I read a magazine which said that either Arsene Wenger would be getting sacked are he will be getting loads of cash. If he does keep his job, there are four targets he is looking for.
1. Garry Cahill = £18m
2. Buffon = £8m
3. Eden Hazard = £15m
4. Yann M'vila = £15m
What do you think Ed {Ed001's Note - I have not heard of any real interest in Buffon at all, he has a back problem which limits him. I am not sure about Cahill, lots of teams have scouted Bolton this season, but I can't be sure it is Cahill they are after. The other two are definitely of interest, no idea whether either will be bought though. It has become impossible to tell with Arsenal, even nailed on players end up not coming.}

and either pjanic or wilian (if nasri leaves)
alex chamberlain also will come in
this team has an english core and i am sure ramsey could fill fabregas' shoes after watching him against man utd.willian of pjanic would come into left wing when van persie is injured
listen i am arsenal fan do you actually watch arsenal cus you chat rubbish in the 15 years wengers bin at arsenal has he ever signed 3 god damm keepers in 1 window as sez and fab are ok just need exerience keeper to guide them!
so to sum up 3 keepers green 3m neur 25m? steklenburg ?

Ed 002, i assume these positions have to be filled by established quality players right? Then that would mean that wenger would have to use the whole 40m and then some. A top quality gk, cb, dm, and forward would certainly have to cost more than 40m must'nt it? Surely that's not wengers style.

ARSENAL POSSIBLE BUDGET
So we all understand that Wenger has 40M to play with this summer plus a further 30-40M if (a big if) Cesc leaver, followed by further 8-20+ million from other possible exits i.e almunia, rosicky, bednter and maybe arshavin (if he wants to go, because zenit want him back).
That is a possible 40-78m or even more. Lets not kid ourselves. just because we have the cash does not mean Wenger would spend every last penny of it. Or will he? Its plain to see that this team is only 2-3 players away from achieving greatness, and then a further 3-4 new squad players (no need to spend big, promote miyachi, frimpong, miqel, bartley, and sign chaimberlin)
Question is, would wenger blow his hole budget in pusuite of those 2-3 missing links or can we expect more 19 year old exiting prospects?
Either way is fine by me.
Ed what would be the best way to spend the possible 40-80m, 3 top signings or 5-6 cheaper young starlets?
