Ed - you seem fairly certain we are are going after wanyama.do you think this is because there is a chance song might leave? wenger was quick to rule out m'vila saying we had plenty of options in midfield.with cazorla and possibly sahin coming in,surely someone must be heading out the door if we are moving for wanyama?

cheers, andy {Ed022's Note - You would think so mate. I am very certain of this Wanyama bid and interest from Arsenal, which would mean the end of interest in M'Vila it seems, and could well spell the end of someone's Arsenal career.}

Believable18 Unbelievable7

Arshavin or ramesy with song moving forward thats why we need a dm

Agree2 Disagree0

Why not the end of Diaby or Denilson's career? Maybe Song in the long term depending on how Wanyama does but as many fans are rightly pointing out, the team needs strength and depth. Wages might be the only impediment to squad size thought.

Stewart

Agree1 Disagree0

Hopefully Song

Clg

Agree0 Disagree1

If it's the end of Song with Arsenal then it is purely a move to recoup ~10 mill from what we've outlaid already this summer. Sell for 16-17 million, buy for 7 million. 10 million profit!

Agree0 Disagree0

With abou, andre & neves all looking likely to move on or being injured in abou's case i think a back up holding midfielder to complement song would be a quality addition to the team, but i fear we could be held back in signing wanyama because of the squad size restraints i could be wrong though, i also feel the proffesor will try very hard to keap alexander song billong for as long as possible so i can not see song moving to barca easily i do not believe wanyama is a replacement for song but more of an addition if the deal can be made

Agree1 Disagree1

Celtic fan here,,,if use manage 2 get wanyama then use will have a great young player on ur hands,,,just dont expect 2 get him on the cheap lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought Denilson went back to Brazil on a permanent? {Ed035's Note - Only a loan deal

Agree1 Disagree0

Wanyama is highly over-rated, he was a good player in the SPL last season, not a great player and the difference between the SPL and EPL is massive.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed¬ anything wrong in Arsenal having two solid DM in Song & Yann M'villa at the same time ? {Ed027's Note - not at all, but then what about Wilshere Arteta Carzola, personally id want atleast two of those three in team

Agree2 Disagree0

Your right wanyama plays for a over rateted pub team just not good enought for the gooners

Agree0 Disagree0

Just remember songs agent is Darren dein and winger knows all the players at his agency have left - plan now as history tells you he will leave along with the other cesc Rvp henry and more

Agree0 Disagree0

End of Jack Wilshere's career, he's not playing again. He'll just get set back after set back untill he calls it a day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic fan here. if wanyama was playing in the epl he would be worth about 15 million in my opinion. if you get him he will be a fantastic player for you. i dont think we would get that cash for him as the spl is very weak but he was a stand out in our europa games against quality teams. his bro plays for inter i think. anyway , top player that if he keeps progressing will be a world class cm......bhoywonder

03 Aug 2012 20:16:00
Ewhen do you expect the Carzola deal to be finalised?

Cheers mate

Much appreciated {Ed022's Note - I cannot predict timings of transfers, however it is not done yet. People have got ahead of themselves for the past few weeks.}

Believable22 Unbelievable5

Wednesday - Deal agreed with agent
Thursday - Player completes medical
Friday - Press shots at Colney / Signs deal
Up to Arsenal now when to announce, hopefully trying to bring in another player to announce at the same time? Sahin or Wanyama maybe. We never do the big song n dance when we sign players

Exo

Agree2 Disagree0

How have we got ahead of ourselves? He's been spotted in an airport and Colney and Arsenal youth player Arinse Uade tweeting nice to see Cazorla in training ground!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Cazorla will be announced on his own, think about it..... Why would we wait to announce our club record signing (if reports are to be believed) at rhe same time with a 12 month loanee.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ahead of ourselves, really?

Sahin hint as interest in DEMBELE becomes higher, but only if they sell. Mourinho told SAHIN that he could leave and arsenal are biggest contenders to land the playmaker

Also carzorla to be announced soon as he passed medical yesterday evening

Why dont we get Dembele, he is a beast.

{Ed022's Note - There is a brand new Player Profile on Victor Wanyama of Celtic. Arsenal see this man as the better, cheaper alternative to Yann M'Vila, and are about to/have just bid for the Celtic midfielder and seem to be set on bringing him to the Emirates. All the information on him as a player is covered on the profile, and if you want to find out any more details etc then feel free to come on over to the site and drop a comment onto his profile etc. - www.player-profiles.co.uk - cheers all.}

Believable9 Unbelievable8

I live in Scotland and watch the SPL every week being a big Hibs fan but also a big Arsenal fan and I honestly don't think Wanyama is to Premier League quality... would be a bad signing if true. {Ed022's Note - There is no 'if'.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem is he now champions league tied after playing for celtic this week cannot see wenger buying him after this

Agree2 Disagree0

Hibs fan you havent a clue Wanyama is top class

Agree0 Disagree1

Qualifiers don't count in terms of being cup tied

praying we dont negotiate this cazorla deal into the ground like the mata situation last year, the sources reporting this deal are all reliable eg- sky sports bbc the guardian etc so this seems not just a rumour, would be the 3rd left footed signing but wenger knows, the sahin thing seems less realistic although he would improve the squad..... we have options in center midfield with diaby git and wilshere coming back, not saying we dont need to strengthen midfield but a loan deal dont make sense unless someone leaves or we have an option to buy, if he has been seen in london it's more believable he's involved in the modric deal (imo). still.... if we do get him its all good, m'vila deals gone quiet... any1 kno if its still on??? also.... any1 kno y gibbs didnt make the gb squad?? would of liked to of seen more gooners in the team

MaxTPL {Ed022's Note - Did you just call Sly Sports reliable? Followed by the Guardian? Oh dear oh dear. Nevertheless, there is certainly interest from Arsenal in Cazorla, but I believe efforts are being made elsewhere at the moment in Scotland. Arsenal's interest in M'Vila has faded, as they see Victor Wanyama as a better, cheaper alternative - and are about to make a bid actually.}

Believable18 Unbelievable8

Dear ed. I'd say that arsenal are more advanced than just interested... {Ed022's Note - Cazorla is getting closer to a move to Arsenal yes, but could you please tell me the fee, wages, agents fee, VAT and medical results right now? The deal is not done, that's exactly what I'm saying. Does it look like it could be done soon? Yes, it looks likely to be that way - but it is not DONE right now, and it hasn't been DONE the past few weeks as so many Tw*tterers have claimed over and over. I believe that the deal is becoming closer, but it is not done.}

Agree1 Disagree0

I think we are making sure that there is plenty of time built in for Man City and/or Barcelona to tap him up for next year. After all, as soon as the ink is dry, his contract EXPIRES in four years and we can't be sure about AFC's ambition.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, what do you mean interest he's pratically signed. {Ed022's Note - See previous answer.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry ed lol i kno u cant believe everthing u read in the papers just a mixture of me wanting to believe it and needing more than a random rumour eg- people posting the deals done with no confirmation ilike the post below, would believe it if sky dports were confirming, and yes wanyama looks a safe bet, a bit of steel in the middle, what about sahin?

MaxTPL {Ed022's Note - Don't get me wrong, Cazorla does look likely to get sorted, but unfortunately there are complications with the fee etc. Malaga's owner at the moment is in a hell of a lot of trouble, so there would be much complications with where the fee would go and how much it would be (inflation, extra-VAT etc). However, this should get sorted soon and I would say the Cazorla deal is certainly looking likely, but it really isn't a done deal as of yet.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont even bother talking about diaby we all know he wont last a game in the prem. might aswell count him out of the squad alltogether to be honest...

Agree0 Disagree0

Cazorla is actually right footed, he's just an absolute boss with his left as well.

Jersey Gooner

Agree1 Disagree0

If wanyama played wednesday night,then he is cup tied for the champions league,so i doubt very much we'd buy him {Ed022's Note - I may as well stop telling you 'fans' what is happening with Arsenal then eh?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cazorla is ambidextrous.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought you could use one player in the CL that has played for another club in a european competition

Agree0 Disagree0

Cazorla right footed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh so he is right/both footed? sorry my bad! saw a few of his goals on youtube longrange with his left.......even better! if deal go's through we have a quality addition!! for years ppl say we try walk the ball into the net or over elaborate, a flamboyant player with his technique able to make a goal out of nothing can make a difference in tight games an get us points we have lmissed in previous years, the coming seasons looking bright!!!! ARSENAL TILL I DIE!!

And we have Rvp to thank for giving the board the boot up the a##e they needed

Believable38 Unbelievable26

So Deluded Did We Not But Giroud And Podolski Before He Made His Statement Before the Window Even Opened.

Agree0 Disagree0

U really think vp had a part to play in this? Like if he just signed a new contract that would of stopped us getting podolski and cazorla? Someone has already posted what gazidis said last yer! This has been in the pipeline for a while

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe money is bein spend because of the fair play rules coming in next years.

DA

Agree1 Disagree0

Do we?

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2012 16:28:56
That would be the boot up the a##e to sign the player they tried to last summer before being gazzumped by Mega Million Malaga's bid (using money they didn't have)? Not sure your logic follows! {Ed035's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow how delusional. RVP riding to the rescue as he flies off to City or United or wherever! Or of course it could just be Arsene had already wrapped up Podolski and Giroud, and that he is looking at Sahin because of the Wilshere problems?
What do you think? Oh and I for one will be at the back of any queue looking to praise RVP.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did Robin Van Persie present the Arsenal board with a rigorously costed plan to show them how they could move forward with new avenues of investment? I think not. RVP is a player and, like any other player, is an employee of the club. He does not direct the policy of an entire business.

Stewart

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance, RVP to thank for WHAT!!!!
scoring goals.....is that what we pay him a 100K a week

Agree0 Disagree0

With all due respect podolski and giroud are not world class , yet . Why are we not buying proven pl class players . Why buy carzorla when we could get ben arga , it happens every summer

Agree0 Disagree2

FFP is getting scrapped cos teams can get around it with insane sponsorship deals like man citys owners getting another company he owns to sponsor them for 400 million a year.

Agree0 Disagree1

Good, Now we can give RVP the boot up the a**e that HE DESERVES!
Hope he f***S off anywhere, very very soon.
GOOD RIDDANCE!

Agree0 Disagree1

Cazorla Is Alot Better Than Ben Arfa {Ed022's Note - Agreed.}

Agree1 Disagree0

"why but Cazorla when you can buy Ben arga?"

Assuming you mean Ben arfa, maybe it's because Cazorla is better?

D

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you have that many caps for Germany without being worldclass? I agree with Giroud but he will be in time

Agree0 Disagree0

You could say, he gave us a kick up the... Arsenal.

That was dreadful, I apologise.

Ted

Agree0 Disagree0

How on earth can you say podolski is not world class? That's the stupidest thing I've read on here in a long time, and there has been some grade a s***e!
As for Ben arfa, you say you want world class but you'd rather him then santi cazorla? You need help, seriously...
Do me a favour and repost this with your name signed so I can skip to the bottom of every post from now on and disregard it off hand if it's you.

James

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah he's paid very well too do his job , but so are a lot of players there and they are not doing there job . It's been the same story for 7-8 Years - sell our top performers and replace them with inferior cheaper ones . Yes it's good for the books , but we haven't won anything in that time . It's time for a change and Rvp has highlighted it in the best possible way ( it was either that or finish 5th )

Agree0 Disagree1

Can I just say...the arguments here are a waste of time! the fact is; Podolski is world class and a fantastic signing, Giroud is world class and a fantastic signing, Cazorla is definately world class and a fantastic signing! and most certainly better then that ben arfa bloke?? arsene you have done brilliantly and i believe you have at least one more great signing planned....you are the professor!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rvp is just a football player who is paid very well to be a inspiring and loyal captain - he has failed at this and now you are telling me he is saving the club - what a load of ***t

Player for player we probably have a compable squad to Man City (assuming RVP stays, which he may not!); although perhaps not the depth in defense.

Aguero vs RVP
Tevez vs Podolski
Dzeko vs Giroud
Balotelli vs Theo
Nasri vs Gervinho/Rosicky
Adam J vs Ox

Silva vs Cazorla
Barry vs Arteta
De Jong vs Song
Milner vs Sahin
Yaya vs Diaby

Clichy vs Gibbs
Kolarov vs Santos
Zabaleta vs Sagna
Ricahrds vs Jenkinson

Lescott vs Koscielny
Kompany vs Vermanlen
Toure vs Merts
Savic vs Djourou

Hart vs Shazza

All very hypothetical, very meaningless and VERY EXCITING.

Billybob

Believable29 Unbelievable18

Aguero vs RVP = Draw
Tevez vs Podolski = Draw
Dzeko vs Giroud = Man C
Balotelli vs Theo = Man C
Nasri vs Gervinho/Rosicky = Man C
Adam J vs Ox = Ars

Silva vs Cazorla = Man C
Barry vs Arteta = Ars
De Jong vs Song = Ars
Milner vs Sahin = Ars
Yaya vs Diaby = Man C

Clichy vs Gibbs = Man C
Kolarov vs Santos = Draw
Zabaleta vs Sagna = Ars
Ricahrds vs Jenkinson = Man C

Lescott vs Koscielny = Ars
Kompany vs Vermanlen = Man C
Toure vs Merts = Draw
Savic vs Djourou = Ars

Hart vs Shazza = Man C

Man City = 9
Arsenal = 7

Unfortunately not. We need quality not quantity.

JW

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately City Win With Most Play On That List Put The League Isnt Won On Paper

Agree0 Disagree0

Koscielny and Vermaelen way better than Kompany and Lescott in terms of ability, the only reason Arsenal look fragile is because of their high backline, did you know Kos and Verm made most last ditch challenges last season, and Vermaelen only played half the season!

Agree0 Disagree0

Just my opinion but this is who i think is superior from this list;

Aguero < RVP
Tevez > Podolski
Dzeko < Giroud
Balotelli = Theo i.e. both inconsistent
Nasri > Gervinho/Rosicky
Adam J < Ox

Silva > Cazorla
Barry < Arteta
De Jong >>> Diaby

Clichy > Gibbs
Kolarov = Santos
Zabaleta > Jenkinson

Lescott < Koscielny
Kompany > Vermanlen
Toure > Merts
Savic = Djourou i.e. both are s***

Hart > Shazza

just my opinion but overall city are still better purely based on the influence of Yaya and Silver - You forgot Wilshere!!! our best player IMO!

I'd put him above Sahin, Arteta, Ramsey, Diaby, Song, Ox, Theo, Gir, Pod and any other player you wish to mention in an Mid-Att position!

BMS

Agree0 Disagree0

I know he's still injured but.. Wilshere vs ?

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't say we are better, I said we are comparable and even that makes it all exciting. I know paper is not the same as form and actual performances, but this is the first time in a fews, where I have seen so many exciting names in our squad!

Even in the above examples, where man city "wins", by how much really?

its certainly not:
chamakh vs dzeko
park vs tevez
ramsey vs silva

In one transfer window we have mad gigantic strides!

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

If you compare that squad too Manchester United, not only does it match it, I think it surpasses it! This could be a bright season if things go our way!

Agree0 Disagree0

Man utd is a very different team, which makes it a little hard to compare - but again, the gap between ourselves and the manchester teams is smaller.

Rooney vs RVP
Hernandez vs Podolski
Berbatov vs Giroud
Young vs Theo
Giggs vs Rosicky
Nani vs Gervinho
Welbeck vs Ox

Kagawa vs Cazorla
Scholes vs Arteta
Carrick vs Song
Cleverly vs Sahin
Fletcher vs Diaby
Valencia vs Ramsey

Evra vs Gibbs
Rafael vs Santos
Jones vs Sagna
? vs Jenkinson

Rio vs Koscielny
Vidic vs Vermanlen
Evans vs Merts
Smailing vs Djourou

De Gea vs Shazza

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Overall sqaud quality between us and the two Manchester clubs is very close. I just feel City just still have one or two more individual match winners that can win a game on their own and Utd have that stronger winning mentality having been there and done it so many times.

I think Arsenal are the strongest from a technical passing and control prospective. Alot will depend on injuries ofcourse(which we are due better luck on) and what transfers come in and out up until the season starts.

Agree0 Disagree0

It isn't about individuals, it is about the team as a whole. i reckon while we may not have nearly as many individual stars, we aren't far away from them as a TEAM

Agree0 Disagree0

Aguero < RVP
Tevez > Podolski
Dzeko > Giroud
Balotelli > Theo
Nasri > Gervinho/Rosicky
Adam J < Ox

Silva > Cazorla
Barry < Arteta
De Jong < Song
Milner > Sahin (reason Milner wins is because we don't have Sahin and we're not getting Sahin).
Yaya ? Diaby (we will see just how good Diaby can get if he manages to stay fit).

Clichy > Gibbs
Kolarov > Santos
Zabaleta < Sagna
Ricahrds > Jenkinson

Lescott < Koscielny
Kompany > Vermanlen
Toure > Merts
Savic < Djourou

Hart > Shazza

I count that at Man City 12 : 7 Arsenal. But that's just my opinion to be fair. Player for player we aren't as good but...

Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis has joined the FA™s Professional Game Board (PGB) and the FA Council ahead of the 2012/13 season.

The two prestigious appointments will see Gazidis contribute to the decision-making process at the game™s governing level, impacting the way the sport develops from grassroots upwards.

As one of four appointments made by the Premier League to the PGB, Gazidis will play a key role in supporting and advising the FA Board on matters relating to the professional game. The committee has a broad remit including administering the FA Cup, the national England set-up and the FA™s relationship with FIFA and UEFA.

Gazidis also becomes one of eight Premier League representatives to sit on the FA Council for the 2012/13 campaign. The body recently gave its vote in support of a significant youth development review which will see small-sided games made mandatory for players up to under-12 level, phased in by the start of the 2014/15 season.

In addition to these new appointments, Gazidis will continue his work with a number of the senior governing bodies with which he is already involved. These include FIFA™s Dispute Resolution Chamber, the European Clubs Association where he is chairman of the Legal Advisory Panel, and the Premier League Working Group for Elite Player Performance.

Gazidis said: I am delighted to be joining these important footballing bodies. The appointments mean Arsenal will be represented in many of the key debates in the game both here in the UK and in Europe.

As i posted yesterday, Carzola spoke to Cesc about Arsenal and Cesc told him, only good things about the club, and what a great club he would be joining, and how he would be joining a club with the most loyal fans in the country. I believe The gunners fans will be really excited by this signing, a world class player of high technical ability, and when Wilshere is back to his best again, and Arteta and Chamberlain we will be a to compete with City and Chelsea player for player.

Believable15 Unbelievable8

Still a worry over thd defence but spot on

Cazorla has already signed but will not be unveiled until Arsenal have secured Nuri Sahin. They will be presented together early next week.

Robin Van Persie will lead a strong arsenal side on 12th against FC Koln.

Hey guys ,
I think we can look forward to next season.
.....................szczesny
well he will only get better that's for sure we might need a back up goalkeeper but other than that it should be okay.Martinez is much better than shea guys, just letting you know Shea will probably be loaned out then sold in January or released next year.
.....sagna........KoS....Tv5........gibbs
That defence is fantastic bearing in mind that a german captain with over 75 apps does not get into our first team despite being at the age that is arguably when defenders are at their peak.
To be honest djourou is good enough to be a fourth cb so it is not our priority but its likely that the squid will leave and miquel will go on loan so we should look to get one like yanga mbiwa or sakho or abdenour . However it's not priority.
So In terms of defence were okay it's solid and we have a lot of muscle gibbs will improve. I'm not sure whether bartley will stay or go on loan it depends on pre season he still has a lot of work to do and he is not better than djourou .

Agree0 Disagree0

I posted something similar a while ago but circumstances have changed since.
1732

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say that "in terms of defense we're okay" and that "it's solid"? We have an injured right back in Sagna and his under study, Jenkinson, is absolutely not suitable (yet) to play for Arsenal in the PL. On the left back position I am also concerned as Gibbs has a checkered injury history and Andrea Santos is a woeful defender. I think we certain need to bring a right back at minimum as I am not sure how long Sagna will be out for and rushing him back could re-aggravate the break.

Lastly, we still need a 'proper' defensive/holding midfielder to sit in front of the back four. Song is a good midfielder but as you will note from numerous other posts, he doesn't prioritize on his defensive duties as we have had to rely on him for some creativity in the centre of the park in creating chances for our attack.

I am glad about all the additions we have made on the offensive side in Podolski, Giroud and now possibly Cazorla and Sahin but I am not as confident about the defense.

Just my thoughts.

True,
But compared to previous years it is better but yes we need to get a versatile defender however it is not our priority but after carzorla signs then yes it may be.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank God for you ShayGooner, someone who actually talks sense! Sick to death of people saying our defense is solid this, or defense is solid that! Our defense is FAR from solid and quality additions must be made to improve it, especially in the full back areas.

if we are to sell rvp, why not offer him to psg with gameiro (and a fee) coming the other way?

psg can afford rvp's wage demands, and gameiros first team chances will be limited with zlatan already joined.

norwegian gunner

Believable8 Unbelievable10

PSG will have Liegue 1 won by january, with no difficult matches they will fail season after season in CL. I'd like to believe it wouldn't just be the money that RVP wants otherwise flog him to Anzhi! but by your logic i'd prefer Sakho and spend the money on a striker. Kills two birds with one stone; we get the defender we want and the freedom to select a striker.

Gunner Chameleon

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no chance RVP would agree to move to France!

Good idea mate, I'll just get on the phone to Arsene and let him know, better yet, how about I give you his number and you can tell him yourself.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2012 11:53:13
If the rumours are true re Cazorla our midfield is looking rather packed, and if RVP does not go then we are also well stocked up front, surely there must be deals for some of our 'deadwood' players to leave?
We have to be very careful what we wish for as we could end up like city with half decent players sitting in the reserves collecting 50-60k per week and not leaving until their contracts run out.

Please Mr Wenger keep signing but please also let some of these 'Deadwood' players go, even cut price to get them off the wage bill, as sitting in the reserves for a season they will be worth nothing in a years time.

Have to say very excited about our attacking options now, looks like we have the players to be able to change things around when games are'nt going our way rather than being so predictable.

The Reason that AoC has been playing defensively is probably because he
has been focusing on defensive techniques probably why he has been doing a lot of defensive work in matches as he is keen to impress .
I would not say he has been sitting back but yes he has done a lot of defensive work lately.
The article was on Arsenal.com It was about how he has developed as a player recently.

I'm assuming you wrote the first post.
This post was a reply , and for some odd reason it ended up here...
I have not even mentioned song in my first post.
Song play's DM and IMO he is a good one.
AoC plays on the right wing and CaM.
--
The post I replied to said that aoc sit's back.
I am saying that he does not however he has being playing a bit more defensively than on previous occasions because he has been working on his defensive game. Hence why he wanted to showcase his new skills in recent matches to stake his claim in first team football. This is because Wenger does not want another walcott.
I have not implied nor have I said that AoC is training as a DM or in any other defensive position . My first sentence is a bit misleading I meant to say that AoC has been playing more defensively than usual or has been more weary of attacking threats lately...
Hope that clears it up :)

Galatasaray general manager has said:

"I hope to soon see Nuri Sahin at Galatasaray. The player is very close, and the operation may be completed at any moment."

Their GM seems confident of getting Sahin on Loan. {Ed002's Note - I understand that if he were to leave on a permanent basis a move to England is unlikely and I would very much suspect a move to Italy (possibly with AC Milan) or a return to Germany (with Bayern Munich) would come before any thoughts of a move to England - although I recognise there could well be interest from Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United. Malaga also spoke to Madrid about the possibility of a loan and Galatasaray would like to take him to Turkey - which on a loan basis may be attractive to him.}

As Arsenal are hoping/trying to get Nuri sahin on loan and apparently want it with the end of season buy option,
I have a couple of questions about these Loan moves with an option to buy at the end.

1) If there is an option to buy im assuming a price would maybe be set in place from the start of the loan right?

(Reason i'm asking this is the club could just jacked the price up to make it impossible if they change their mind on the player)

2) Can the club loaning the player refuse to sell at the end of the season?

It would suck if we do manage to loan Sahin and he has an amazing season that would change Madrids mind about letting him go

Anyway thanks {Ed002's Note - (1) Sometimes the price is set in the loan agreement, sometimes not. (2) Of course. There are always get out clauses and the player may not wish to join.}
