Someone said Kos looked nervous, give the poor guy a break! His first ever game for us he got a red card at Anfield. The next game we drew 1-1 as well. Then they beat us at home with two shocking goals, one if not both being OGs.

Apart from his own goal today, Kos did really well. I don't think he'll be jittery next time we play them. He is still the Bossman in my opinion, one of the best defenders I've seen.

Believable38 Unbelievable6

Dont think the the chap good enouf as a center back might be ok as a left or right back

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree mate defo not good enough for centre half, the tackle he attempted when Suarez waltzed his way through was laughable.

Anyone who think's Boscielny isn't a good enough centre back has no idea what a good centre back is. He has good technique, good vision, a great pass, reads the game very well, best tackler/interceptor in the league and has built up his strength since his debut season. He is as good if not better than Vermaelen although Vermaelen's got a better goal threat. Don't accuse him of being not good enough after one shaky game. Behind RVP and Shezza he has easily been the next best player in our team.

For large parts it seemed we were playing without any defenders we were so pants. Thank god pool cant buy a goal right now.
High time we got lucky!

diaby done his hamstring now! i thought he looked good when he came on but as ive said before hes just always injured and should be released to save on wages as hes not played an hour all season! real shame as ive always rated him when he has played - gooner wayne

Believable28 Unbelievable6

The guy is made outta paper.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger has to be ruthless, I cannot believe he has done his hamstring again. You cannot have a player clogging up the squad, on really good money who has an injury record like Diaby. He has been with us fopr seven years, and has played less than 120 games, that ia a shocking record, sorry he is a fairly good player, but he has to go !

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree - feel really sorry for the lad cus even in the short time he was on yesterday he looked good and was beating players for fun! but injured again! saying that van persie used to be the same!

will be great if west brom can get something, then sunderland and united win.

we then have milan (tuesday), newcastle home (6 days later monday 12th),

everton away 9 days later , then villa home 3 days later.

Massive MASSIVE win today, 10 point gap to liverpool now.

Diaby lasted 28min....wat a joke. No one will buy him, so we should just release him and save the wages.

Also a joke...80min before the ox gets a chance

Believable29 Unbelievable12

It was Diabys first game back from injury. Wenger was risking playing him.

Agree0 Disagree0

If its a risk he shouldnt be on the bench, i would understand if rvp was a risk and on the bench and came on for the last 10 mins if we were loosing

Gunner89

Agree0 Disagree0

Gunner 89 if you hadn't noticed we're quite short on midfield. ramsey, frimpong, coquelin, wilshere all out, now add there arteta...

Stop being so bloody negative...we just won a HUGE game

Last comment - THANK YOU!!

Why are our fans becoming such whingers! Yes, diaby was a bit out of sorts. Wenger probably didn't want to use him, but didn't have a choice.

Yossi had a bad game, but he just flew yesterday! Ox played a full 90 minutes on wednesday and was rightfully a sub.

Wenger got it right to day, so how about a little appreciation!

@ billy bob. yeh i used to check this site for the BANT regularly but then it just put me in a bad mood watching games.
"so and so has to be sacked" "wengers sh*t!"

this site is the playground of armchair supporters mate.

I can count 11 different times Theo has had the ball in a good spot and lost it/made nothing of it (59 mins). How many of them could have become something promising with The Ox?

If I was on that bench I know what I'd be thinking...

Believable11 Unbelievable13

Walcott was fine, he was attacking and running well, they just couldn't get the ball down the wings much!

Agree0 Disagree0

Liverpool defended deep and wereclosing down VERY well.

Theo had no room. Glad his confidence is growing and he had a shot or two.

Billybob452

Agree0 Disagree0

I reckon the bench were thinking, "thank christ Theo scored two great goals last week, at least that will keep all the idiots off his back"

Lol @ above post

Well it's a shame Arteta had to get injured before he was brought off but at least Diaby's on now, we already look better.

jan vertonghen ed ? is spurs in a more advance talks slash runnings to get him over us i really hope not {Ed001's Note - they need a defender too, King can't go on forever.}

Believable8 Unbelievable2

We need our money to go elsewhere. We have two starting centre backs and gibbs n santos on the left. And song aint going anywhere

Agree0 Disagree0

The baffling thing is that if Vertoghen is actually available for 10 million quid HOW are we not in for him?

Our money does need to go elsewhere as well but Squillaci is done at Arsenal.

Djourou SHOULD be done at Arsenal too which makes Vert. an amazing replacement for 2 centrebacks.

I can't believe we gave Djourou a new contract which likely is on ridiculous wage(s) compared to his ability when we could/should get Vert :(

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally disagree with the last comment. Our defence is fine, we just need to stay fit.

Kos
Vermaelen
Mets
Djourou
Miguel

That is good CB options for next year.

Frankly, I think we still need to see how Gibbs performers (if he can get a run of games or if he gets injured again) -so an LB would be nice.

Vertoghen is not an ideal LB for us.

Money should be used for the midfield and attack

If we r meant to have a pre contract for M.Suarez, y is his manager coming out saying he is flying to Italy for talks (with Juventus)

Believable12 Unbelievable3

Javier Perez's blog seems to explain it. Seems pretty rational whatever he's explained there.. Check it out. He seems believable to cause he says "I dont do rumours" and is still sticking by the pre-contract thing. CHeck the blog out :)

He does Have Other Players You Know.

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course he has other players, but the manager was talking about suarez when he said it in the article. Said he is going to italy for talks about him.
