I wouldn't. He's an important goal contributor from midfield and competing with Xhaka for a place should bring out the best of both. For a player like Ramsey, who's been consistently one of the better midfielders in the league, and counts as homegrown, we should be demanding 50 minimum. It's bonkers, but so is everything else now.

If he was that good why ain't we fighting the opposition off with a stick for his signature?

Wire - with a year left on his contract we not going to get anywhere near 50Mill for Ramsey 30Mill tops and that might be pushing it tbh. Ramsey is a bit of a oddity in our side as he is actually one of the few offensively that are better without the ball than with the ball making some really good runs in the box he is kind of what Lampard used to be like in that sense. Yes he is a decent player but we have better in Ozil for his preferred position and he is replacable without doubt with equal or better with targets we could get. Maybe it is not down to money so much maybe he is not keen on the demands of Emery, and misses the protection of father figure Wenger and if that is the case good riddance we need all of them 100% on board and behind the coach. Out with the old cosy club and in with the new.

G62 consistent in that he's averaged 6 goals and 6 assists a season in the league for the last 5 years. His return from deeper midfield is fairly steady. See what you mean on the contract situation though.

Fair point Wire mate but with the lack of interest in Aaron from others so far 30 million might be ambitious.
Ox had both Liverpool and Chelsea chasing him last season but so far Aaron has no one very excited about signing him.
Just wondering what we see in Aaron Liverpool city Chelsea and Spurs don't see.
