Believable42 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal have offered the asking price and now have permission to talk with the player.}

Wow Ed that sounds promising!

Agree1 Disagree0

Wenger has sanctioned a 40 mill euro deal? while on the beach in brazil?

Meet the asking price too. If they haven't already

Agree0 Disagree0

Eds, lot of talk about City being interested in Sanchez, are they interested in everyone? Could they also look elsewhere such as Di Mario rather than spending a ton on Sanchez?

Believable8 Unbelievable5

{Ed001's Note - they see Sanchez as top class, he would improve their team, so they are interested. Makes sense to me, he is an outstanding player. I don't know if they are interested in Di Maria, they have not shown any real interest in him so far this summer.}

Oh well sanchez to man city it is now, with 200k wages and a nice spot on the bench.

FFP to man city means, Fake football punters.

After some early rumours linking us with Ospina everything seems to have gone very quiet on that front, which is a shame as he has looked quality for Columbia. Any chance Eds?

Believable1 Unbelievable9

{Ed002's Note - Ospina has effectively left Nice already and is looking for a new contract. I understand that he is interested in a move to Atletico but they have shown no interest in him. There was talk in January of Club Atlas being interested in him.}

Back of the net Banbury mate.

Phase 1 of my plan for world domination, apart from Oxfordshire of course, is in motion.

Thank you mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course, you would be hard pushed to boss this neck of the wood lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Where do they mention Remy? All I can see is Sanchez and Debuchy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd take that, and I'm not sold on Remy in fairness.

I didn't see any Remy news on BBC sport though!

Before you get excited Dags, I'd have Bebe as long as we got Sanchez too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Even as just forward and theo cover. At 8 mil Remy is a steal. Supreme quality or not, he's proven prem alright ish goalscorer.

I'm thinking wiltord mk2

Agree0 Disagree0

D_

Bebe? Mate that's the ultimate insult, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dags, It was one of those days at work!
I'm now realising how low I went there mate!
Hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me!

Agree0 Disagree0

D_

I'm waving a yellow at you.

Any more and you will be off, lol.

Not to be the harbinger of doom but everyone calm down a little on Sanchez. This time last year everyone, including the bbc, was reporting we were about to sign Higuain and look what happened.

I'm not saying it won't happen I'm just saying don't get excited until it's on the Arsenal website.

Nah let's all get excited it's what's the window is all about. Then we can all get disappointed at the end of it.

Agree0 Disagree0

We love the highs and lows of the window. How, else do you expect us to cope once the WC is over!

Agree0 Disagree0

I just hope city don't scupper our deal for sanchez but then again why would he go to city when it seems all they do is ruin careers any way if we get sanchez would be one hell of a signing simply because this fella can play
Anywhere left right center or as cover for giroud exactly what we need

Agree0 Disagree0

Bookie's suggesting transfer to Arsenal is 1/4 with both Man City/Utd at 16/1.
Make of it what you want.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well smartie let's hope the bookie wins that's all I can say

Pressure on the World Cup refs?
Lets say if Brazil had been knocked out let's say in the last 16.
Do you think the World Cup tournament would have been able to carry on in the way it has?
My feelings are that maybe the atmosphere would have been a lot different to what it is in Brazil at the moment a country where a lot of people were objecting to the money that has been spent only to see their hosting country not in it. It would not have been a good place to be a tourist if that had happened.
I'm thinking the refs have all this to contend with when making a descision on the pitch . Bit worrying being a ref in a host country where people are up in arms about the tournament in the first place. So are Brazil being favoured?
What do you think?

Fair point Golds.

Would hate to be a ref and officiate a host countries match but I think they have done a decent enough job, apart from the ref in one of the first matches, who was so poor I think they sent him home.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's clear for the whole world to see that Brazil are being favoured. The standard off refereeing has been terrible throughout the competition. I think Howard Webb is the only one who's actually been balanced in his officiating.
