Ham for Scott Parker on loan for the season

I told you a few days back that Park Young would sign and wear the no 9 shirt. It took a bit longer than I was told but it has now been confirmed.
My uncle is a former league manager and now manages a youth team/scout for prem league clubs. He tells me that Park is pretty good. Personally I'm not convinced, by the time you hit 26 if you are any good you'd have been playing for a big team. But he knows more than me so hey ho. He does however rave over Gervinho and kept going on about him when we went to the Emirates cup.

I also said that Cahill was due a medical a few days ago, I asked, he shook his head. I think that ones dead now.
I was told that there is a lot of activity but I don't have any more names

Mertsacker has had 75 caps for germany and is only 26 yrs old. fyi Germany have a better team and defence than englands they are ranked 3 in the world and certainly proved that major tournments they can deal with big stage. Mertesacker is world class

Also we have been tryingto loan out chamak but he wants to stay and fight for his place, expect him to be sold next summer could even make the team on Sunday which tells you everything he was just a cheap free signing dead

People who are saying that Hazard won't come because of his statement saying he is happy at Lille, have to remember that just because he has said that, doesn't mean it is true. Just as we speak Per Mertesacker is on his way to finalise a move to Arsenal, despite saying throughout the summer that he wouldn't leave. Nasri said at the start of the season he wouldn't leave as well. And if Arsenal offer 35mil, like they supposedly did at Borussia Dortmund for Gortze, for Hazard, then his head may be turned.

A shock marquee signing will be brought in. People say M'Villa is the big player but, I personally don't think it is. M'Villa may arrive, but I see a big marquee signing coming in, and I doubt it is anyone we have been strongly linked with. Wenger is always bringing in shock players out of nowhere e.g. Santos, Park, Eduardo etc

Terry has always been overrated(lacks pace, constantly out of position and is at fault for many goals conceded) and Ferdinand was a great defender up until 3 years ago.

Where did you hear this? I've looked on the net and can't find this agents comfirmation anywhere. My mate who is Korean has told me that national footballers for Korea are exempt from the 2 year service. They need only to serve 4 weeks.

Sol wasn't that slow, besides they compensated with lack of pace by positional sense and reading of game- met doesn't have that to the same extent.

Campbell was deceptively fast actually, besides, a great defender who can read the game generally will not need to be lightning quick.

Cam bell definitely not slow I raced against him in a skipping race at my sons schools sports day and he whipped everyone! I also ran 100 metres for Essex back in the day and he done me by at least 8 meters.

Things are looking up. What we need is experience to blend in with our talented youth and that seems to be exactly what we're getting.

Santos. Experienced international.
Mertesacker. Captain of his club.
Chu young. Captain of his country.

We are finally signing leaders.
I still feel we're short in central midfield so I'm hoping for a marquee signing in this position.

All of these players should have been signed months ago, but after last weekend, it's better late than never!

I agree with you marquee signing comment. I would rather the spend a massive amount of money on a marquee signing and even if they still come 4th in the league it would be better than not trying to bring in someone of that quality.
