This is bad news as I was watching Espn italian football last nite, and Fiorentina were playing and they said that jovetic was having a poor season and was not in the side. He has not scored many goals.

I watched it too and he was in the side. showed some really good touches and hit the post. he hasn't scored for 2 months though.

Regardless of form as of late, Jovetic is a quality player, and is only 23. He can only get better.

Fiorentina approached Bayer Leverkuesen for Kiessling, bringing about more speculation that jovetic is on the move to another club, this combined with this rumour, could it be true that Arsenal are going to spend money to get jovetic?

Heard today that Remy wants to join Arsenal and will be available for 6 million because of a relegation clause in his contract.

I know but he would still be a different option upfront. He even said himself he wants to join so Wenger might as well.

I wouldn't mind if we signed him as a backup to our current striking options PLUS another forward signing. but this would not be the case. it would be between him as a 'bargain' signing or putting more cash forward for a better signing. if it came down to 6m for Remy or, for example, 20+m for Jovetic, I would rather we paid more for the better player.

Wenger won't buy Remy this summer. Also, its no surprise remy is advertising himself. its actually embaressing. He went to qpr for the money, whilst they were battling relegation, and now they are relegated, he wants to leave. Mercenary. Not wanted at Arsenal imo.

I don't think he's any different from what we've already got and what happens if joel Campbell gets his visa and we can't shift park or nicky were going to have some unhappy strikers on our hands plus chamakh to come back aswell

I pray we don't sign him. Not that he s a bad player or has under performed at any stretch but he is not World Class and any honest fans will agree he will not score 30 prem goals for us. He's not prolific check his record throughout his career for club and recently his playing career for country.

Most worrying thing for me is his injury record, having seen him as youngster I believe if it were not for injuries he would be top class also will be on very high wages

Walcott has all the same attributes but is a better player. Much rather stick with Theo. And we have backup for him already in the Ox.
