Van persie has already signed a new contract with arsenal it is a new 4 year deal worth 150k pw and 5 million pound signing on fee.
Van persie is gonna be the 1 to promote the new arsenal kit which will be released on the 12th and it is purple and black.
This is the 1 big thing that gazidiz was talking about.

How do you know ????

Wrong, the new away kit will be big maroon and blue stripes, meaning that we will need a 3rd Kit, which is the purple and black one, its a tidy money making scheme
With regards to RVP that deal sounds possible
Agree0
Disagree0
This sounds fantastic. I really hope it's true. Purple kit sounds interesting.
Agree0

This is rubbish there is no way the club would allow all this uncertainty to continue just to release an away kit

This is a regurgitation of yesterdays post by stezza....

Doubt we would try for a four year deal, in four years time RVP won't be worth that much

I hope they hurry up and announce it then. I'm unusually impatient in this transfer window. Maybe because of what happened last year...

He has been quoted, through the media,as saying,La Liga is the best league in the world.Wonder where he wants to end up...

I thought that was irritating as well braintree, considering how we had such a headache with Campbell in signing him in the first place I'm not very impressed with his attitude so far, talent or not. Unfortunately until the TV money gets fairly distributed amongst the Spanish clubs we'll keep seeing this.
Never mind an English team beat Barca in the UCL...

Heard ? Heard from where
Agree0

Not good enough you muppet, he would certainly add something to our midfield. Good energy and is prepared to shoot from outside the box. Not walk it into the net like we do every week
Agree0
Disagree0
This deal is a dead duck, will not happen this summer at least, i still believe we will sign m'vila from Rennes but not until close to end of transfer window for a cheaper transfer fee.

"prepared to shoot from outside the box" one goal for newcastle probably best he didn't shoot eh ;)

Lloris would be a quality signing, Szczesny isnt good enough yet IMO ed any truth in the 12 million bid rumour? {Ed022's Note - No there isn't, as of yesterday only AC Milan had made a solid enquiry.}
Believable14
Unbelievable17
As much as I lile Szczesny, his kicking is awful, who remembers when we were facing Liverpool in 2010-11 season at the Emirates and Van Persie scored, then we got a goal kick and he didnt even clear the half way line!

Arsenal already have their full quota of non-homegrown over 21 players, Unless and until they offload some of these they won't be bringing any more non-home grown players, so a direct swap not going to happen.

Plz Ed022 tell me do you think wenger will make more signings and in your opinion which plyers are likely to join arsenal? {Ed022's Note - Arsenal will sign more players yes. Well they'll try to anyway. Who will they be? No idea. I cannot say who will certainly sign etc, as anything can change in football. At the moment the work from Arsenal seems to be on trying to get RVP to stay, rather than bringing more players in.}
Believable18
Unbelievable5
I am not alone in believing that RVP kept us in the Champions League positions last year with a wonderful goal tally but at 29 if we can get in excess of GBP25m and purchase a younger striker maybe it's worth taking a chance and selling him. Statistically he has provided poor value for money through the 8(?) years he has been with us averaging 20 odd games a season and a 1 goal in 3 games ratio . the money he is being offered to move at what will be the end of his career is something he will need to retire on and if his thoughts are already on retirement and financial security has he lost the hunger? It's difficult for us Gooners to see players the club has developed want to leave an institution that we all have dreamt of playing for but we must sometimes admit that players come and go yet our club will continue to prosper so if the money is right let RVP drift off into footballing ignominy and let the Club reinvest the money in someone who understands what an honour it is to be part of Arsenal Football Club.

Arsenal are poised to make a £12m bid to sign France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, 25, but face competition from Liverpool and AC Milan.
talk sport
Hope hope this is true!
Believable25

So they face competition from milan then ? if we are being honest no1 in there right mind will join liverpool

Agree0

I dont quite see how we will keep Lloris & Szczesny happy. Both will want 1st team football. The back up forSzczesny has to be either a young keeper happy to be second choice or an older keeper, who again will not mind being second choice.
Agree0
Disagree0
Trust me, wenger will not be signing a keeper. Towards the end of last season he was critising the media for saying he needed a keeper the season before and then Szczesny came and proved him right that he didnt need a a keeper. 12Mil on a keeper?? Get real.
Agree0
Disagree0
This could be true. Sczezney let in the most goals then any other premier league goaly last season. You could say the defence were terrible but there organisation is down to the goal keeper. He will be good and is a good keeer based on his reflexes but still he is too young. He needs more time to develop his control over the defence. And if wenger is looking for another invincables he will need a great keeper.
Agree0
Disagree0
Very expensive for a second choice keeper
Hugo Lloris wont play 2nd place either.

Why do we want a new keeper who could replace "chez". I only think we need to replace Fabianksi.
Agree0

Liverpool have Reina so he won't go there. I'm not so sure Arsene would buy someone better than szchezny but I'd be happy if he did.

Lloris is in london

I think that arsenal should put the bid up too 17.1m

Apparently Arsenal are after Alain Traore who plays as a striker for AJ Auxerre who were relegated to ligue 2 last season so he would be cheap. Apparently newcastle are after him aswell so he must be good.
ed do you know anything about this
