Lukas podolski will arrive for £11.9m on 85k p/w. Arsène wenger has already spoken to frank de boer, regarding the availability of jan vertonghen. De boer told the arsenal manager that he was available for approximately £13m. Wenger did not make a move at the time, although inside sources reveal that arsene wenger will make a move in june. Olivier giroud and younès belhanda will be signed. (The pair of them for £30m). This will be funded by the sales of andrei arshavin(£8m) nicklas bendtner(£7m) marouane chamakh (£6m) denilson(£5m) and squillaci(£4m). Robin van persie will sign a contract extension in JANUARY, permitting on our league position.

How can you ask a question about Podolski one minute then 2 hours later suddenly know all our transfer dealings?

Sorry mate, but arsh is more around £5m and squid more like £2m both are in thirties and aren't impressing, £7m for bendtner is a little optimistic too, I saw somewhere he could go for as little as £4m although I can't remember where for love nor money!

Also I sincerely doubt we'll sign poldi AND Giroud, otherwise we'd have RVP, park, Giroud, poldi, vela, Campbell and Walcott all who want places as strikers, of course vela may leave but that's still give us 6 forwards, 7 if your being pedantic and include Gervinho.

Plus I'm sure the agreed poldi fee is £10.9, which we agreed to because if koln get relegated he can go for like £5m which, as you imagine would have every club around going for him, by offering the asked for £10m we cement our place as top candidates.

And my final moan point:

How can you post like a hour ago asking if poldi will join if we don't get CL but the. Post that all these players are joining?

Just a hunch or based on some information? (Genuinely just wondered because some people say they have inside info whilst other say they just have hunches, it is hard to decipher the two sometimes.)

Bermy Gooner

Yes and do please explain why Montpellier would sell their two best players at bargain prices?

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for that Arsene...

Harry where do you get your figures from?
and where do you get this info from?
mother goose

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not hard to make up these stories. Podolski was done weeks before. the others just guesses. Dont claim to be ITK cause you arent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who would pay 4m for squallaci? if he is not going to liverpool. we are never going to get more than 100.000-500.000 for him

Agree0 Disagree0

I seriously dont think we'll let rvp not sign a new deal this summer and if he doesn't we'll sell him

Greg

Agree0 Disagree0

4m for Squid ? person !

Agree0 Disagree0

I hate names and figures. If you had any idea about transfer dealings you would know it would have to be a lot closer to the window before any hunches have any validity.

Plus RVP has said he will discuss his contract in summer. Many times.

In Arsene I Trust.

If we were to finish 5/6th then would the podolski move be cancelled?
Harry

Believable6 Unbelievable14

Ehhh, apparently utd were keen but he turned them down ( Rooney would always be their number 1 striker, then chicharito or welbeck) at utd he'd probably treated like berba eventually

Lazio are probably Europa at beast, and they were keen.

It's irrelevant I reckon we're definetly fourth min, but koln are getting nothing, looking like relagation really, so I reckon moving to us would be mutually beneficial!

D

Agree0 Disagree0

How on earth are we going to finish 5th or sixth? fifth their is a small chance but 6th? no way...????

and podolski would still come yeah

real-goon

Agree0 Disagree0

Course he would come, his team is about to be relegated. As for 5th or 6th, don't be stupid they are both possible. Newcastle are on a fine run of form with Cisse banging them in for fun and Chelsea are doing what we were doing with last gasp winners. Nowhere near over

Nick,

Well Podolski is done and dusted as everyone knows. Vertonghen is also probable. Heard nothing about M'Vila or anyone else though. Not very profound i know; haven't spoken to him in depth in a long time.

No, in the article Frank De Boer said Jan Vertonghen will definitely leave. Nothing specific as to where he will leave to. http://www.espnstar.com/editorial/news/detail/item782281/Total-football-to-lose-another-star/

Ibster:

In the article doesn't the reporter also something about how de boer's interview hinted to arsenal in everyday without actually saying Arsenal.

(I read it earlier at work and can't be bothered to look It up again!)

D

D,
I listened to the podcast where the De Boer interview took place. They asked about the Arsenal rumors, but De Boer responded generally and just said if a good club comes in, he will leave 100%. He didn't say anything about a deal being agreed with Arsenal.

Ibster

Ibster:

Ahh you listened to the cast? I only read the article! The reporter said something about de boers hint being arsenal based, do I took his word for it!

Sorry for the doubt!

Edd any interest from arsenal for valbuena or moussa sissokho {Ed002's Note - Valbuena was for sale over the summer last year and there was interest from several clubs, with Arsenal showing some interest the previous year - due to a enquiry via Jose Anigo that was pushed back at the time. There was also speculation in France that Arsenal would make an approach to Marseille to take Valbuena as a replacement for Nasri but that never happened. Right now the player is not looking to move and Marseille are not looking to sell unless a significant offer were made to tempt them. Toulouse's Moussa Sissoko has attracted interest from Lyon, Roma, Genoa, Juventus, Liverpool and probably Napoli. Arsenal and Milan's previous interest waned over last summer. Damien Comolli let Sissoko's agent know that Liverpool see his man as the ideal long-term replacement for Steven Gerrard but for some reason Liverpool failed to make the final push in the summer. Sissoko remains available but Liverpool have yet to follow up their previous interest. Right now I would have to say Roma are most likely to get their man this summer.}
