Sahin deal is still very much on the cards however I understand there has been a slight disagreement regarding who pays the majority of his wages.
SL

Believable25 Unbelievable14

I say just pay the lot, this guy is class

Agree0 Disagree1

Good player but do we really need a CM once Wilshere returns, we'll have to many CMs. Diaby is looking class in pre season to.

Agree0 Disagree0

Temp replacement for wilshere and long turn replacement for arteta GREAT deal

Agree0 Disagree0

Please do not build your hopes up around Diaby, he will be injured before the end of September and then will not be seen till next year. I feel sorry for him as he is a good player, but you cannot pin your hopes on him !

Arsenal have reportedly accepted a £22.5m Juventus bid for RvP.

Believable32 Unbelievable25

Reported where?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldnt mind if this is true

Agree0 Disagree0

20m Profit

Agree0 Disagree0

Reportedly?!? Whos reported it?, no media sources?

Goonerman

Agree0 Disagree0

Where how why when what.....more info please.....you know something or you are trying to make yourself interesting...

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats your source?

Agree0 Disagree0

Which third of RVP have Juventus bought?

Agree0 Disagree0

Please let it be true - we want him out of the premier league!

Agree0 Disagree0

Funding a move for cazorla! now bring in some defensive reinforcements

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully
kb

Agree0 Disagree0

Bad news, Man United bid the 22.5m pounds guys. Looks like Ferguson will get RVP. As much as I don't like it, think Arsenal will will take the money unless someone comes in and matches the fee. Juventus look like they aren't interested at that price. Only City can change the picture, but they too are now talking of youth that will come good in 2-3 years time.

Agree0 Disagree1

To be honest, if he has to go - I prefer this as a destination.

RVP in a man utd shirt would be very painful.

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

I was in Sicily at the end of May - all the papers and sports programmes were reporting RvP to Juventus - interviews with ex Juve players and "sources" ... long before he made his statement. If he genuinely wants medals and tophies then perhaps his best chance is with Juve ... maybe not a Champions Lge ... although with Pirlo etc in the team - who knows ?

johntheguv

Agree0 Disagree0

IF it's true then bite their hands off. The player wants out, we don't want to see him playing for another Prem side and the fee's about 8 times what we paid for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sky sports rekon juvetus gettin rvp for 22.5m and it takes it up to 70m including his wages.

Vasilis Torosidis of Olympiakos is intresting Wenger as a back up right-back for sagna as he feels jenkinson is not quite ready for the 1st team yet. Torosidis is valued by Olympiakos at around the £7.5 million mark. He can play right-back, midfield and as a winger. In the past Vasilis Torosidis has intrested Manchester United, Newcastle, Juventus, Roma, Athletico Madrid, Bayer Munich and Liverpool. He has featured in the Euro 2008, World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012 for Greece.

Believable13 Unbelievable28

Source? didn't think so

Agree0 Disagree0

A sub defender for 7.5m of wenger's money. best joke of the day.

Agree0 Disagree0

^santos was 6mil

Agree1 Disagree1

This rumour SHOULD make sense as Jenkinson truly isn't ready to play at a level required for starting right back for Arsenal. However, it will never happen as Wenger desperately tries to prove he still has eye for hidden talent by playing Jenkinson which will cost us points!

Agree0 Disagree0

Jenks is ready in my book and with his crossing abillity will get hat loads of assists this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Santos was 8mil actualli

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this the greek who was brilliant in the first game game of the euro's, came of the bench scored one and won a penalty and had a goal ruled out for offside?

he looked quite gud

spanner

Agree0 Disagree1

Jenhkison "not quite ready" for the 1st Team. That must be the understatement of the year. Jenkinson "way out of his depth" would be more accurate. Came from non-league via a brief stint in League 1 and looks like it. As the poster said above, AW's vanity will mean that he continues to be played way after he's shown he's not good enough. A policy of buying young, unproven players means that for every Fabregas there's going to be a Denilson or a Bendtner. That's not a disaster if you weed them out quickly, but if you continue to play them even when it's obvious that they're rubbish because you can't bear to admit you might get it wrong once in a while, then you're storing up problems for the club. By the way, I'm baffled about the prediction of loads of assists from Jenkinson (assuming it was serious). He's been about as useful going forward as he has defensively so far.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please be true. Jenkinson is no where near good enough especially considering our fixtures at begining of season and sagna isn't too young any more

Agree0 Disagree0

Spanner no it is not. the player you are thininking of is dimitre salpingidis. torosidis is the first choice right back for the Greek national team

Agree0 Disagree0

We should get dimitre instead he looked like a very good team, player who does he play for?

cheers,

spanner

Agree0 Disagree0

Torosidis has 7million Euros buy out,his in the last year of his contract so with 2-2,5 million EUROS its yours

I have good authority in Nicklas Bentdner being offered to Borussia Dortmund for 11m, but they have said that they will only consider it if Robert Lewandowski decides to leave them.
SL

Believable23 Unbelievable16

I have it on good authority that Bendtner has been offered to every team in the German, English, Spanish and Italian premier leagues.....

Agree3 Disagree0

^^
We need to offer him to the scottish and welsh leagues to actually find anyone who wants him

Agree0 Disagree0

Why don't we just offer Bendtner as part exchange (with cash) for Lewandowski

Agree1 Disagree0

Bendtner for 11m? what are you smoking bro? what next? Bentley for 35m?

Agree0 Disagree0

I have it on good authority that even his mum won't take him on a free!

Agree1 Disagree0

Why not do a swap deal + cash

Agree0 Disagree0

Lads lads...maybe we've offered Dortmund £11 million to take him off our hands.

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct me if i am wrong but didnt we want Ledwolski? why dont we strike a swap deal with some cash?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah if they are fine for £11 million then a cash + player deal would work very well due to RVP probably going

Agree0 Disagree0

A crate of Becks and 2 dozen Frankfurter Sausages and Borussia can have him! World Class Player....as Jim Royle says, my a$$! devon gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do you all tell so much s*** about Bendtner. Scored more than Walcott, van Persie, Podolski or Giroud at the Euros.
He is an excellent striker. Just never had a real go in the team.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 million would be a legendary deal for us. And I'm a Dortmund supporter!....... No really I'm arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal should offer £20 million + Bendtner for Mario Gotze.

Correspondent in Madrid has just emailed me saying that Sahin has been planned and he has been told that they are currently negotiating a clause in the loan deal which would allow Arsenal to sign him for 17m, as it would interest both parties. He is planned as Wilshere replacement until October/November then to be used in Arteta role or as a squad player.
SL

Believable22 Unbelievable17

With Jack now out until Oct earliest, I think this would be a great idea.

He has great pace and is very creative.

AFC

Agree1 Disagree0

Wouldn't say no

Agree0 Disagree0

I keep hearing that the loan to buy is the problem, as Real Madrid bought Sahin as Alonso's long-term replacement.

Billybob

Agree1 Disagree0

What would happen, if under Arsens guidence, Sahin had a fantastic season. What is stopping RM from pulling the plug on a permanent deal?
butty

Agree0 Disagree0

^they can't if there is a clause in the loan deal, it's up to the player

Agree0 Disagree0

It's Up To Him If He Was To Tell Rm He Didn't Want To Return Do You Think They Would Make Him?

Agree0 Disagree0

Forward the email
89'gooner

Agree1 Disagree0

This is will be a very smart move by wenger, as he can fill wilsheres role until he returns and den eventually taking artetas role as he is 29-30, DO NOT LET spurs take him as he will excel in north london

Arsenal will sign Santiago Cazorla in the next 30 hours, after one of Malaga's club representatives(to remain unknown until completion of the deal) told my friend(fellow journalist, also to remain anonymous as he is well known and told me he doesn't want his reputation burnt if the deal took a turn for the worse). I have contacted the head correspondent of my job category and he says I can spread it. Already told sulia. Also I have knowledge of advanced talks, with another player from the Liga BBVA

SL

Believable24 Unbelievable16

Yes they will

Agree0 Disagree0

Already told sulia? What does that even mean?
Ibster

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is the other player? Sahin maybe?

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is sulia??

CheetahChaz97

Agree0 Disagree0

I was praying to the lord God almighty last night and he told me that Cazorla is 98% complete. He told me not to spread the story yet, however I have already sinned today so what the hell!
Chess

Agree0 Disagree0

CAZORLA AND SAHIN great deal if we can insert a buy clause into sahins loan deal, also bring in M Niang he will be a BEAST for years to come, and fullback reinforcement mayb sakho

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't mean to be harsh but even if this is true it's just a rehashing of the most publicised arsenal story doing the rounds at the moment. You've just dressed it up a bit.

In Arsene I Trust.

Ed - is there any genuine interest in Wanyama from Celtic? I have read that we had him watched 3 times in pre season.

cheers, Andy {Ed007's Note - Gilles Grimandi recommended Wanyama to Wenger as an alternative to M'Vila.}

Believable14 Unbelievable11

Hopefully this is just publicity poke to drive the price for M'Vila down a few bob.

Zar

Agree1 Disagree0

Rather have capoue or biglia as an alternative to wanyama

Agree3 Disagree0

Wanyama is a much better choice than biglia even last season when celtic played rennes in the europa league wanyama played much better than m'villa who was sent off. Being an arsenal and celtic fan this would be a move I would encourage but do think arsenal have enough talent in cdm role especially with coquelin and yennaris breaking through

Agree0 Disagree1

To be honest I dont believe the hype about Wanyama, yes he done a job in a mediocre at best league but he would be out his depth in the EPL. Sorry but Arsenal should be aiming higher

Agree3 Disagree0

Get serious wanyama plays for a pub team

Agree0 Disagree0

You English fans are arrogant persons. Just becuase the SPL is not the best league in the world it doesn't mean Wanyama is not a great player. The boy is only 20 and most players of this age are not playing for a massive team like Celtic. Who are Rennes compared to Celtic FFS? Wanyama at 19 dominated M'Villa last year but you are happy to pay £24m for him.....utter clowns!! Do you not remember a certain Ian Wright? What age was he when he made it from NON LEAGUE and he wasn't half bad but you bad mouth a 20 year old who I GUARANTEE will be one of the best players in Europe one day. Get off your arrogant high horse. I'd rather play for a massive club like Celtic than fight for 4th place in your league that only 2 teams can win. No wonder RVP wants out.......martyc1888

Agree0 Disagree0

Marty (must be feldman)celtic will never be a massive club now, you lost your bargain power when you put rfc out the spl clowns

I am still worried about Arsenal's training & fitness regimes. Wenger has stated that he doesnt think the team will be ready for the start of the season & Wilshere has become another in a long line of permanently injured players. Whilst he also doesnt thing Giroud & Podolski will be ready, fitness-wise for the start of the season.

Believable15 Unbelievable16

That's not true at all!

Podolski and Giroud will be fit, they had a break after the euros and have been doing training, fitness and media stuff as normal for new signings and pre-season. The only players who won't be fit for the start of the season are the injured players.

Agree1 Disagree1

I hope wenger is playing mind games

Agree1 Disagree0

Cant believe we turn jack wilshere into an inury prone player, its no coincidence that young players in our care become injury prone! the damn medical team has to be replaced wilshere will never fufil his potential now!

Agree0 Disagree2

Giroud and podolski are out for the start of the season, the fa doctors need to take a closer look at jacky boy, get him fit, our teams medical staff are useless

Anyone else hearing about us signing Bastia captain Yannick Cahuzac ?

Is it true ?

Its all over French TV

Believable5 Unbelievable27

The only thing that sort of makes this rumour believable is that he is a DM.

Aside from that, there is nothing on the internet linking him to AFC at the moment, not a single result that has Arsenal and Cahuzac together in a single sentence.

Besides, what kind of a player is he? Is he rated?
