ed, what do you think arsenal's chances of signing hazard or goetze would be? also do you think arsenal will buy a striker to help rvp ? if you do who dou you think it will be. cheers {Ed002's Note - Unless an extraordinary bid is made in January, Eden Hazard will not be available to the summer. Real Madrid or Barcelona is his preferred destination. PSG, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are all interested to one degree or another. I said over the summer that I would not be surprised to see Manchester United through their hat in to the ring with Hazard as well. I don't see Hazard moving to Liverpool, Juventus, AC Milan or Arsenal for that matter. Chelsea have maintained a long-term interest but one particularly influential party at the club sees the player as having an attitude problem.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona have already been knocked back by his club and Goetze himself has made it abundantly clear that he wants to stay at Dortmund for this season, although no doubt a very significant offer would be listened to. Real Madrid may be able to persuade him to move. He has identified his favourite teams as Barcelona and Arsenal. There is also interest also from AC Milan - and I suspect that they are shifting their interest in Ganso or Fernando to Goetze due to persisting non-EU quota issues. There may be some, so far unpublisized, interest from elsewhere announced soon.
I don't see any chance of Podolski going to a club where he cannot be sure of a starting place - it could well put his international career at risk. Lazio, Spurs and Arsenal have shown an interest but he could decide to move to Turkey with Galatasary or possibly Russia with interest from several clubs including Anzhi and Zenit. If he does move to England, Arsenal is certainly the most likely destination.}

No chance Podolski would move to Turkey or Russia in the within the next 5 years. Of course he wants to start, especially being a key German international, but starting in the Turkish or Russian league doesn't cut it for a German international. He'd put his international career in more risk with a move to either league. Also, Podolski is a very ambitious player with a lot to offer. He won't waste away in a no name league.
