BBC Sport have reported that Arsenal may go for Buffon in the summer, with his contract up

I thought he has a degenerative back, and his contact goes until 2013 (quote wikipedia)

If (and that's a BIG if) then i can see him as tutoring someone like that Youngster called up to England duty a few years ago (James Shea is it) and potentially covering for injuries - ED your thoughts?

{Ed002's Note - I concur about the contract running until 2013 and I would have thought Arsenal might want to look closer to home for a goalkeeper to fight for the #1 spot in Scott Loach from Watford.}
