Should put another option on that.

Give him a backseat role bring in a young fresh apprentice?

Agree2 Disagree2

My suspicions appear to be correct! One signing has changed public opinion.

Agree6 Disagree0

Let him go at end of season.even if he wins a trophie it won't be a major one the squad is still lacking players and to be honest we didn't need ozil even though he's world class.a striker a dm and df would have been way better signings.to be honest ozil was a panic buy to get the fans of his back

Agree3 Disagree12

I am sorry to stay that I agree with thegoon. As great as Ozil is, did we really need him? The midfield of Jack, Aaron and Santi was doing great for me, with lots more to come.

I am not a fan of the way Flamini left, however the boy can play and will do a decent job. Arteta Rosicky and the Ox was another combination used and was doing well, so that department - IMHO - is not the problem.

However it is here and it is done and IF Arsene can get Ozil, Santi and Jack working with Aaron/Mikel/Mathieu, supporting and defending. We are in for a very good season indeed

And will admit, I am looking forward to seeing Gnarby and Zelahelm play as well

Sammy Nelson the greatest left back

What is wrong with you guys? We have a new stadium a great team and a great manager.Who would you replace him with? The only thing holding us back is no David D on the board, get him back on board and the trophies will pile up .

Agree3 Disagree0

A great manager that ain't won a trophie in 8 seasons? A great team that haven't won a trophie and struggled to finish 4th last season?oh well at least we have a great stadium that we pay a fortune to go sit in and celebrate finishing 4th like we won the league

Agree0 Disagree5

Stop living in the past its about the future . Who would you have as manager? Show me another who could finance a 460million stadium and a team.

Agree2 Disagree0

Everyone keeps saying we struggled to finish 4th, yet didn't we only just finish behind 3rd. does that mean chelsea are poor as well, we had the 2nd best defense in the prem last season. where is the need to panic?
with the team and finiances he has had I honestly do not think another manager could have kept us competitive which we have been over the last 8 years, yes we have not won, the league or CL but we have no right to win those compititions with ll the other great teams in them, but we are competitive, look at Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool to see how far we could have fallen, then you will realise what a good job arsene has done.

Agree5 Disagree0

Footballs a game where players and managers are judged on the past if we went another 8years trophieless would that be ok? A say get jurgen klopp in and use two need to take the blinkers of there's allways been momey available to him yet he fails to get players.look what happened this summer he dithered about while others strengthened and then signed ozil on last day to keep fans happy

New Poll on where you think will Arsenal finish this season on the voting polls page.

Believable6 Unbelievable22

We are still a player or 2 away from being the completed article, compared to how much spurs and loserpool have spent I will be happy just to qualify for champs league again, but kick on and make a challenge for the league next season.

Agree4 Disagree2

Above spurs ;)

Agree2 Disagree0

We are stronger than them would love to be playing Liverpool this weekend coming we have far more quality

This is just a feeling but I think Di Maria could come in on loan in the next couple of days. {Ed044's Note - The window is shut mate.}

Believable12 Unbelievable110

This is optimism in the extreme considering it is technically impossible.

Agree2 Disagree0

A sorry that completely made my morning!

Agree0 Disagree0

Does the loan and free transfer window not close later (Football Manager style).

Not technically true

Free's can be completed at any time as long as they've been made clubless prior to deadline and loans could be completed if the provisional agreements in principle are logged prior to transfer window closing

but its not going to happen or we woulda have heard of it by now

scottish goon

I want this rumor to stay up a long time, time stamp in bold ideally

This is an all-timer

Agree0 Disagree0

The loan window opens on Sunday, it's possible but I don't think it will happen. {Ed044's Note - There is no "loan window" mate.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The loan re-opens next week for the Championship and below for English to English team loans, but not for Premiership. That is perhaps where you are getting confused.

Only free unattached players can be signed now, Not sure if there are any really decent free agents out there to be honest. They are usually free agents for a reason.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apologies, my understanding was the loan window was for anyone.
