Ed-Arsenal is linked with Lazar Marković and Šime Vrsaljko , what r their chances in January?

SAM {Ed002's Note - Manchester City, Inter Milan, Leverkusen and Roma have shown an interest in Vrsaljkoand Inter seem well placed to make a push for the player. Lazar Markovic is a young Serbian footballer who has attracted the attention of Milan, Fiorentina, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayer Leverkusen and Espanyol. The player is keen to move to Chelsea and a move in January is possible, but Partizan Belgrade may price him out of the market.}

a good source fom inside that theo is on the verge to move to liverpool for £8 million

Believable16 Unbelievable35

This is Liverpool, he'll easily go for £37 million.

That would be a joke if he left for that. He's worth a lot more. You could double that just because he's English.

Sell this seasons's top scorer to another EPL competitor - sounds about right.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha good one - Liverpool an EPL competitor!

Agree0 Disagree0

We would be mad to get rid of theo, hes turning out to be a very good player for us and is scoring regulary now, the board should offer him the contract what he wants other wise hi will come back to haunt us like rvp has done

Demba Ba or seydou Dombia = back into the title race, I have seen demba pull newcastle out of a loss on numerous occasions, that guy is a beast and if dombias' stats and youtube videos are anything to go by he's also a beast and I think both of them won't be cup tied, my personal choice would be Ba, proven premier league record plus a 7mil buy out clause....

Doumbia is good as gervinhio we proper players not videos u seen on u tube. Gervinhio looks like messi on utube

Agree1 Disagree0

Gervinho is good actually. He lost his mojo here. His stat at lille speak for himself. Even etoo say he maybe better than messi.

Agree0 Disagree0

First response- please go home. Gervinho looks like fluke on his youtube. Doumbia looks amazing.

Agree0 Disagree0

7m was the buyout clause in the summer, but that expired!

Back in the title race?? did i miss something!!

ed Coentrão has arsenal shown interest and how possible could it happen ? {Ed002's Note - No and I really don't see it happening in January.}

Believable0 Unbelievable13

Marcelo is out with long-term injury, so at least this year....Coentrao will stay there as a safety net for Essien....who is again proving what a world class footballer he is...

One of my fave PL non-Arsenal players

Ed-Do you think arsenal is really interested Lars Bender? {Ed002's Note - Bayern Leverkusen's Lars Bender has been a player watched by Arsenal for some time. I understand that he has also been looked at by Manchester United, Spurs and Fiorentina. A move in January seems very unlikely to me.

Hello edd do u think arsenal are interested in mathias Suarez I know he's been injured and should be back soon but what I've seen of him he looks classy he was great in the Europa league I've heard cska are favourites. Also if Real Madrid sign falcoa who do u think they will sell benzema or higuain or keep both and sell calejjon (spelling) I'd prefer higuain to benzema but any of the 3 would be welcomed. Thank you for your time {Ed002's Note - I rather think Arsenal's interest remains elsewhere - e.g. Adrian Lopez and possibly still Llorente.}

Does anybody else think Podolski is wasted on the left? I really hope we get an out and out winger or top sticker during January. Some top players in last year if contract.

Llorente - £10m
Huntelaar - £12m
Farfan - £6m

What are the odds if us signing top players next summer. We would be lucky to get Adrian Lopez and Capoue whilst retaining our better players. I'd be surprised if we still had Sagna and Walcott next year.

Mathias Suarez is wat we need

Agree0 Disagree1

Poldi is only good if hes playing directly behind the ST. Something like a 4411 with him as CF would work. I dont know why people think hes a good back tracker to help on Defense because its clearly not what he wants to do.

Agree0 Disagree0

Farfan was able to leave Schalke in the window for free, but in the end, opted to sign a new contract with then.
So he's still in contract.

And I don't get the Fascination with Llorente?
Giroud is incredibly similar to him, as is Chamakh.

Giroud will come good in time, but as we all know, where a striker is concerned we don't have time.
If we but a striker, I maintain it has to become with EPL pedigree.

Look at Arteta.
Wenger could of bought Gourcuff which would of been more a wenger buy, but he bought Arteta (which I'm not sure would of happened had we not lost 8-2) and he jumped into our squad, and has consistently been one of our best players.

Good point D and i agree with the initial point that Podloski has looked a bit out of sortss on the wing. I think we should go back to 4-4-2 with Pod and Giroud up front. They are both players who can come deep to recieve the ball (Giroud in the air and Podolski on the ground) and play the other through. We then need to assess whether Chamakh can cut it as back-up (I personally think not, in spite of his Reading goals), and if not we can sell him and buy a direct replacement to compete with Podolski and Giroud (or maybe Walcott could fill this role?). A strong experienced PL striker would be great for this. I certainly wouldnt pass on Ba.

It's a crime that we sign an out and out striker with 18 goals last year and play him out of position on the left! We did the same thing to Arshavin. Poldi looks lost on the left! Why are we trying to reinvent these players? Do we want these players to fail?

Rather schurlle or willian to farfan

Agree0 Disagree0

Farfan signed a new contract with Schalke, it is unlike for him to leave. Also, he price would not be at 6m, it would reach 10m. Llorente is very similar to Giroud, we need another type of striker. Soldado would be best. We also need a CDM, someone like Wanyama or Capoue.
