Its not looking likely as Wengers friday press conference has said no need as we have enough players coming back and its media driven bringing up Benzema. Move on nothing to see here people! i'm predicting a top 2 place and itll be between us and Chelski for the Title! COYG

{Ed002's Note - The Reus situation remains the same in that Borussia Dortmund offered a significant cash sum to the player to sign a one year extension to remove the release clause that German clubs could use to force a deal for the summer. Manchester United's interest has moved on, at least for now. Chelsea stepped back from any deal in December after several discussions resulted in a significant issue becoming clear - if that goes away then it is possible something could still be done, but I very, very much doubt it. Bayern is no longer pushing for him. Real Madrid would like a deal but need to move others on first - which it looks like they will try, but it could be 2016 before they want to make a move for him. Barcelona may look to striking a deal for January 2016 as a replacement for Pedro - but Reus has made it clear that he feels let down by them last summer. Arsenal will be interested if he is available but my expectation is he will probably remain at Dortmund next season.}

Well reus is supposed to be Madrids signing if benzema leaves. Looks like we will have to wait a season to get the player we need

So jacky boy is out for around 2 months with a hairline fracture. Really feel for the guy but we now HAVE to strengthen in midfield as well as up front. Double swoop for benzema and illarramendi anyone?

Yes I would like illarramendi he's got a good passing ranger and would fit it our style of play but I think he's off to Liverpool

we don't need midfield players...besides reus there is no one out there who will make us better. rather give our youth a chance by adding them as depth to our first team.

I'm sure wenger decided against buying a CDM because we have Le coq, arteta, flamini and Jack could play there if asked. However now jack is out for a while...AGAIN....he may need to rethink that. Illarramendi has been told by madrid he can leave and he would be a good option at CDM without breaking the bank. Let 1 of flamini and arteta leave and let Le coq and illarramendi compete to start. The fat spanish waiter hates jose like arsene... bet he would consider selling both benz and illarramendi to us just to hurt him and the chelsea fans who abused him so much. If we got those 2.....it won't just be the league we're going for this season!

He had a shocking attitude when we wanted him originally, apparently.
He also has never reached the levels people suggested for him.
I know that Coquelin is proof that you can come good after a rough spell, but he's probably going to be a minority.
Personally, I'd like to see us get Asier Illarramendi.
He's a good player, just outshined by the many stars at Real.
He'd be a good back up to Le Coq, and apparently has been told he can leave.
