Just read on Give Me Football that we have sent scouts to FC Cologne to look at Lukas Podolski and that we plan to make a bid in January. If this is true then I think we wouldn't have to always rely on RVP for our goals.

There is a down fall though, because he will cost in the region of 15m-20m.

Do you think Arsene Wenger will buy him?

He Won't Cost That Much He Plays For A Small Team And He's Not Wanted By Many Clubs

Great Player

If he costs less then 10m I do think AW might buy him but sure if he will in January might have to wait till summer.

I dont rate him highly as some others do. He wastes a LOT of chances and although coming to arsenal would give him plenty of chances, im not sure he is the answer. Also, wenger would just play him on the left wing as he does with every striker he buys..so...not what we need I think.

Daniel He Plays Left Wing For Germany Where He's Scored 42 Goals

Agree0 Disagree0

This guy is hardly prolific. Has a rocket of a shot but very hit and miss. I think we have plenty of players who struggle infront of goal and at 20 m he is expensive. Tevez at 25 if this is genuinely his price is surely the option.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wen he was a munich he didnt score alot but when he made his deput in euros he scored 2 in his fisrt game

Agree0 Disagree0

Much better than Miyaichi so I think we should get him, Ł15 million would be the maximum offer though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, mertasacker will convince him to come

Listen Dont Act Like You Know Podolski Hes a Briliant Player And Would Do Great On The Left for Arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a ton of truth to this rumor as Arsenal have been sniffing Podolski for years. He would be deadly on the left.

Agree0 Disagree0

Podoloski definitely has some downsides, but he would add a lot to this arsenal team.

Likes to shoot from distance (something we lack)
Power and Aggression (Our players are pacey and technical)
Experience.

Seen today that Eden Hazard has said he is ready to leave Lille this summer.. He was quoted in L'Equipe that "I feel ready to make it to the next level at a big club. I stayed in Lille this season because there were still things I had to work on, things to prove. But now, I'm ready."

And then when asked about PSG he said "Paris is not for now," he added. "Paris is magical, as they say. Of course it attracts me, but for now, no. In France I do not want to build a rival club to Lille. After France, I want to go abroad."

I looked through a few different websites to see who they thought were the front runners and most of them have Real Madrid and Chelsea at the top but they do say Arsenal and Man Utd will be interested.
Really dont see us competing with those clubs resources. Its bad though because I know Wenger and all the fans would love to sign him. But you never know. If he is as good as people say maybe Arsenal might pull this one off.

With another player Stevan Jovetic has signed a new contract so he wont be moving any where any time soon!

Hes An Ego If He Goes To Madrid I Can See Him Falling out With Jose Mourinho

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw that story on Talksport and then went and checked the Eurosport website, To be honest if that doesnt get Wenger on the blower sorting out a contract then i dont no what will, I posted the other day about RVP to Madrid, Hazard you can apply the same too, Finances firstly, I dont beleive in the current climate in spain Real are going to start a bidding war for Eden, neither Barca (40 million for Sanchez 35 million for Cesc so dont get too excited of a spanish giant poaching Hazard. Real have a pretty dynamic midfield so i cant see Jose rushing to buy him either.
Personally i hope he is watching Arsenal because having been written off again we are now back in the swing of things so maybe he has realised that snubbing us in the summer only to end up bottom of their Champs league group and not really that great in Ligue 1 (3rd i think) so maybe Gervinho and Vermaelen have a word and Man S$$tty can go F$$K.

Don't forget Chelsea have Mata, I wish we'd have stumped up the cash for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mata might be the premier league buy of the season. He is playing really well for chelsea straight off the plane - no settling in time needed. I wish we had signed him, IF we even had the chance to do so.

Daniel

I would rather Cristian Eriksen. This guy LOKS GOOD. Will be more affordable and we have a strong relationship with Ajax - unlikely our relationship with Lille (after park).

Arsenal planning second spell of kolo toure at january

Thanks, but no thanks

Agree0 Disagree0

Id love it if it were true but I doubt it. He probably will go to the African Nations with Ivory Coast as will Gervinho and Song, we have some damned tough games in that period so unlikely. I dont think he will bid for a centre half unless one of ours gets a long term injury before then. Midfield is more likely. A move for Granero is possible but we will probably lose out to Malaga. Also Gourcuff on loan with a view to a permanent off Lyon is possible as they probably dont want to sell to another French club and most other teams wont take a risk on him.

Agree0 Disagree0

No Thanks, his best days are well behind him now and would add very little to our sduad now to be honest. A commited player but has not got the legs anymore. More likely will go to a lower French club were the pace is a bit slower.

Agree0 Disagree0

At 30 I Doubt It Also Wages

Agree0 Disagree0

No thanks let city keep him and pay the over paid likes of him and Nasri and Cliche.

Agree0 Disagree0

His brother would be ideal, always thought it was a massive mistake missing out on Yaya

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsene Wenger has said many times that he doesn't buy players he has sold. super sol is the only one. why else would he not have taken vieira when he was available? and toures wages are going to be rather high at city.
